The show should have ended when Astha came back with Simran and they were all celebrating. It would have been the perfect end.

perfect but soppy ending..but i agree it was high time they ended it..i wonder what other drama can they now bring in..this eye thing is more like raising awareness about social causes.. seriously.. its like trying to squeeze water out of a stone now..flogging a dead horse.. as nice as it was the serial it has gone so downhill.. right now of all the people i know who used to watch the show only about 10% due...if that is any indicator.. don't they calculate the TRPs like that also :)

I agree, they should have ended a long time ago. At first, Astitva was cool but now it's outdated.

I completely agree that it should have ended upon Astha's return. At least in that way, we could have seen the positive side of Astha. This would also have been the learning experience for girls who are actually rebelling against their parents, who leave home and forget about their parents. Astha's ending role should have been different. Oh well. There is not too much left to see in this series. Everything did not have to be so tragic. I would say that the series has gone downhill.
