Arjun was sitting in his cabin twirling his pen in between of his fingers and was in deep thought. Yeah what's new about it? That's what Arjun Rawthe always does. But today something caught his mind.
Will they were solving the case today Sakshi said that girl are as strong as boys. Which remind him of one particular girl? Who use to say,
"Saab aurat ki kabilaat par shak nhi karna chaiye"
Riya, Riya Mukherjee. He still remembers the first time he met her during his undercover operation.
She was his partner and Crime Reporter and also a great ex CBI research specialist. He was initially shock to know that she was a part of CBI but then he never in starting days understood that way she left CBI. And when he comforted her regarding it he was shock.
"Saab Research is what i like to do; but crime reporter is what I'm passionate about. Bus aapne passion ko follow kar rahi ho just like you"
As he remember this a small smile broke on his face. He remembers her dimple smile, the way she was afraid of firing a gun. But she was still the best at her work.
And not only best at work but also best friend of Arjun. Year ago in the undercover mission when they first saw each other never in million years they thought they can get together after both hated each other's guts. But today both can't sleep without calling each other every night and telling what all had happen in there day. It was like both were each other's life line.
Suddenly his trains of thoughts were broken by his mobile rings. He looked at the caller ID and frown a little. She never calls during his office hours. He picks up the call and was greeted by her soft voice.
"Hey Jun! Are you busy?" Riya his best friend said. She knows that he hated being called Jun he always thought it was childish. But he let her call it she was indeed expectation.
"Nope" He said popping out the 'p', "Why? Any important work?" He asked
"Yeah Jun! There is a case. But can we meet and talk about it?" She asked
"Yeah sure! I will take leave from Rathod for rest of day. Where should we meet?" He said. He knew Riya was not kidding because in the work she was same like him. They never joke about work.
"In 30 minutes at the cafe near your office" she said
"Fine! I will be there see you soon Ri" he said and hang up and got up from his chair and exit his cabin.
He walked towards the conference room where Sameer, Aisha, Sakshi, Shree and Chotu were currently sitting. Sameer reading a file while rest of the chatting and doing there paper work.
He mentally rolled his eyes. It always irritates him when they chat. Because they always chatted on the most silly topics. But he never shouted on them. After all he knew with friends most silly topics can also be important topics.
He do's the same with Riya sometimes. And also with Sameer his once best friend. But that all changed after Roshni. Well that story is for some other time.
He entered the room and as soon as he entered the room got silent. He mentally laugh and thought "God they are so much afraid of me" but he kept an emotion else look on his face and looked towards his Sameer
"Rathod I need a leave, I have some important work to handle" He said rudely. All look at him with wide eyes Arjun and leave hard to digest.
But none the less Rathod granted the permission as there was no important case. As soon as Rathod granted the permission Arjun ran out of the office well not literally.

Arjun was waiting in the cafe for Riya. He did order a Tea for him and a Choco Frappe for Riya. Soon he saw a dimple smile girl walking towards him.
He got up from his seat and pulled her in bear hug. After all he is seeing her after 2 months. She had gone to Delhi for some case.
"Ri! How's you sweets?" He asked. He always loved to call he sweet there was two reason behind it first she was sweet girl and second she was Bengali and Bengali language is known as a sweet language.
She smiled at her nickname and said "I'm fine Jun and looking at you I can tell you are fine too" He just smiled and nod at her.
Soon there order was placed on the table and Riya was not surprise to see her Choco Frappe. It's always being the same from the time they become friends. Either Arjun will order her beverage or either Riya will order for him. It always depended who gets in first.
They both talked about their life for few minutes. "So Ri! What's up? What was the case you wanted to talk?" Arjun asked her.
"Oh yeah! Jun there is a case. Couple of weeks back I had got the information that in L A college some illegal work is going on. When I did few research I got to know that there are few people who are taking money and passing the student and failing some student only to make the student who gave money to get a seat" Riya said and Arjun nodded and told her to continue so she did, "There is a student name Santosh Ajwari he had been topper of his district but when he went to L A college he started getting to fail first two times he thought it might be his mistake but third time he was sure that he did great but he still got fail when he went to his teacher she said nothing and td him to go to principle and when he went to principle, the principle asked for 7 lakh grand's and being from low cast family he can't afford it and he attempt suicide but was saved on time. Like that the case cane to my attention. My friend Smita she did a sting operation on it. And got the clue and hand it over to police officer too. But from next day onwards she was missing and soon was found dead. It was a suicide but the officer whom she gave the evidence was sure that it was a murder and it's related to this college scandal. But the next day of Smita's death, The officer Vidya was also found dead and was named as suicide and the evidence are also gone missing. It believes that its murder just like Smita's because the way Smita and Vidya were hanged was same. But now as there is no evidence the case is still on hang" she said and looked at Arjun to judge what he was thinking. She never doubted him. She knew he was the best at his work.
"Hmm this sounds tricky the people who knew the people behind this scandal suddenly are found dead. Ri I too think its related to the scandal itself. In fact I'm sure it is. Did you talk to the student Santosh Ajwari?" Arjun asked as he processed every inch of the information.
"Not still. I took this case today itself I'm going to meet him tomorrow" Riya said sipping her coffee.
"Okay! And Ri who is handling this case?" Arjun again asked.
"Well till yesterday the local police had this case on but after two suicide/murder commissioner sir thought to transfer the case from local police to ETF which is your department. That's way I wanted to talk to you about this case first personally" Riya said.
"The case is hand hovering to ETF? But commissioner sir didn't call or talked about it?" Arjun said confusedly.
"Well yeah! Commissioner Sir is going to come to your office tomorrow to detail the things regarding the case and also to introduce a research specialist only for this case" Riya said with a small smile.
"A research specialist?" Arjun said sounding confuse to which Riya smiled more and suddenly Arjun eyes went wide open and his jaw dropped open and he looked at her in disbelief.
"Don't say what I'm thinking is true?" Arjun said sounding in utter disbelief.
"And what if I say it's true?" Riya asked with a massive grin plaster on her face.
"Oh God! This means after ages we are going to work together" Arjun said happily with a same grin as Riya
"Yup" Riya said popping the 'p'
"Oh I'm so excited to work together. Shit I can't believe it." He said.
"Well you have to believe it when tomorrow commissioner sir wills officially introduce me to your team" Riya said sound happy and continue, "I hope you are still the same at work Saab?" She winked at him playfully to which Arjun laughed as after ages she called him as Saab.
"You bet on it Sweets?" He said cockily and smirk at her.
They laughed and talked on the silly things and soon left the cafe to their respected home.
