I have the same question😆. Most Korean shows seems to have this formula.

I'm also new to Korean dramas. I just watched two shows because its being aired in a Tamil channel. I don't like to watch online. In both these shows, second lead is as good as the main lead in terms of many materialistic things like looks, success in their own way etc. But the second lead in both shows are shown very considerate to the heroine than the main lead. Hero is always seems self obsessed.

most of the K-dramas follow this technique...after watching BOF,u r beautiful n other dramas i was confused n shocked simultaneously..main leads done nothing to the heroine,but second lead gives all in all protection to the girl whenever she needed...but girl would love main lead only,even if they r rude n adamant...even if they have the dont care attitude. dono the reason...but my suggestion is that they should bring some girl for second lead too at the end of the drama...then only it would be worth watching...becoz,cant able to see their worried faces...truely they r very beautiful n smart than main leads especially jihoo in bof...i like lee min ho very much...but there,jihoo scored equal marks as of junpyo😳

but i will say they r the true gentlemen😆..n they would occupy the special place in our hearts😳
