CHAPTER 7:
Anita emarged from the crowd and shouted again.
Anita: Stop it. Yeh shadi nehi ho sakti.
Arjun and Riya got up from their place and went down. Mr. Mukharjee and Mr. rawte came forward.
Mr. Rawte: Aap koun?
Anita: Main koun hoom yeh janna jarori nehi hai. Kya aap yeh jante hai ki jiss ladki se aap apne bete ki shadi karwa rahe hai woh ladki bol nehi sakti.
Mr. Rawte: Tumse maatlab?
Anita was a bit taken aback. She didn't except him to react like this. So, she went to Arjun who started boiling in anger.
Anita: Yes Mr. Arjun I am telling the truth. Riya bol nehi sakti. Main usse college ke dino se janti hoom. Aapke saath dhoka hua hai. Aapko ek gungi ladki se shadi karwaya ja raha tha. Thank god main waqt pe pouch gya. I can understand aap pe kya beet rahi hogi. Iss tarah ki ladki ki haisyat hi hoti aisi hai. Koi accha ladka to milega nehi. Dhoke se dusroko apni khubsurti ki jaal mein fasati hai.
Riya felt like crying. Arjun couldn't hold back anymore.
Arjun: Aapki tareef?
Anita: Anita Khanna.
Arjun: Miss Anita Khanna. Shukar manaye ki main ladkio pe haat nehi uthata. Warna woh jubaan mein kheech leta jisse apne meri Riya ke bade mein ulta seedha batane ki himmat ki. Aap usske character pe keechar uchal rahi thi na? To sunye. Mujhe ekdam pehle se hi pata tha ki meri Riya bol nehi sakti. Mere saath koi dhoka nehi hua. Bina bole hi meri Riya mujhe sabkuch keh jati hai. Woh to phoolo ki tarah masoom hai. Usse kisi ko apne jallo mein phasane ki jarrorat nehi hai. Woh itni acchi hai ki jo ekbar usse jane ussiko usse lagaav ho jaye. Jaloo mein phasana to aap jaisi ladki ka kaam hai. Arre jiski soch itni gandi ho sakti hai usski nyat kitni gandi hogi.
Anita burst into anger. Nothing turned out the way she expect to be. She came here to insult Riya but instead get insulted herself. She stamped her feet in anger and turned at Tisha who was standing with lower eyes.
Anita: Chalo Tisha. Waise bhi haame kya agar koi jaan buujh ke apna jindegi kharab karna chahe to.
Tisha raised her head and looked directly at Anita's eyes.
Tisha: Nehi Anita. Tum khud jao. Main yaha apne dost ki shadi pe ayi hoom aur usse best wishes dye bina nehi javvungi.
Anita stood there wide eyes.
Anita: Tum bhi isski jaal mein andhi ho gyi?
Tisha: Nope. Andhi to main pehle thi. Jo tumse dosti karli. Hitten se shadi karne ke baad meri aankh khuli. Kitni pagal thi main. Tum kya jano ki pyar kya hota hai? Arre pyar to uss dua ka naam hai jo bade se bade mushkil ko bhi asaan bana deta hai. Pyar ka rang itna bright hai ki usske age dunya ki haar ek rang feeki paar jati hai. Abhi bhi waqt hai Anita. Samajh jao. Warna kahi aisa na ho ki baad mein tum chah kar bhi kisi ko apna na bana pao.
Anita: Mujhe insab fujul ki baato mein koi interest nehi. Rehna hai to raho tum. Main chali.
Anita went away from there in anger. Tisha turned around and joined her palm infront of everyone.
Tisha: I am really sorry. Yeh sara tamasha meri waja se hua. Main aap sabse maafi mangta hoom.
Riya came forward and hold her hand. She nodded no and wiped out Tisha's tears. Then Tisha hugged her and Riya hugged her back.
Arjun came forward and placed his palm in Riya's back. Tisha let her go.
Tisha: Shadi mubarak ho Riya.
Riya nodded while Arjun said thanks. Party came to full mood again.
Arjun and Riya took elders blessing. They hugged their friends and cousins.
Aisha was really happy now. After witnessing Arjun's love moreover hearing what Tisha said Aisha understood her mistake. She blessed them with her full heart.
The time of bidaai came. Riya was crying uncrontolably. Mr. Mujharjee also got tears in his eyes.
Mr. Mujharjee: Ro maath beti. Tujhe to khush hona chahye. Tujhe ek maa mil gyi. Waha tu bohot khush rahegi.
They were about to leave when they noticed the maid Rukmini stood there with bag.
Mr. Mukharjee: Rukmini? Tum kaha ja rahe ho?
Rukmini: Mujhe Baby ji ke saath jana hai. Baby ji ke bina main yaha kaise rahungi? Mujhe bhi unnke saath jana hai.
They all laughed but took Rukmini with them. They reached Rawte house at time. Jaya made Riya fullfilled all tha rasam. Then she took her to Arjun's room.
Riya was sitting in the bed and thinking what Anita said. What Tisha said and Arjun's response. Then she blushed remembering her cousins teasing.
After sometime Arjun entered. He slowly went to her and sat infront of her. She look breath taking when she blushed. He slowly caressed her cheek. He knew she was new to this so decided to take things slowly.
Arjun: Riya aaj haam ek ho gye. Kya tum iss rishte ko puri tarahse nibhane ke lye tyar ho?
Riya lowered her eyes and nodded. Arjun smiled and hugged her tightly and dimmed the light.

Tweenty years passed away. Arjun was sitting in the porch. Riya was walking in the garden with Rukmini. When they heard the sound of car. Agni and Angna get down from the car. Their son and daughter. They are twins. They ran to Riya and hugged her tightly. Then they started fighting. Both of them want to tell Riya about their day first. Arjun smiled. He doesn't regret his decision. Riya is best the life partner he ever could have and the best mother children could ever have. She is their light and guide. Their best friend. And they are happy to get her in their life.
