hana yori dango is very short and has very little story development. in comparison meteor garden is slightly dragging, however, the character development of dioming si and huaze lei along with ximen is better. there is more insight into dioming's perseverence, ximen's gentlemanly attitude(there is a short side love story) and huaze lei's care for the female protagonist.

pj04, i know there's not much story development...but HYD used to be our little get away from studying after finals...so we enjoyed it anyway 😳 hmm...haven't seen meteor garden...will check that out 😛

we will be posting episodes of meteor garden after princess hours. I am sure you will be pleasently surprised, there were many aspects of the characters that absolutely amazed me but we will talk about them when i post episodes for that show. please enjoy this very addictive series until then.it has english subtitles in it. while the starting is slightly slow...it is fun after the marraige. any suggestions are welcome

to tell ya the truth its way much better then some of the indian soaps, good thing is that they have english subtitles in all the shows so its fun.

well, i've grown up where there are tons...and I mean TONS on asians. Asians meaning oriental's...not indians lol. 😳 my bestest friend from age 5 is Japanese, so actually i've been seeing loads of Japanese drama's. A little later, my friend introduced me to Korean music. Now i have over 150 Korean and Japanese songs on me. Some of sweetest friends on IF have gotten me into some more dramas. Before, I used to watch many many Japanese dramas. But, Korean drama talk...i've seen episodes of Princess Hours [Goong], Full House, and MNIKSS [Kim Samsoon] i have loads more to check out, though i'm trying to stay away...😆 after seeing some friends...ahemmm Tikii, Khair, Khush ahemmmm....i dun wanta get addicted 😃

i have to owe my addiction to tiki and priyu...both of them got me hooked onto Goong (aka Princess Hours) in like Jan..and since then theres been no stopping me lol...from there i started listening to all asian music (not understaning a word) but that okay lol..its all in the music! gah watched too many shows to count..ill start keeping a list lol

i just finished with mars....i must admit i am becoming smitten by victor zhou...incidently check out silence . the show is amazing and victor(zhai zhai) looks to die for with those stunning sad looks and short hairstyle. incidentally goong is licensed, and so it was very hard to find its episodes especially in high quality. once i had them i burnt them all down on cds because the episodes were simply vanishing off the internet.

meteor garden is taiwanese version of hyd. while hyd was very matter of fact, meteor garden has more of a story to it.incidentally victor zhou aka zhen shen plays huaze lei in it. he looks good in it too. i would say he is the taiwanese equivalent of hiten tejwani. a very cute guy ken plays ximen in it. while i did not like the guy who plays dioming in it initially, i guess he kind of grew on me. it was humbling to see such a proud character getting humiliated repeatedly for the sake of his lady love and she still wouldn't love him.
