PART 16 A

Few months rolled by & ariya came closer to each other by passing time. Arjun & riya became more comfortable with each other & also became an inseparable part of each other life. They use to spend time with each other often as they had find solace in their loneliness life a friend, a companion with whom they can share all their joys & sorrows of life but love has to still find its way in their hearts or you can say already made a place in their hearts both none of them were recognizing it. It was the seventh month that ariya were spending together & only one month was left according to the proceedings both were restless about the decision & were hesitant about this discussion as arjun wanted that riya should think with the free mind & Riya too wanted as she knew that he loved roshni & accepting her as wife in all rights was not easyfor him too. What they needed was a realization & God too have same plans for them.

It was a normal day in ETF when arjun got the news that his father is seriously ill although he wanted to see him but somewhere his ego & deeds of his father stopped him. Riya came to know from arjuns informer that Mr Suryakant Rawte is not well she decided to break this wall between father & son. She went to arjuns house it was big bunglow in Mumbai itself RAWTE MANSION.

She went to his house to speak to arjuns father who was in a weak state waiting for his death but his EGO & his stubbornness was the same. As Riya entered the mansion guard stopped her & she told him to tell Mr. rawte that she was here to meet him.

Mr Rawte was also aware of arjuns life & he knew that riya is his daughter-in-law. She entered the room & saw mr Suryakant rawte lying on the bed in a weak state she came near n touched his feet & he blessed her & said "kya dekhne aayi ho tum yaha? Tumhare pati ne to tumhe bata hi diya hoga mere baare main aur meri zidd ke baare main"

she said "wo mere pati hai par aapke to bte hai na aur ek baat batau aap dono zidd main ek jaise hai isliye main ye kehne aayi thi ki aap dono zidd chod dijiye main bas aap logo ko saath dekhna chahti hoon aur ye bhi jaanti ki aap apne bte se bahut pyar karte hai aur app bade hai chote koi galti kare to aapko maaf kar dena chahiye"

Suryakant looked at her & said "Tum apne pati ki vakalat karne aayi hoo?"

Riya said "Nahin bas ye kehne aayi hoon jaisa aap unke bina feel kar rahe hai wo bhi aapko bahut miss karte hai aur aisa he feel karte hai par aap dono main se koi bhi pehla kadam uthaneko tayyiyaar nahin hai"

Suryakant replied arrogantly"haan wo ziddi hai to zidd main main uska baap hoon"

riya said "please aap ye zidd chod dijiye na aapke liye aur aapke bte ke liye"

Suryakant said "Chalo yadi main zidd chod deta hoon to tumhara to bahut fayda hai isme itne bade pariwaar ki bahu saare aish or aaram dhan daulat sab kuch hoga shayad tabhi yaha aayi hoo"

Riya replied calmly "aap yadi ye jaante hai to ye bhi jaante honge ki aapke bte ne aur maine kin haalat main shadi ki hai aur aapko ye bhi pata hoga ki humne divorce ke liye bhi apply kiya hai main arjun sir ki bahut respect karti hoon aur unko main aise akela nahin dekhna chahti mujhe nahin pata hai ki humare rishte ka bhavishya kya hoga par shayad aap apne bte se apne rishte to sudhaar hi sakte hai aur sirf ek mahine ki baat hai fir shayad arjun sir khud hi mujhse rishta tood denge to aapko koi problem nahin hogi"

suryakant replied back "yadi aisa nahin hua to?"

Riya was surprised at his question but calmed herself & said "to main khud chali jaaungi unki zindagi se main aapse waada karti hoon main unki kushi chahti hoon aur kuch nahin baaki aap khud samajhdaar hai" with that she walked off the house & went back to her ETF offfice but as arjun was out for some investigation he cought her coming out of his house he got bit surprised seeing her there.

He wanted to ask her but he didn't ask as it was public place & he wanted to ask her calmly everything. So he let it go for now & decided to talk to her at home. After the day was called off ariya reached back home & after changing he asked riya "riya aaj tum 4 baje varsova main kya kar rahi thi? Maine tumhe dekha tha waha"

riya made an excuse saying "wo ..kuch nahin bas mere ek dost se milne gayithi main shayad aapne wahi dekha hoga"

arjun was now sure that riya is upto something serious as he had seen her coming out of his bunglow & why she was hiding the fact that she went to his place he was confused but he knew well that it was something deep & he is not aware of the whole matter.

Here riya was feeling guilty that she didn't told him the truth but she knew well that this father son reunion is not that easy in her mind she was thinking that atleast once they come face to face it will solve most of the problems even she was bit uncertain abut the mr suryakant rawte arrival as she knew how stubborn & egoistic he is but one thing was sure that he loved his only son a lot & that will surely bring him back in these few days & after that she can relax as arjun will not be alone he will have is father by his side & regarding her she had made up her mind to leave this as soon as his father arrives as she had promised to him. She was thinking that if arjun wanted to take this relation forward he would have told her about this or rather given her a small hint about it & she knew well that arjuns love for roshni will never die but she didn't knew that she had already made a special place in his heart.

