Part 32
After several weeks, Riya woke up from her comatose state.
She found Sam lying asleep beside her. She smiled and touched him gently.
Sam woke up and exclaimed, "Riya! You're finally awake.
I'll go call the doctor."
The doctor came and checked on her, "Congratulations.
You are out of your comatose state. Your fianc truly loves you."
Riya looked at him, confused, "Huh? What do you mean?"
The nurse wiped a tear away and said, "During the operation, your heart failed. We needed to give you a heart transplant immediately, but there was no donor available. Your fianc, Arjun, agreed to give you his heart without hesitation. That's how you survived."
Riya spluttered, "S-so he's?"
The nurse nodded sadly, "Dead."
Sam said with tears in his eyes, "Arjun told me not to tell you this, but I can't. You have the right to know."
So, Sam told Riya the truth.
After Riya heard this, she burst out crying painfully for hours.
After Riya finished crying, she wiped her tears away and smiled.
Sam asked, "Is something wrong?"
Riya smiled happily and sweetly, "Arjun is not dead. He gave me his heart. He'll always be alive in my heart."
Riya heard her (Arjun's) heart say, "I love you."
"True love is forever, unconditional, and sacrifice. Too many people think of their 'crush' as true love. True love only occurs once in a lifetime and not everyone is fortunate enough to experience it."

I know most of you will be complaining about the last part
But to keep in mind not all stories have a happy ending some
stories are ment to have a sad ending .
