The shrill sound came from Arjun's phone. It startled everyone and broke Arjun's sleep. He quickly picked the call while still in the laying position.

Arjun: hello?

Otherside: Arjun, please come to hospital immediately.

Arjun didn't get what was going on. He sat up and in a worried tone asked.

Arjun: what's the matter? Uncle?

On the other side he almost heard uncle shout, but then he relaxed and requested Arjun to reach the hospital soon.

Others who saw the sudden change in his behaviour tried to enquire about the matter.

Sakshi: Arjun?

That was when Arjun realized what was going on and different types of worries surrounded him. He was getting strong negative vibes, related to his father and the way uncle called him scared him more. He came out of his thoughts when Sakshi shook him gently.

Arjun: I'm going out now.

Sakshi: why and where?

Arjun: uncle called me urgently I'll be back. Don't worry.

Sakshi: but you are not well, can we accompany you.

Arjun: no, it's related to me and my father, and I don't want any more complications and allegations for him.

Saying so He left. Others were left to worry about themselves. Arjun strictly drew the line that he is not willing to entertain them now.

It was morning when he left and now it was almost midnight but Arjun still didn't return. This worried every one. They tried calling him but he didn't pick up the phone.

Here with Arjun, he reached the hospital and saw uncle sitting on a bench and crying. He quickly went to him and asked him about his father, to which he just directed towards a direction.

When Arjun went to that direction, he was shocked beyond his wits. He ran into the room and found his baba struggling in pain. The doctors were on either side trying to sooth him. Arjun's eyes welled up seeing his condition.

Arjun: baba what have you done? I told you to be patient. But you.

Arjun broke down seeing his painful condition. Suryakant who couldn't see his son crying tried to console him.

Baba: Arjun, I was never a good father before, but destiny gave me another chance and I used it to the fullest. Arjun don't waste your life. You are also getting a second chance use it.

Arjun: baba please I can't do all these without you.

Baba: everyone has to leave at sometime or another. So don't be sad. I know you'll be able to fulfill this mission. But please don't be angry at your family because of me reveal the truth to them.

Arjun: baba...

Baba: promise me Arjun, you'll tell them and undergo the surgery. Promise me.

Arjun: promise baba.

Baba: good. Now go to my locker room you'll find something for you there.

The doctors cane in and said.

Doctor: Mr Rawte we need to take him, for the operation.

Baba: promise me you won't blame yourself.

These were the last words from his baba. He was holding an ash pot in his hand. And thinking about his baba. He thought he didn't had any emotions left but guess he was wrong. His emotions died now. The Singhanias did play a wrong move this time and no one could save them now. But before that he had promised something to his baba.

Around 3 in the morning Arjun returned home, with his uncle. Others were not around, but he found Sakshi on the sofa asleep. He entered the house and went near her once then went to the study room and took out another similar ash pot.

By then Sakshi had woken up and saw uncle standing near the door. He looked distraught and had blood stains here and there on his shirt. But he looked fine so whose blood was it may be Arjun's. That thought scared her and she went to him to ask about it.

Sakshi: uncle, where's Arjun? Is he fine?

She heard Arjun's voice from behind. And his look scared her. He looked dead. He had lost the fire that was in him and that worried her.

Sakshi: Arjun are you okay?

But Arjun didn't reply to her question. Instead commanded uncle.

Arjun: uncle prepare for the ceremonies, for both baba and Arjun.

Uncle: but...

Arjun: this is what baba wanted. And I respect his every wish. Please.

Uncle: but what about the...

Arjun: some day or other they'll get to know and I guess it's time.

Arjun and uncle left in two directions. Sakshi went behind Arjun to the study room. There she saw him putting the photo frame which he had opened last day, on its place and he was fidgetting with two ash pots. He looked devoid of life but his eyes were full.

She slowly went towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder and looked at the photo frame, she couldn't help but gasp loudly. It was Raichand family picture, where Sakshi was also present, preferably it was Sakshi's gift to Advay.

Arjun understood her mental state. So thought of giving her some time. He knew she had started connecting dots and would be able to get the whole picture soon. But Sakshi stopped him from leaving.

Sakshi: what is going on Arjun? Where's baba? Whose are these pots? And how do you have this picture?

Arjun remained silent for a while and then thought it's time, and remembered about the promise.

Arjuj: I guess you partially know about the first and last question, Tani.

And that lone word made her stop breathing. He deliberately said Tani to confirm her doubts as he knew it would have its effects. Seeing her he could understand she was in shock. She stood rooted at her place and tears kept flowing down her face. He continued then.

