Chapter 19:And then Arjun was taken to hospital. And Imran to his trial...
Sameer's flow was interrupted by the shrill sound of his phone. Seeing Riya's number surprised him. They were not in cordial terms now, and she calling him this late meant something alarming. He picked up the call.
Sameer: Hello?
Riya: Sir, mujhe kuch dino ki leave chahiye.
Sameer: Kya Hua Riya? sab thik...
Riya: personal reason hai sir. Please it's urgent.
Sameer: okay, filhal do weeks sanctions karta hu. If you want to extend it, mujhe inform kardena.
Riya: thank you sir.
Saying so she cut the call. Sameer on the other hand stared at his phone. Riya, the girl whom he used to adore. Love as his sister, respect as an eligible officer. She also shared a beautiful bond with him which was now strained.
The allegations he had put up against her was too shameful for any woman. And being a feminist as Riya was it was insulting. No one would tolerate if you question their character, and they did it time and again. And why, because she supported Arjun, her love, the truth. It was her personal choice to love someone. She was actually supporting what was right yet she had to face critism from them. He wished to amend the broken ties, if only he got the chance.
Sighing dejectedly he glanced at his parents who were eager to know what happened. He told them about Riya and then went to sleep. Hoping that the new day would bring some new opportunities for him.
Riya was in hospital with her family. Her grandma was not well and she needed to undergo a surgery. But the problem was the cost was too high. All their savings would run out, which they had saved for Rishabh's studies and Riya's marriage. Riya being the only earning member didn't have much savings in her account as well.
This thought worried every one. Rakesh and Raima were consulting about what to do. Rishabh was praying to God and Riya was lost in thoughts whether to call Arjun or not.
Arjun had returned that day itself. He didn't have any such major injury. Other than a broken hand and a few bandages here and there. But after this long mission he was dead tired so she was hesitating to disturb him. But she needed strength which he could only give her.
In a trance she dialed his number. But realizing what she was doing she quickly cut the call, before it could disturb Arjun.
But the call reached its destination and Arjun being a light sleeper woke up hearing one ring. Seeing Riya's number that too at that time disturbed him. He had a talk with her few hours ago and she made sure he slept on time to have the well deserved rest. And now her call worried him.
He quickly called her back, but she didn't receive it. This repeated for a few times. Then getting seriously worried about the situation he dialed Rishabh's number.
He knew Rishabh was a heavy sleeper and won't pick up the call if was sleeping, still he took a chance. But to his surprise the call was answered.
Rishabh: hello? Arjun?
Arjun: ha Rishabh. Sab thik hai na? Tum Abhi tak jag rahe ho? Aur toh aur mujhe Riya ka call aya tha, phir jab maine call back kiya usne pick nahi kiya isliye maine tumhe...
Rishabh: di ne tumhe kuch nahi bataya?
Arjun: kis baareme Rishabh, please kuch toh bolo mujhe ab dar lag raha hai.
Rishabh just glanced at Riya once who was lost in her thoughts. And then narrated the whole incident to Arjun. Arjun was shocked to hear about the condition of his Rakshitaji. Without wasting any time he went to the hospital.
He reached the hospital in another hour and went to the Mukherjee family. Though none said, seeing Arjun there all gained some strength and relaxed a bit. Riya and Rishabh just went forward and hugged him together.
He held both for a while before parting. Then focusing his attention to Rishabh he consoled him, and ignored Riya. This behaviour of his hurt her a lot. And when she went to him he again ignored her and went to Mr Mukherjee.
There he got to know about their worry and the actual problem after much insistence. As they didn't want Arjun to get tensed. And they knew if he would know about the situation he would do anything and everything possible to help them.
Rakesh:...Aur itne paise humare paas nahi hai. Agar parso tak money deposit nahi hua toh surgery nahi hogi aur maa...
Arjun: mere paas hai. Main submit karke ata hu.
Rakesh: nahi Arjun. Yeh Kya keh rahe ho, tum kaise. Nahi hum tumse Paise nahi le sakte.
Arjun: par kyu nahi, apne kaha na ki main apka beta hu. Toh agar Riya ya Rishabh dete toh aap lete na? Toh lelijiye.
Raima: nahi beta aisa nahi hota. Woh tumhara hai. Tumhara hard earned money. Woh hum aise. Nahi.
Rishabh: par mom Arjun de raha he lelo na. Dida ke health ka sawal hai.
Rakesh: nahi Rishabh.
Arjun tried to convince the Mukherjee couple but they didn't agree. He couldn't understand whether the problem was in him giving the money or their taking it from him. He knew he had to give the money otherwise they could even loose Rakshitaji. Which they were not understanding.
Then Arjun came up with a plan with which he could give the money without any fussing. Tired of arguing with his to be father in law he said something astonishing which surprised everyone.
