The blooming rose Part 1

The Candidates for the post of Arjun Suryakant Rawte's PA were in queue. After interviewing many Arjun was not satisfied with anyone.
"May I come in Sir?"
Arjun looked at the owner of the beautiful voice as her voice was soothing like music.
ARJUN:Come in.
She got inside.She had worn a cream sleeveless frock.Since she is an Anglo Indian, mostly she wears simple modern dresses.
Unknowingly he got attracted towards her.He found a hidden meaning in her eyes.He kept looking at her eyes.

ARJUN:You may sit now.
She sat.
ARJUN:Your good name?
She:Riya Rose Alexander.
ARJUN:Oh yaa...you are the one Adi recommended.Right?
Adi is Arjun's faithful employee.He is like his family member.
RIYA:Yes Sir.
ARJUN:Just because Adi recommended I can't appoint you.I want to be sure about your brilliance.

RIYA:Sure sir.I also want you to appoint me here only if you find me apt for this post.
ARJUN:Very good attitude Miss Riya Rose..Ok...tell me why you want to work here?
RIYA:A job is a necessity for me as our financial condition is weak.

ARJUN:Ok..I understand.But why did you choose Rawte constructions to work?
RIYA:Because I want a working atmosphere where I am safe and comfortable.I went for a couple of small jobs where the Boss behaved badly with me.I was scared.Adi bhaiyya who is almost like a neighbour assured me that here I won't have to face such bitter incidents.
ARJUN:Oh!So you are sure that I am decent?
Riya looked at his eyes slowly:I felt so seeing your eyes.
ARJUN:What is there in my eyes for you to think so?
RIYA:I saw purity in your eyes Sir.
He smiled:Ok ok..now let me check your knowledge.
He asked some questions.Riya answered almost all questions satisfying Arjun.
ARJUN:Excellent.Better than I expected.You are appointed as my PA Miss Riya Rose.You can join from tomorrow.
Riya was very happy:Thank you Sir.
Riya left his cabin.
Arjun called Adi.
ARJUN:Adi...a happy news.As you recommended I appointed Riya as my PA.
Adi was very happy:Thank you Sir.
ARJUN:But don't misunderstand that I appointed her on your recommendation.I really felt that she is capable for this job.As you know Arjun Suryakant Rawte always looks for perfection.

Arjun did not know why Riya's face haunted him through out the day.He wished to see her again.

The next day...
Riya came to join and Arjun was very happy to see her.
He thought:Why I feel so happy to see Riya?
Arjun introduced Riya to all of his staffs as his PA.Sasha who was his employee was shocked.Adi sniled at Riya wishing her all the best.
RIYA:Thank you so much Adi bhaiyya.
Adi:Don't thank me Riya.I have no role in getting you this job.I just suggested your name.That's it.Yiur talent got you this job.

Sasha entered Arjun's cabin.
S:Sorry to disturb you Sir.But I could'nt help myself.You have appointed Riya Rose without knowing anything about her.
Arjun got angry:Stop it.I appointed her on the basis of her potential.And who are you to question my choice?
S:Sorry Sir.But Riya Rose working here may even destroy our company's reputation.
ARJUN:What do you mean?
S:Riya Rose is immoral.If I say that openly she is a call girl.

Arjun could'nt bear anymore.She blasted at her:Sasha...you shut up.If you utter even one word dirty about Riya...
S:Sir..I am saying the truth.She belongs to my area.If you think I am lying..then enquire in her place.Everybody will say the same thing about her.
Sasha left the cabin.Arjun was numb for a moment.He was shattered.He was disturbed through out.

After some time Riya came and presented her work.Reading it he got angry and threw them at her.
ARJUN:What have you done?Is it for this poor work that I appointed you as my PA?If it goes like this I can fire you from this job in a few days.
She was shocked:I will lose my job?

ARJUN:Why not? Why should I keep a good for nothing employee here?Am I mad?

Riya could'nt bear it anymore.She burst into tears and left the room collecting the papers Arjun threw.
ARJUN:Get lost Riya.I don't want to see your face.
He showed her the exit:Get out.She was shattered.

Riya ran out crying.Seeing it Sasha smirked.Seeing her cry Adi entered Arjun's cabin.
Adi:What happened Arjun sir?Did you scold Riya?
ARJUN: Yes.
Adi:Why?
ARJUN:I did'nt like the way se did her work.
Adi:I had checked her work and i found it quite good.So I am sure that something else is bothering you.
Arjun was silent.
Adi:Arjun Sir...you always tell me that I am more like a family member for you.Then tell me what is disturbing you?
ARJUN:Riya is a dirty girl.
Adi:What?What do you mean?
ARJUN:I mean..she is bad.My dignity is not allowing me to use that word which others address her.
Adi:I am sure that it's Sasha who filled your ears with unnecessary things.I had seen her entering your cabin.
Arjun Sir...what others say may not be correct always.Should I teach that to an intelligent man like you?
ARJUN:Adi!
Adi:I know Riya very well.Riya is not bad as you think.She is innocent.

Seeing her face did you feel so?
Arjun remembered Riya's innocent eyes and cute smile.
ARJUN:Oh Adi...how could I be so rude to Riya listening to that nosy poker Sasha's words?I did a big mistake.
Adi:Good that at least now you realized your mistake.

Riya took her paper work and tried to tear it.Suddenly Arjun held her hand.
ARJUN:No need of tearing them.I want them.
Riya looked at him in disbelief.
ARJUN:What is this Riya?Just because I criticized your work you are going to tear them?So foolish you are!I want an intelligent PA,not a fool like you.
RIYA:Sorry Sir.I...
Arjun saw tears in her eyes.He gave her Hand kerchief.
ARJUN:Wipe your tears first.Rawte staffs do not cry.
Slowly she took it from her and wiped her wet eyes.
ARJUN:Actually your work was good.
Riya could'nt believe it:But you said...
ARJUN:I lied to test your mental strength.But you failed in your test Riya.You have no mental strength.
Riya could'nt believe it.
RIYA:I am so sorry Sir.
Arjun felt like laughing seeing her innocent look.
Adi watched it from behind and murmured: Still Arjun Sir's ego is not allowing him to apologize to Riya.But this is Arjun Sir's style.
Adi smiled.

Seeing Arjun Riya together Sasha fumed with irritation.Adi smiled seeing that.
Sasha went to Arjun's cabin.
S:Sir...you can't still believe what I said about Riya?
ARJUN:Sasha...we are here to work,not to discuss about anyone's personal life.I don't care about Riya's personal life.I just expect her excellence in the work here.And if you are continue gossiping I may have to take a drastic step by giving you a dismissal order.
Sasha was shocked:No Sir..
ARJUN:Then you may leave now.
Sasha left his cabin.Adi blinked his eyes at her to tease her.She got really angry.
