Arjun was a brilliant cop & his specialty was to look beyond what is visible & Riya's face expression indicated that she was very tense some thing or the other was making her restless since that chase.
He didn't wanted to trouble Riya in any way so he thought of taking up this another time he went back to his cabin & started to dip his head in the case files as usual.
Riya seemed to have lost her coolness all of a sudden.
She could not even concentrate on her work today & everyone in the team was noticing it.
Shree, Chotu & Liza were constantly asking her what is the matter but everytime avoided it.
At last she managed to complete reports & started to leave but Shree, Liza, Chotu & Aisha stopped her seeing her lost state.
Shree said, "kya baat hai ri tu itna chup chup kyu hai kya hua hai ? jabse vaapis aayi hai bahut pareshaan hai kuch kaha hai kya samjhe ya samjhaoo ne?"
Riya nodded in negative & said, "nahi aise koi baat nahi Sir ne kuch nahi kaha, woh main khud hi thoda ajeeb feel kar rahi hoon isliye, main nikal rahi hoon ghar, bas rathore sir ke cabin main hi jaa rahi thi poochne "
Aisha said, "Riya humne isse pehle tumhe kabhi aise nahi dekha, aaj tum bahut pareshaan lag rahi thi isliye humne tum se poocha yadi koi baat ho toh humse keh sakti hoo tumhara mann shayad halka ho jaaye"
Riya smiled fairly & said, "nahi Aisha bas sab theek hai & thanks aap loog mujhe itna support karte hoo"
Aisha said, "tum aisa kyu keh rahi hoo Riya, waise mujhe bas aaj ke case ke baare main sooch ke ajeeb lag raha hai"
All looked at aisha in bit quizzical way
Aisha said with a smile, "guys main yeh sooch rahi thi ki jin ladkiyo ke saath ye sab haadsa hota hai unki poori life yeh society spoil kar deti hai, yeh kehke ki uski izzat chali gayi, aap khud soocho karta yeh sab koi aur hai aur iski saza bechari woh ladki saari zindgi bugatti hai, usse koi kuch nahi kehta zayada se zayada kanoon usko 7 saal ki saza suna deta hai, uske baad kya, iss halat main kya insaaf hota hai uss ladki ke saath? Aur sabse jayada toh had tab ho jaati hai jab jisne ye sab kiya hai ussi se ladki ki shadi kara dete hai, unke maa baap ko zara sa bhi nahi lagta ki uss ladki par pehle hi annayay ho chukka hai aur yeh sab karke woh usse aur badi pareshani main daal rahe hai"
Shree said, "Aisha tum sahi keh rahi hai yaar, Liza ne mujhe bataya tha maine khud uski body ki haalat dekhi hai totally inhuman hai or ri toh bechari behosh hi ho gayi thi & izzat bull shit, loog bhool jaate hai ki izzat ka sambandh sirf dil se hota hai, kal jo sadak pe chalta koi paagal jaanwar aapko ghayal kar de toh woh haadsa hota hai, kya usse aapki izzat chali jaati ? usse toh loog aapko sahanubhooti dete hai, they empathize with your pain but yaha toh ulta hota uske dard ko sab kisi na kisi bahane se khuredte rehte hai kabhi case, kabhi dates , kabhi gande sawaal ulta sab kuch uss ladki ko face karna padta hai, koi us aadmi ka jeena mushkil nahi karta jo yeh sab karta hai aur isse gunah karne waalo ko aur shai milti hai"
These all talks broke Riyas last thread of patience she just stood up banging a table & shouting in a high voice "just Stop it guys"
All looked at her with a surprise & Shree said, "Ri relax hum sirf baat kar rahe the "
Riya just muttered a sorry & left the room to pack her stuff & leave for the day & Shree & all others were watching her with surprise & Shree said "isse kya ho gaya ? abhi toh theek thi"
Arjun who was passing by heard Shree muttering & asked, "kise kya hua Shree?"
Shree saw Arjun & said, "woh kuch nahi sir aaj Riya kuch ajeeb sa behave kar rahi hai ek dum aise hi chali gayi"
Arjun asked, "Kaha gayi hai Riya?"
Shree said, "Rathore sir ke paas jaane ke liye poochne gayi hai"
Arjun nodded & entered Sameer's cabin Riya was about to leave when Arjun stopped her saying, "Riya tum ghar jaa rahi hoo kya ?"
Riya nodded & said, "ji sir kuch kaam hai kya?"
Arjun said, "nahi main tumhare ghar ki taraf kisi kaam se jaa raha hoon aao main tumhe chod deta hoon"
Sameer & Arjun passed meaningful glances to each other & Arjun left with Riya towards her house.
The drive was silent as Riya was disturbed & not in a mood to talk, Arjun called Riya politely & said, "Riya kya baat hai kya sooch rahi hoo?"
Riya replied, "woh kuch nahi sir bas aise hi"
Arjun said, "accha aise hi .. aise hi tum apne dosto par chilla padi, aise hi.. kabhi na chup rehne waali Riya achanak chup ho gayi, aise hi.. toh kuch nahi hota hai na Riya"
Riya looked at Arjun with surprise, she was searching for the right words, what to reply she just sighed & said, "Sir please aise sawaal mat kariye jinke jawaab main nahi de sakti, bahut si baate aur bahut si cheeze aap share nahi kar sakte, aap bhi toh Roshni Mam ki death ke baad jab tak aapne sikander ko nahi maara tha tab tak aur aaj bhi kissi se apna dard apne ehsaas nahi baante, chahe woh aapka dukh ho aapka khalipan ho ya fir koi kushi.."
Arjun looked at Riya with surprise & Riya said after a pause, "I am sorry sir shayad main zayada bol gayi, par kuch dard aur kuch baate aap nahi baat sakte jaise aapke liye roshni Mam se judi yaade aur dard khaas hai, waise hi sabki zindagi main kuch khass dard aur yaade hote hai"
Arjun didn't probed her further & after few minutes he dropped her at her apartment & she went to her flat muttering a soft thanks to him.
Arjun was thinking deeply that something big must have shook Riya inside today as she had never behaved like this, more over her deep talks about pain indicated that she was hiding a big scar inside her heart & that is making her restless altogether.
His thoughts were broken by a shrill scream of Riya.
Next second he clutched his gun & went to her apartment, he saw a guy in late twenties struggling with Riya & Arjun was baffled a bit, Riya was hitting him hard with full force.
Riya with a jeark pushed him away & that man bumbed into Arjun.
Arjun clutched his neck & said "Koi harkat mat karna warna zinda nahi bachoge"
