Chapter : Pride

All the friends turned towards the group. They were all shocked to see the principal, Arjun's and Riya's parents.

Riya moved towards the group. Seeing her Arjun also moved towards the group. If they were going to scold Riya then he also would be a part of it since it was he who had called Riya to talk with him.

Gayatri: I am really surprised to see your maturity at this age Riya. I thank god till day that i carried you in my womb.

You were always supportive and had grown up more than your age. You are the father model for your brother and sister.

I wish Sachin should have been here with us right now. He would have been so proud of you.

Saying this she hugged Riya and rest of the family members also hugged her.

Preeti: I am really shocked Arjun. But I agree with Riya. This is your time to enjoy and concentrate on your exams.

What life holds no one will know. If destiny has written your names together no one will be able to separate you.

Riya broke the hug and came to near Arjun's family.

Riya: I am sorry for what happened here. I like Arjun a lot but I have some responsibilities towards my family who are everything to me and my mom.

As you said if destiny has our names written together I want it to be with the acceptance of both family members. I do not want a single person unhappy because of our relationship.

She turns towards the Principal : I am sorry Mam. This was not supposed to happen in the school premises since we all are still students of this school.

Arjun: Yes Mam, I take the responsibility, since it was I who decided..

His sentence was broken because the rest of the SAVE group came forward.

Sam/Sid/Vijay/Eric: Yes Mam, it was because of us that Arjun took this step to talk to Riya and confess his feelings.

We are to be blamed and not the girls.

Principal: I am really proud that all of you are my students. Generally girls get blamed for such a situation and the guys having upper hand escape. But here you all support each other and take the blame on yourselves.

I pray to God that you will achieve what you all deserve. Come on now lets go to the auditorium.

All of them turned and started moving.

Arjun saw Riya and Riya stopped moving. The rest of the gang saw this and moved with the others.

Arjun(in shakehand gesture) : All the best Riya. Please concentrate on your studies and make your family proud. I pray to god that those people will be punished.

Riya(taking his hand) : Thanks Arjun. All the best to you. Make your family proud and I am sorry if I have hurt you.

Slowly she tried to release her hand but in a sudden gesture Arjun pulled her and hugged her and gave a kiss on her forehead.

Riya was shocked by the sudden pull and even more shocked when he kissed her.

She immediately came out of the hug and ran towards the auditorium.

In the Auditorium :

The final Send-off party was on full swing and all of them enjoyed. Many shed tears since the moment to go home and never return back to this school started haunting them.

All the students, staff and Principal once again wished them all the best and soon the party was over and all headed towards their respective home.