Here Mr Suryakant Rawte after talking to riya asked his trusted pals to find out the exact details about this girl thou he only knew that she was arjuns colleague & in a mission lost her mental stability & to save her arjun married her. After a while his sources gave him news that this girl Riya Mukherjee & now Riya arjun rawte is a daughter of late.genral Subhash Mukherjee & Shubha mukherjee.

She is from a middle class family back ground her father died during an operation at Sikkim border when she was just 15 yesrs. Her mother was a house wife who died 11 months ago when she was in mental hospital she was working with ETF since 3 years now & had joined IPS 4 years back n 1 year she was at the research desk & after that she joined ETF as research analyst & was active in field works all the ETF members love her a lot she was the first girl in ETF so is the apple of everyones eye. She is bold, courageous & bit emotional girl. Mr Suryakant rawte checked the entire data of riya & after he was satisfied with all the information he asked his servent to call his family lawyer as he wants to meet him urgently.

Next hour their family Lawyer was standing in front of Mr. Rawte & he instructed him to do some amendments in his old will & soon get it signed by him & also ordered his servants that he will go & meet his son tomorrow morning so he need to make the arrangements accordingly.

PART 16 B

After a while when all arrangements were made & Mr Rawte was satisfied by all he fell asleep after that.

Here Arjun & riya both had a sleepless night arjun was bit confused about riyas behavior & riya too was feeling bad that she is hiding this from him but it was all for the good & she knew arjun well he will not patch up with his father if he is not going to be pushed a bit as his ego & stubbornness was as high as his father. Thou she didn't wanted to part from Arjun but it was all for the happiness of both as forced relationship will not give happiness to anyone but she wanted that arjun should patchup with his father as she wanted someone by his side & only one left was his father but question which pondered in her mind was that all that closeness & feeling that she felt when she was near arjun were true ? that unknown emotions which she could feel & had seen in arjuns eyes as well was only figment of her imagination only or might be she was thinking too much but her restless self & impatient heart were enough to prove that she wanted Arjun by her side & didn't want to break this relationship.

Here Arjun was thinking that he why always things get messed up with him he had accepted riya as his wife then all this sudden divorce thing happened & when they got time to know each other & when every thing seemed to be at place now riya is upto some thing secret.Both wanted to sleep but could not.

Next morning Riya had gone to freshup & Arjun was sipping his tea in the room when sumitra entered the room to call him for breakfast. She said "Arjun chal jaldi tayyiyaar ho ja main nashta lagane waali hoon aur riya ko bhi bula loo"

Arjun was so lost in the thoughts that he didn't reply sumitra said in a bit loud tone "Arjun kahah khoya hai beta?"

arjun came out of his trance & said "kuch nahin kaki main aap chaliye main bula deta hoon"

Sumitra saw his face & said "tu pareshaan kyu hai kuch hua hai kya kal se dekh rahi hoon kya baat hai?"

Arjun said "Kuch nahin kaki kal kuch aisa hua jiski vajah se main pareshaan hoon" & told sumitra everything.

Sumitra said "Arjun tumne usse poocha?"

he replied "Haan kaki poocha tha par usne bataya nahin bas ye kahah ki wo apne dost se milne gayi thi pata nahin riya kya chahti hai main jabbhi usse baat karne ki ya sort out karne ki koshish karta hoon sab gadbad ho jaya ha"

sumitra said "tum pareshaan mat hoo sab theek ho jaayega aur riya koi galat kadam nahin uthayegi"

Arjun replied "kaki main riya ko bhi jaanta hoon aur baba ko bhi ye sab theek nahin hai riya jis taraha se baat taal gayi mujhe bahut ajeeb laga aur isliye main pareshaan hoon" Sumitra nodded & said "tum do teen din ruko tumhe khud pata chal jaayega aur hum sab riya ko sambhaal lenge" Arjun smiled at sumitra n saw riya coming out after having a bath. Riya smiled & wished sumitra by touching her feet & she blessed her.

Suddenly shrill car horn of a big Honda city stopped thir conversation. It stopped near the house of Arjun & Mr Suryakant Rawte came out from the car with a stick in his hand as he was weak enough to walk without support. As soon as he came out of the car Arjun was a bit stunned to see him there. He just stood like a statue & said with a stunned voice "Baba aap yaha?"

Mr suryakant rawte smiled at his reaction n said "Haan main aur apne baba ko ghar ke ander bhi nahin aane dega kya?"