Arjun: and baba is not here anymore. These ash pots belong to baba and Arjun.

That was another shock for her. She understood things were not that simple as it appeared. Yesterday during the discussions they forgot that Arjun's and Advay's faces where different, and now things were bit too complicated for her.

Sakshi: ar...arj...Arjun.

But before she could ask further or he could react, uncle called him saying the pandit had arrived. Arjun at once went out and she too slowly followed him once she was in the hall she was shocked. Two memorial ceremonies were arranged and the pictures were one of Suryakant, and one of Arjun himself.

He sat down and conducted both the ceremonies. Others also woke up due to the sound of the puja. They approached the hall and found a paralyzed Sakshi whose eyes were flowing continuously. But more shocking were the pictures in the ceremonies. One belonged to Arjun, other to Suryakant. They didn't know what was happening and how all of a sudden all these happened but then reality dawned them that Suryakant was not around anymore.

They stood there trying to absorb the new things, but we're unable to, still they could guess about Suryakant's demise but Arjun, he was sitting right in front of them.

After sometime the puja was over. And Arjun was clearing up the place. After everything was over he kept the ash pots in the nearby drawer and was going towards the study only to be stopped by Arnav.

Arnav: Arjun what is all these?

Arjun looked at him. Those devoid eyes made him flinch, but he didn't give up, and held his arm. Arjun was also finding it difficult but didn't bother now. Nothing could go wrong any more. He had nothing to loose anymore. He removed Arnav's hand and glanced at his baba's photo and went near it.

Arjun: that night Arjun didn't survive through the accident. Advay's face was too damaged to even recognise. Not knowing the actual face baba gave him the face, identity, place of his own son, whom he had lost lately.

At first they didn't realise what he said, but as Sakshi fell to her knees the new information seeped through them. And their reactions were not very different from her. As baba told he informed them everything from there.

Arjun: I had a major head injury and that's why there's a clot in my head, which has now become fatal. I take drugs to stay awake at night as I can't sleep. I guess that's more or less everything. He turned around to see the 6 people who had become statues, by now.

But soon they heard the door bell. The watchman informed him about the arrival of the Singhanias. He instructed others to go inside which they did mechanically.

Devraj and Ragini comforted him for his loss. Though he knew they had caused it, he remained calm. But he was not in mood to tolerate them anymore.

Arjun: what was baba doing at your place?

Ragini: Arjun?

Arjun: his last location was at your place, what was he doing there?

That relieved others, they thought Arjun didn't know why or what happened there. They tried to divert Arjun.

Devraj; he came for business purpose.

Arjun: I hope that's the truth. If anything different take place. Then you don't know what you all are getting yourselves into.

He warned them. And it wouldn't be wrong to say that they were worried. They left soon to avoid further problems. Ragini and Devraj went out first. And Pallavi was glancing here and there. To which Arjun Said.

Arjun: I 'm sure, that may be your family couldn't understand, but you know what is going on.

Pallavi: so my doubt was right. You are not Arjun. Then who are you and what do you want?

Arjun: you are intelligent enough to think. Think about me, you've made too many enemies to even remember.

Pallavi: I won't let you harm my family.

Arjun: let's see who harms them, me or you.

Pallavi: what are you saying?

Arjun: you know what I'm saying, till now there has been lots of small fights, now it's time to end the war.

Pallavi left after that confrontation, she knew she couldn't confide to her family as they won't believe her. So she had to do everything alone.

Here at rawte mansion arjun called someone,

Arjun: it's time, come soon.

As Arjun turned around he saw others standing there. They seemed to have absorbed the truth, and their eyes held different emotions now. Arnav came to him and was about to hug him when Pallavi call disturbed them.

Before Arjun could pick it Arnav put it on speaker. Arjun sighed and continued.

Arjun: hello?

Pallavi: I don't know who you are, and can't get it also, but whoever you are stay away from my family.

Arjun smirked in response and said

Arjun : they didn't trust you?

Pallavi's gritted teeth could be seen in this side too before she cut the call. Arjun snatched the phone and took deep breaths to control himself. Things were getting dangerous, Pallavi would stoop down to any level and now since his father was not by his side he was actually left alone. That's when he heard his biological father's voice.

Arnav: we are with you, don't worry Mr Rawte will get his justice.

Arjun nodded in return when Arman spoke up. They didn't pick up Advay's topic now as they had seen him not very happy to share those things. So they left that for a while.

Arman: what are we supposed to do?

