@Tris ... I haven't watched "Office" ... I have heard praises from many about that show .. I'll add that to the list since I am in mood for fun sitcoms these days than spending an hour on dramas!
@Malpua ... Koreans in general have the culture of being rude af in your face be it body shaming or racism ... They really need to fix that aspect of their culture! ... I watched the shared video, I am surprised many news portal haven't picked on it! ...
What I am even more surprised is how the area near that factory has "Korean signs" and Uni near by has a Korean course so people can communicate with them! .. W*F is that nonsense!.. .. Shouldn't it be other way around ... They want business they should learn how to assimilate in India and Indian culture ... If tomorrow Indians bring their business to Korean, I highly doubt they'll be ok with us using "Indian signs" or expecting them to learn our language so we can communicate better! ... Gaah, there's so much wrong with what I saw in that video ... Utterly disappointed with government and even local municipality for something like that to be passed off nonchalantly! ...

@Sam
I agree with you; these people are really rude. They should be ousted fast. At least, the government should implement the rules and regulations to use local talents and not bring so many Koreans. For goodness sake, India has a lot of engineers and executives.

This is like Whites telling government to kick out the immigrants out of USA, because they're taking their jobs. It's prejudice, hurtful, and unfair.
Sorry Noumi, I don't agree with you here. I think government should interfere and remove the racism here by having the companies allow the Indians in. I don't think the companies need to be ousted for that.

@Tris
First of all the whites themselves are immigrants -- unless they are the native American Indians. Second of all -- dude, what the government wants to oust from the US are not the legal immigrants who migrate to the US by the book. They ousted the illegal immigrants who settle in the US without proper permits and legalities.
So, I don't see why the government shouldn't protect its interests and the interests of its people.
Then again you and I might be on different spectrum in this view. So, maybe we should agree to disagree.

@Tris .. I think "Koreans" working at the factory ... highly doubt they are "immigrants" ... Not sure how things function when a country set ups such projects in India and what rules and regulations entails! ... So I can't really speculate whether the situation is similar to those immigrants working in the US! ..
But it's bizarre how there are 7-8 Korean restaurants and also various hotels to accommodate Koreans ... It means there must be a lot of Korean traffic in the area ... I really wonder on what basis those Koreans are working there ... What kind of Visa? Travel or work Visa or direct immigration?! .. Tho my money isn't on immigration .. don't think Koreans will even think of settling in India when they harbour so much prejudice and racism! ... I may read up on this KIA factory later on Google and see if I can find more details to ease my curiosity .. 😆

I know but Whites feel entitled to the country. Trump's government wants to deport illegal government sure, but the people still say immigrants are taking up their jobs. That includes the legal ones too. They don't want any immigrants that are not White. Color and discrimination is rooted deep down.
Also, sometimes its important to bring talent from another country to further increase the economy. I don't know the deep economics of it all but it's there... I think lol

And I don't know if I like to agree to disagree. This phrase is irksome. People who say it somehow share a similar behavior idk 😆
BTW just out of curiosity, where are you residing right now? I asked that before too but you never answered. I don't know if you saw that or not 😃

Oh yeah the car company! I was thinking of IKEA. That's a Sweden company and it recently opened a branch in India as well. So it makes sense why I confused it with KIA lol

Then it makes sense that so many Koreans are around there. It's common for companies to send over their employees to their branches overseas. Though what is not common is the branches in other countries not hiring the people from that country.
So, Indian government must be receiving a huge amount of tax to have them build their factory there? Their people are so not getting a job though. The discrimination has exceeded to racism, and the government is keeping shut about it? Why wouldn't they take a step against it... huh *thinking emoji*