Arjun was getting shocks after shocks he never expected his baba to talk to him so calmly & also his presence was not more than a surprise for him all settled in the main hall & Mr suryakant Rawte broke the silence & said "Arjun beta tum yahi soch rahe hoo ki main yaha kaise aagaya to kal riya riya mujhse milne aayi thi wo chahti thi ki humare beech ke diwaar khatam ho jaaye aur meri aisi haalat hai to main bhi ab apne baccho se door nahin rehna chata main tumhe le jaane aaya hoon kya apne baba ko maaf nahin karoge?"

arjun was bit stunned & it was a pleasant surprise for him he hugged his father & said "I am sorry baba meri zidd ki vajah se aapbhi dukhi hue aur main bhi"

his father said "zidd bhi to tujhe mujhse mili hai"

Arjun smiled at this & then suryakant rawte with a stern voice said "dekho beta main sirf tumhe lene aaya hoon ye ladki riya hamare saath nahin aa sakti aur main kisis aisi ladki ko apni bahu nahin maan sakta Rawte khandaan ki bahu nahin hai ye aur tumne bhi to majboori main isse shadi ki hai waise bhi tumhara talaak hone main zayada din nahin hai main chahta hoon kitum mere saath chalo"

hearing this Arjun in a annoyed tone replied "Baba aap kya keh rahe hai riya meri patni hai aur aapki bahu hai aur aap chahne ya na chahne se ye sach badal nahin jaayega aur aapko riya ka apmaan karne ka aur uska dil dukhate ka koi adhikaar nahin hai"

Suryakant rawte with a smirk "accha tumne to khud majboori main ye rishta joda tha aur tum to use khud talaak dene waale hoo aur riya ne mujhse kaha bhi tha ki wo khud chali jaayegi"

Arjun looked at riya with shocked face & said "Riya baba kya keh rahe hai aur ye sab kya hai?

" Riya said "main bas uncle ko aur aapko saath dekhna chahti thi aur phir waise bhi aapne ye rishta majboori main joda tha to theek yahi hoga ki .."

before she could complete Arjun yelled "majboori Riya kya hum saath ye 7 mahine majboori main rahe the kyatum nahin chahti thi us rishte ko mauka dena aur yadi nahin to kyu rahi mere saath mujhe chod kar jane ke liye"

Riya had tears in her eyes & Arjun continued saying "bolo riya aur baba ki batein sunkar tum ekpal main sab chod kar jaane ko tayyiyaar ho hgayi kya jatana chahti hootum kitum kitni mahaan hoo main aaj tak chup tha kyuki mujhe laga tha ki tumhe samajhne main waqt lagega aur main khud tumhe force nahin karna chahta tha par aaj sach main tumne mera dil bahut dukhaya hai riya"

riya said in a choaked voice "aapne aaj tak ye haqq kyu nahin jataya arjun? Main khud chahti thi is rishte ko nibhana par aapne kabhi aisa kuch nahin kaha tu batayiye main kya karti" saying this tears started flowing her cheeks.

Arjun now said to his father "baba main aapke saath tabhi aaunga jab aap riya ko apnayenge aur riya mujhse alag nahin hogi main kal jaa ke ye divorce case wapis le raha hoon"

Suryakant had a smirk on his lips & he said to arjun "shabaash beta main yahi sunna chahta tha"

arjun was bit surprised n suryakant said "beta is bacchi ne to mere paas aake tumhare liye apna pyar sabit kar diya par pareeksha to tumhari honi thi aur main kush hoon ki tum dono itna pyar karte hoo ek dusre se" both were bit surprise & Suryakant rawte forwarded his will to arjun in which Arjun was having all the rights along with riya. Arjun was surprised & hugged his father & he too hugs him back.

All were happy as everything settled down. Suryakant thanked Sumitra & jayantilal too who entered a bit later for taking care of their son & daughter-in-law.

Sumitra said "bhai saab ye bacche hamare bhi hai arjun ne bhi hmae tab sahara diya jab hamare bacche hame thukra ke chale gaye"

Suryakant said "Haan behenji shayad ahankaar insaan ko andha kar deta hai mere saath bhi aisa hua tha" With that Suryakant took leave & asked ariya to come & stay at their own house from tomorrow as he had ordered to arrange a new beautiful room for his son & daughter in law from his house.

He also approached jayantilal & sumitra to accept the position of trustees in his trust who helps poor & old people & as jayantilal was businessman so suryakant asked him to help him in his business which he accepted with a small amout of share which he will invest from his own savings & property.

