CHAPTER 6:
Anita was sitting in the sofa reading newspaper. She is 24 years old. She live in mumbai alone and her parents live in Delhi. She is the only children of her parents so from the very childhood she always got she wanted. By now she became a self centered spoiled brat. She was thinking about her day when door bell ranged. She sat where she was ahile maid open the door. It was her only friend Tisha who is also like her.
Anita: Hi Tisha. Kaisi ho?
Tisha: Main thik hoom. Tum kaisi ho?
Anita: Main bhi thik hoom. Tum India waoas kaab ayi? Last jab baat hui tum apne husband ke saath honeymoon pe gyi thi.
Tisha: Bas parsu hi ayi. But ate hi aisa news mila ki tumhare paas chali ayi.
Anita: Kaisa news?
Tisha: Woh Riya Mukherjee yaad hai tumhe?
Anita: Usse main kaise bhool sakti hoom.
How could she forget that Sakshi Anand. While in college she was the queen. Every boy used to wander around her. Everywhere they used to talk about her just her. But when Riya Mukherjee get enrolled in college all attention went to her. She only used to come to give exams. Thought she is dumb everybody start talking about her. How beautiful she is. How honest and kind lookin girl she is. BLAH BLAH BLAH. She ruined Anita's reputation.
Anita: Uss Riya kei baat kiyu kar rahi ho?
Tisha: Aaj sham usski shadi hai. Poocho kisse?
Anita: Hoga kisi se bhi. Mujhe kya? Waise bhi usse koi accha khandan ka ladka to apnyega nehi.
Tisha: Usski shadi ACP Arjun Rawte se hone ja rahi hai.
Anita: Kya?
Arjun Rawte is Anita's all time crush. She always dreamt of marrying him Hell, she didn't get the chance to meet him once and that girl is marrying him. No way. She won't let it happen.
Anita: Akhir Arjun jaisa ladka usse shadi kaise kar sakta hai. Shyed usse Riya ki disability ke bare mein nehi pata.
Tisha: To phir chalo haam Arjun ke number collect karte hai aur usse sab bata dete hai.
Anita: Nehi nehi. Itni jaldi kya hai? Shadi shamko hai na? Haam seedha mandap pe jyenge. Arjun ko saab kuch sach sach batyenge. Woh bilkul toot jyega. Phir main usse sahara dungi. Phir ussi mandap mein uss Riya ki ankho ke samne ussiki hone wale pati se mein shadi karrongi.
Tisha's face paled. She was also a self centered girl. But after marrying Hitten she came to know about the beauty of kindness. The peace of making other people happy. She just wanted to tell Anita about the marriage and warn Arjun about the reality. But crashing someone's marriage and then the plan Anita is making is hedious. What has she done?

Everybody is busy. They have a lot of preparation left. Aisha is also busy in work. At first she stood against the marriage. She want to see Arjun happy. But marrying a disable girl.. Who will never call him, who will never talk to him was not exactly what she wanted. She even tried to tell this to Arjun but he brushed her off saying that he want to marry Riya only.
Time went by as evening came. Riya was sititng in her room. Her cousins were sitting around her. They all were teasing her. She was blushing furiously. She was wearing a beautiful maroon colored lahenga. Her hair was tied up in a braid. Jwelery made of gold, daimond and other expensive stones. Hands full of bangles. She was looking like an angel fallen from heaven.
By the time groom came. They took her downstairs and made her sit beside her. She was feeling so shy that she could even looked up to see him.

Anita was driving the car and Tisha was beside her. Anita was trying to drive the car as fast as she can. They got stuck in traffic jam and thus they got late. Tisha was praying to her God to stop Anita. So, she would fail to ruin the marriage. She was cursing herself repeatedly. It was her fault that Anita got the news of the marriage. Now, she just can pray and that's what she is doing.

Arjun's eyes were glued to her. She was looking breathtaking. He took hold of her hand and whispered in her ears.
Arjun: Kya baat hai? Ekbaar haame dekhenge bhi nehi? Haamre ankhe to taras gye the aapko dekhne ke lye.
Riya looked up at him once then lowered her eyes in shyness. Arjun smiled. He was looking devilishly handsome.
Pandit ji's voice bring them back to earth.One by one they performed all the rituals. They took phere aslo. Now it was time to put sindoor and mangalsutra. Arjun took a pinch of red vermilion and put it in her parting. Riya closed her eyes to savour the moment. Then Arjun put mangalsutra around Riya's neck.
Pandit ji: Yeh vivah sampann hua. Aab aap dono pati patni hue.
Everybody clapped their hand when they heard a girl shouting.
Girl: Stop it. I said stop it.
