Part-10 Devika smiled softly. "Tumhe jo bhi kitaab chahiye le lo." Suryakant replied, smiling. Devika nodded and lukd thru the racks for books of her intrest.. Later That Weekend.. Arjun was sitting in his comfortable recliner reading his current Favourite Book by Honda Rhines. Devika was sitting on the bed, Her back rested on the headrest of the bed.. She was reading a life-style magzine. Both were quiet.. Arjun glanced at her for one moment and concentrated back to reading his book. "Magzine acchi hai?" Arjun spoke, suddenly. Devika lukd at him once to make sure that he spoke to her.. "Hmm.." Devika replied in a monotone. "Accha? Toh phir magzine ulti kyun pakdi hai?" Arjun spoke, luking at her wid a small amused smile on his face.. Devika lukd down at the book on her lap. She hadnt even realised that she was reading it upside down. She corrected it quitely. Just then Arjun's phone rang announcing the arrival of the call. He lukd at the caller id..

He moved out of the room to attend the call. He picked it up. "Hii." Aratrika chirped from the other side. "Hello!" Arjun smiled as he sat down dipping his feet in the pool water. "Kya kar rhe the?" Aratrika asked. "Kuch khaas nhi.." Arjun replied. "Huff! Rawte! Tum bhi hadd ho! Weekend hai yaar..!! Aur tum ghar par baithe ho?" Aratrika spoke. Arjun chuckled, "Toh kya karna chahiye?" "Umm..Ek kaam karo! Mere ghar aa jao. Italian banaa rahi hunn! Tumhara favourite. Thodi gupshup kar lenge. Cool?" Aratrika suggested. "Cool!" Arjun replied and hung up. Aratrika kept her phone aside and stirred the sauce in the pan.. "Yeh kya kar rahi ho tum Aru?" Maya asked her daughter. "Kya kar diya maine Mumma?" Aratrika asked. "Tum jaanti ho Arjun ki nayi-nayi shaadi hui hai. Usse apni biwi ke saath waqt bitaana chahiye aur tum ho jo usse yahaan bulaa rhi ho." Maya spoke. Aratrika luked at her mother. "I Love Him! And I will not leave him! Waise bhi woh uss behenji ke saath khush nhi hai..!! Aur agar woh khush nhi hai toh

usse khush rakhna mera farz hai. Kissi bhi qeemat par main Arjun ko kabhi bhi uss Devika ka nhi hone dungi." Aratrika spoke wid a decisive look on her face. Maya lukd at her daughter worridly. Arjun moved inside.. Devika was still reading the magzine. Arjun picked up his car keys and walked out widout even glancing back at her.. Devika sighed and focused on reading the magzine. An Hour Later; Aratrika's House... Arjun, Aratrika and Maya sat at the dining table eating the Italian meal prepared by Aratrika. "Kaisa Hai?" Aratrika asked, hopefully. "Hmm.. Paasta accha toh hai. Par thoda teekha hai..!!" Arjun replied. "Rawte! Tum kabhi meri tareef nhi kar sakte na? Koi na koi kami toh tumhe nikalni hi hai." Aratrika complained. Arjun chuckled.."Ab aisa bhi kuch nhi..!! Tumhari tareef toh main karta rehta hunn yaar!" Arjun replied. "Haan! Haan! Accha yeh batao? Tumhari biwi kaisi hai?" Aratrika spoke, eating. "Waisi Hi.. Borringgg!" Arjun replied with a laugh. Aratrika laughed too..

"Arjun Beta? I think tumhe Devika ke baare mein aisa nhi bolna chahiye. Woh jaisi bhi hai, hai toh tumhari patni na? Aur mujhe yeh bhi lagta hai ki ab tumhe apna zyaada se zyaada waqt Devika ke saath bitaana chahiye." Maya spoke up. Arjun smiled in response and Aratrika lukd at her mother, irritated. Meanwhile... Devika's phone rang. She smiled luking at the Caller ID. It was Sugandha.. She picked it up. "Hello? Aatya? Kaisi hain aap?" Devika spoke. "Main theek hunn Bacche. Tum batao? Tum kaisi ho? Khush hona?" Sugandha replied. "Main theek hunn Aatya. Aur khush? Aisi shaadi ke baad koi khush reh sakta hai kya?" Devika replied. "Aisa kyun bol rhi ho Devika? Arjun ne tujhe apnaya nhi?" Sugandha spoke, a bit worried. "Apnana? Aatya unhone mujhe apna manaa hi kab tha? Hum dono ek chatth ke neeche rehte toh Zaroor hai. Par Ajnabiyon ke jaise!" Devika replied, quietly. "Bappa pe bharosa rakho Beta. Sab theek ho jayega." Sugandha assured her. "Accha zara meri Arjun se baat toh karvao."

"Woh yahaan nhi hai. Baahar gye hain." Devika told her. Both talked for sum few more minutes and hung up. "Devika?" She heard Suryakant calling her outside the door. "Jee Baba?" Devika opened the door. "Akele kamre mein kya kar rhi ho? Chalo aao baahar pool ke paas baithte hain." Suryakant suggested. Devika nodded and walked along wid him. Both sat down on the comfortable chairs.. "Ab main tumhe iss kitaab se ek bohot intresting chapter padhke sunnata hunn. Tum ek kaam karo, 2 Cup badhia si garam-garam coffee le aao! Theek Hai?" Suryakant spoke. "Jee!" Devika smiled and was about to get up when.. "Devika? Arjun aajkal office se late aata hai kya?" Suryakant asked her. Devika lukd down for a moment.. "Jee." She replied and walked towards the kitchen. Suryakant was worried.. What If Arjun-Devika never accepted each other?? What if they never fell in love. Later That Night..