Suryakant took leave blesiing his son & daughter inlaw & thanking Mrs. & Mr. Joshi with bottom of his heart. Sumitra & jayanti lal got bit emotional & said "tum log chale jaaoge to hum bahut miss karronge tum dono ko"

Arjun said "Kaki hum dosre desh nahin jaa rahe Mumbai main hi hai aap jab chahe humse milne aa sakti hai ya fir aap bhi hamare ghar ke paas shift ho jaayiye zayada accha hoga"

Sumitra said "Haan padoss main rehta tha to main khud aati thi apne ghar jaayega to bhool hi jaayega hame"

Arjun hugged sumitra & said "Kaki aapko main kaise bhool sakta hoon aur aap bhi hamare saath challenge hamari nayi zindgi aapke aashirwaad se hi shuru honi chahiye" Sumitra & jayantilal leave after brief chat with ariya.

Later Riya start packing the stuff & started arranging things when arjun came & hugged her from back & placed his chin on her nape. Feeling his touch a chill shiver ran down her entire body & she closed her eyes.

Arjun said in a soft voice "kya hua riya aaj haq jataya to tum aankhen chura rahi hoo"smiled shyly & Arjun turned herface towards him & looked at the effect of his closeness & smiled at her & then hugged her saying "Thanks riya aaj tumhari vajah se mujhe mera parivaar waapis mil gaya shayad tum koshish na karti to ye sab na hota"

riya smiled & said "thanks ki zarrorat nahin hai main bas chahti thi ki mere jaane se pehle aapki aur aapke baba ke beech sulah ho jaaye"

Arjun silenced her putting his index figure on his lips n said "Ssshh- fir kabhi jaane ki bat mat karna" n hugged her again.

Next morning they left for RAWTE MANSION & after reaching there Suryakant Rawte welcomed his children with open arms & allotted them a master room of his house. He also showed Riya his childhood room he had preserved all his childhood memories. Later in the night when riya entered her her room arjun was waiting for him she smiled & went to change in something casual she walked out wearing a sleeveless nightgown with a bit low cut neck. She came to dressing table & starts combing her messed up hairs when arjun held her from back & kissed her nape. She gasped when his hand clutched her waist & started making random designs there & his lips started tracing her sensitive skin of neck throat & cleaveneges. Then Arjun kissed her lips gently & whispered in her ears "Aaj hamari koshish Poori hui riya ab aaj se hamari nayi zindagi ki shuruaat hoti hai"

she shyly nodded & arjun scooped her into his arms & placed her on bed. He lay beside her & started to trace her slender frame first with his fingers n then with her lips making her his wife in all ways but making sure he is not forcing himself on her but a shy smile on her lips proved that she too wanted him & together they start their journey of a beautiful life ahead.

After few months jayantilal & sumitra became family of ariya & Suryakant. Jayantilal excelled the business of suryakant too as partners & they had bought a new house near RAWTE Mansion so that they can meet ariya & mr suryakant often.

Suddenly one morning sumitras children kedar & Vijay along with their wives bhairvi & Krishna knock the door sumitra was shocked to see them they were standing with apologetic face sumitra said "ab kya lene aaye ho yaha ab kuch nahin hai humare paas tumhe dene ke liye aashirwaad bhi nahin"

kedar said "Maa please hume apni galti ka ehsaas ho gaya hai aur maa to sab maaf kar deti hai uska dil bahut bada hota hai"

sumitra said "Haan shayad ek maa hone ke naate main apne khoon ko maaf kar doon par patni hone ke naate apne pati ke annsuo ko maaf nahin kar sakti jo tumne unhe diye hai kal ka to pata nahin par aaj mere paas maafi bhi nahin hai dene ke liye"

kedaar & vijay understood their faults & hearing voices jayantilal too came out & saw his both sons & he said to sumitra "ye yahah kya kar rahe hai sumitra inke liye to hum mar chuke the na ab kya karne aaye hai ye yaha"

Sumitra said "Maafi mangne aayehai"

jayantilal said "accha maafi kya maafi ke layak kaam hai inke?"

By that time suryakant & ariya to have arrived & saw them indulged in arguments with someone & looking at their faces they recognized them as sons of jayantilal & sumitra. Arjun ,riya & suryakant went to them & arjun said to sumitra "kaki kya baat hai?"

sumitra couldn't control her tears & kedar said "arjun bhai.."

arjun said "meharbaani hogi ki tum mujhse koi rishta mat banao jinke saath khoon ka rishta hai unko to tumne khoon ke aansoo rono ke liye chod diya sharam aani chahiye tum kaka kaki ke bacche na hote to.."

sumitra cutting him short "Arjun beta plese kuch mat kaho koi zaroorat nahin hai"

Vijay said "Maa aap theek keh rahi hai hume maafi nahin milni chahiye humse jo galti hui hai wo sudhari nahi jaa sakti us din jab mere bete nain mujhe waise hi palat ke jawaab diya aur kaha ki aap bhi to dada dadi se aise hi baat karte the tab hame ehsaas hua ki humne kya galti ki haihame maaf kar dijiye please" saying this vijay & kedar fall on sumitra & jayantilal feets & start crying. Sumitra & jayantilal hugged them & forgive them too.