Arjun: you won't do anything. It's my work I'll do it.

Sam: Arjun, you don't have to worry about us...

Arjun: I'm not worried about you, it's just that I don't trust you any more.

Arjun: I'm not worried about you it's just that I don't trust you anymore.

His words were like dagger to all especially Arnav and Arman. First that letter was enough to pierce their heart and now he himself telling these was heart wrenching. But this angered them also. How dare he say it's his work, and he doesn't trust them. He needs to answer everything today. Every question every mystery. He needs to share his pains, his desires otherwise it would explode inside him.

Arnav: okay you don't have to trust us, but you can't exclude us from this war. You are forgetting I was handling Sikander's case.

His voice was cracked yet stern. But Arjun's calm reply was yet another blow.

Arjun: 10 years are enough to forget things Mr Raichand. And maybe you are forgetting you don't hold the post of IG any more. Rather you are officially dead.

The way he addressed his father was something they never expected. Sakshi was right situations change people but this change was not expected by Sakshi as well. He was a total different person, the lively Advay was long dead. The remains which stayed back also died yesterday. And now only a fire was left which would burn anything and everything that came in between his revenge.

Arman couldn't take all these any more, he violently shook Arjun.

Arman: Advay what's wrong with you? Why are you behaving like this. First you didnt disclose about your identity, then you joined in police force. You planned revenge against Singhanias you made Ragini mad for you, why did you do all these, for us, for your family. And now you are saying you don't trust us you don't want us in all these. Do you really think we'll leave you to fend for...

Arjun: it's Arjun, and you did that earlier what's wrong in repeating it again?

Arjun: you all are experienced in your fields. Much more than I am. You also have lifetime experience about love and deceit. Still you behaved like impulsive fools. It didn't take you more than a second to turn against us, how will I be sure this won't be repeated.

Arman: Advay...

His voice was no less than a whisper. He then remembered what Arjun had said when they accused them. He looked at him and saw him staring at his baba's picture. He stumbled backward only to be supported by Samridhi and Sameer. Whereas Arnav was consoled by Sakshi and Ayesha. Sakshi who lost her cool seeing this face of she didn't know Arjun or Advay confronted him.

Sakshi: you are hurting your own family. How can you be so cruel. They love you and you are... I don't know what to say.

Arjun: you know very well I'm ruthless. Both you and Sameer agreed that day, that staying with Singhanias I've learnt to play with emotions. I never told you to marry me Sakshi, neither did I tell you to love me, nor to support me in all these. You came here by your wish against my wish changing everything we planned. Your arrival increased their doubts, if I had been married to Ragini, Priyal wouldn't have created such suspicions in Pallavi's mind. If you didn't reacted impulsively yesterday and listened to us, things would have been different. Baba would not have known about the attacks on me and he would have been alive. I'm telling the truth, and this hurting you then think what would have happened to that man who without thinking about his loss saved Advay's life unconditionally.

They knew they had been wrong that time. But what was more painful was they didn't even got a chance to apologise.

Sam: Arjun how did uncle...

Arjun: how do you think? They killed him. His body was found in middle of the road. Last location was Singhania mansion, what happened there I don't know.

Sam sighed he went to Arjun and hugged him tightly, he had always considered Advay as his younger brother too, and Arjun was much more than just his friend, he was his brother. He expected Arjun to cry out, to hug him and relieve his heart, but nothing came it actually appeared whatever was alive is dead now. But like everyone else he too knew that Arjun has to take it out.

Arnav who couldn't t beer it anymore, fell to his knees and folding his hands cried out.

Arnav: I'm sorry Advay. Please forgive me. I never intended to cause you any pain and the irony is I'm the one who gave you maximum pain. Please Advay I've lived thinking my sons are dead, I got back Arman because of you now I want my little son back. I know I'm being selfish again, but you know you both are my world and I can't live without you, anymore. Punish me in whatever way you want but please don't call me sir, or Mr Raichand please. Come back son Please.

Saying so arnav started weeping. Arman also joined the pace he held Arjun's palms in his and started.

Arman: you were my best gift you know. My life before you came in, was quite blunt but your arrival filled colours in it. Your arrival filled a sense of duty in me. You called me 'bhai' and I didn't allow anyone else to call me so. It was your right how could any one just call me what you call me. But may be my heart recognised you before I could so I told you to call me bhai not knowing it was your right. I can't even think what were you feeling that time. I know I've put you down. Left your side when you were quite scared of the happenings. Please forgive me Advay. Please come back. Saying so he also joined his father in crying.
