Chapter 3
"Say the truth darling." Sikandar sang, "Say it, SAY IT!"
Sakshi's cheeks were damp, from her tears. She was afraid, afraid of what Sikandar would do to her and Arjun too, still she kept quite.
"This is becoming so melodramatic, let me tell you the truth then. Sakshi Anand loves you ACP." he said it in a matter of factly tone.
Arjun's anger was then replaced by utter shock.
"Surprise!" Sikandar smirked.
Arjun's and Sakshi's eyes met and he could tell that the fear was long gone from her eyes, instead their was extreme sadness and hopelessness.
"Rawte!' Arjun broke eye contact with Sakshi to look at his whole team entering the roof top.
"Good, now it will be more fun." Sikandar smiled more widely.
"Sikandar, surrender now, this whole building is surrounded by police." Rathore commanded.
"Surrender? so early? No, not without giving this drama a sad ending." Sikandar said dramatically, before tightening his hold around his gun, about to shoot Sakshi.
"SIKANDAR!" Arjun shouted, aiming his gun at Sikandar.
Sakshi closed her eyes, when she heard two bullets being fired. She waited for the bullet to enter her head, waited for the pain. But nothing happened. She opened her eyes just in time to see Arjun stumbling backwards as a bullet pierced his left leg. His eyes widened, not because of the pain, but because he realized that he is going to fall off the building.
"Arjun!" a loud shriek left Sakshi's mouth as she ran towards him, but he was already falling off the building.
As Sakshi bent down to look over the edge of the building, just to see Arjun's limp form lying on the pavement below, the whole team looked in utter shock, forgetting all about Sikandar.
And that's when everything went into chaos.
"NO, ARJUN!"