Arjun: thik hai Paisa nahi le rahe hai mat lijiye. Par meri ek maang apko puri karni hogi.
Raima: Kya baat hai bolo na. Hum zarur pura karenge.
Arjun: promise kijiye mujhe woh kalke andar chahiye.
Raima: areh promise. Ab bolo.
Arjun: mujhe Riya se shaadi karni hai. Abhi. Kal ke andar.
Surprise would be an understatement for the whole family. They didn't know what had suddenly gotten into him. They tried to make him understand that how will they prepare for marriage so soon that too when Rakshita granny was in hospital.
But Arjun was adamant. He told he'll do court marriage. The papers and every thing was ready as Riya had asked for it when he left for the mission. So they were left with no other choice than to agree. Riya was herself confused but when she tried to talk to him he ignored her.
Next day Riya reached court with her family. Dressed in a golden-maroon lehenga and some light gold jewellery she looked no less than a queen, who already reigned Arjun's heart.
Arjun on the other hand was dressed in a blue shervani. He himself didn't look any less and complimented Riya in every way.
Soon they got married with the minimum customary of filling her partition, and exchanging their garlands. Riya's family signed as witnesses from both sides.
Then Arjun took Riya to his home. And others went to the hospital. Whole way, from last night Arjun didn't talk with her and now she was getting scared. They reached his house.
Nothing special was prepared just it was cleaned properly and a big portrayed of Riya was placed beside Roshni's. Arjun left to his room leaving Riya worried about what to do next.
But she didn't had to wait for long. As he arrived soon with some legal papers.
Arjun: yeh papers maine Pehle banaye the. Socha tha shaadi ke baad dunga. But shaadi aise hogaya.
Riya: Kya he iye?
Arjun: legal papers hai. Saying you have equal right on my whole property. And you can access it whenever and wherever you want.
Riya looked at him shocked. She knew Arjun had a huge property to call his own. And apart from that his own money was no less. And now he was giving all of it to her. Now she understood why Arjun was so stubborn in marrying her in haste. He wanted to give the money, but since her father was not oblying he married her so that she could give the money as it belonged to her as well.
Riya thanked all her lucky stars to give her such a life partner. Who was willingly giving her everything before she could even ask for it. Her immense love and respect which she had for Arjun just got multiplied she didn't know how many times. Unable to contain her emotions she ran into his arms.
But Arjun didn't hug her back. She looked up only to see an angry Arjun, whom she didn't see for the past 1 - 2 years. She gulped down her fear.
Riya: A..Arjun?
Arjun: mat bulao Arjun. Sir hi bulao. Kyuki tum you mujhe apna manti hi nahi ho.
Riya: aisa kyu keh rahe ho aap. Aapko pata haina main aapse kitna pyaar karti hu?
Now Arjun's anger crossed all limits. He held Riya's shoulders and pinned her to the wall. His fury scared Riya. She gasped at the force and tears brimmed in her eyes.
Arjun: pyaar karti ho, toh kyu nahi bataya dida ke baareme. Mujhe kuch pata bhi nahi chalta agar Rishabh phone nahi uthata toh. Agar mera saath nahi chahiye toh bol deti Pehle. Ab bhi bol do chahe toh shaadi tor do.
Riya started crying hearing his words. It pained her a lot when he said that she didn't needed his support. Controlling her sobs she said.
Riya: Arjun, aap kal hi wapas aye the aur thak gaye the toh apko disturb nahi karna chati thi. I love you. Main humesha aapka saath chahti hu please aisa mat kijiye.
Saying so she again hugged him. Hiding herself in his chest and crying freely. Arjun also calmed down. He hugged her back and caressed her back soothing her and kissed her head to calm her. Few tears escaped his eyes too. After riya gained her composure he broke the hug and wiped her tears.
Arjun: Riya saathi sirf khushiyon ke waqt nahi hota. Jo dukh mein saath ho wahi saathi hai. Agar tum mujhse apna gam nahi baatogi toh main tumhara husafar kaise banunga?
Riya just hugged him again. Thanking all the Gods and Goddesses. And apologised to Arjun.
Then they both went to the hospital to deposit the money. Getting Arjun's intentions of marriage all were surprised and felt lucky that they received him. They were also happy for Riya.
Like this, they started their new journey, their married life. Every thing seemed beautiful and colourful their with no glimpse of darkness. They lived happily not knowing all these were temporary and soon a storm would come to change their lives forever.

I know there are many questions. Like how Ariya spent their married life? What was the new storm? What would happen to their relation with ETF? Sameer's parents interaction with Arjun? Sameer- Roshni- Arjun's past? How did Arjun know the Mukherjee's and Rathore's?
There are many questions which are left for season 2.
Whose start and updates would completely depend on the response I get.
If I don't get enough response I'll not continue with the sequel. Neither will I update the upcoming stories. So readers do comment. And silent readers your comments do matter, please comment.
