I read 10/20/05 episode from India. At the end of the episode, Simran leaves home with a note and in next day's preview it says that she is at the top of the hill and at a very critical point.
How about Dr. Manas right behind her saves and brings her back to the Hospital, also he takes charge of the hospital now that Simran is not available. Remember the Hospital was very popular because of him, he was one of the best Pediatrician at the time and did all the critical procedures on the kids.
