hey guys im back...so it took me 2 months to actually pen down this amazing idea down. in fact i have already posted it on wattpad. but i thought i would share it with you guys...so basically in this story arjun has no past of roshni and sameer and arjun are best friends and they live together in an apartment...

there are some parts in the story (mainly towards the end) which make you cry...well i cried...
"sakshi" the doctor looked up at me with his eyes filled with grief. and at that point i knew it wasnt good news. i gripped onto my fathers hand as tight as i could and forced myself to remain calm...
"the... reports are back...and im sorry but its not good... you have stage 2 cancer...brain tumor actually...im sorry there is nothing we can do..."
i just sat there staring into space. unlike my father, i wasnt even crying.
"its ok beti...you will get through this i know you will... you are a fighter..." dad replied his eyes brimming with tears.
the doctor shook his head. "im sorry... your gonna need a miracle to survive... "
"how long?" i asked. i didnt eleborate. i didnt need to.
"2 weeks, maybe less.."
and thats when it hit me. 2 weeks left of my life, half which will be spent at hospital. i cant get married, have kids...
i broke down. the tears just wouldnt stop...unlike my life...
"sakshi..." i cut off my dad with a big hug silently sobbing into his Tshirt. first mum and now.. me.
i was going to die... and for some strange reason... i was ok with it...

i gulped down the rest of my cereal and stomped my way upstairs into sameer's room. i smiled and pushed the door. sam was sleeping so i shook his shoulder. he didnt wake up. i removed his duvet... he didnt wake up. a smile spread across my face as i reached for his teddy and pulled it out of his grasp.
his eyes snapped open and he lunged right at me. we both lay on the floor in a heap and laughed.
sam stopped and said "right lets get ready..we need to meet comissioners daughter.."
"why?" well i knew very well why, when, who. but i didnt show it.
"because she has cancer...remember? her dad said it was always her dream to meet us so we are going over there. and dont pretend. i know you LIKE her." he smirked.
i smiled and blushed "hey i cant help it if she is hot"
"well you shouldnt fancy a girl with cancer, i mean, what if she dies? sameer asked.
i cant believe he just said that. "sam! dont say that. im sure she will be fine...now lets go...otherwise we will be late.
we stepped off the train at the busy station full of bustling people and made our way through the station till we were out on the streets. while we walked, without saying a word, i stuck my hand in my pocket and pulled out the print of the email commissioner sir sent us. i unfolded it and read it through, even though ive read it many times before.

my fist adopted daughter has been detected of cancer. she is a huge fan of you two and consider you her hero and insperation. she never stops talking about you and her life revolves around you two.
theres just one problem. she probably wont make it through and only has 2 weeks max left to live. so before she leaves for heaven to meet her mother, i would like to make her last wish come true. she want to meet you. so if you could come to our place tommorow at 11:00 then it would mean alot to her.

"gazing at the letter again?" sameer asked. "arjun you have only known her for a month. and she wasnt there, sir only showed us a picture of her."
"so? she is still pretty."
by now we had reached her door and my hand automaticly found its way to the doorbell.
we stood there and waited untill the door opened and my breath got stuck.
there she stood in black skinny jeans and a white kurta with a red duppata. she looked stunning. she slowly raised her face and we gazed into each others eyes trying to read each others emotion. i found love, respect, care in hers.
we came back to our senses when sameer coughed. sakshi quickly looked away and stared at sameer. she smiled and quickly hugged us. "i cant believe im meeting you. you are my hero!" she let go and gestured to the door. "come on in."
we smiled and stepped in. "where is you dad?" i asked confused.
"oh he left for hospital to fill in some information. i have to spend the remaining week in hospital so he is just making sure." she said with a sad smile on her face. i nodded but sameer was looking else where.
"sakshi? sakshi kumari anand? he asked confused.
she smiled and said. "you looked at the school picture didnt you?"
i looked at them confused. "what school picture?"
"i went to college with you. well you were one year ahead. i was the girl who saved you from that lake." she said blushing.
i looked at her, shoked. i remember that day like it was yesterday. some kid accidently knocked me into the lake. unfortunately i couldnt swim so i started drowning. i would have died to if this sweet looking girl hadn't jumped in and yanked me out, pushing her hands againts my chest so that all the water leaves my lungs.
i came out from my trance and said "that was you?"
she nodded her head. i smiled and said..."well lets get started. what do you want to do?"
she stood there for a minute with her finger on her chin and said "lets bake cupcakes"
me and sameer laughed and followed her into the kitchen.
"do you even know hot to make a cake?" i asked, slightly worried.
"nope." she smirked and me and sam just looked at her with crazy smiles. this girl is MAD.
we then started to pur the flour into the bowl."put a little more." sam wined and emptied the whole packet in. we all stood back to avoid the massive cloud of flour in the air.
"ok! next is butter" Sakshi took a massive wad of butter and was just about to put it in when she tripped. i lunged forward to catch her. the butter spilled all over the floor but we didnt notice. we were too busy staring into each others eyes my hand on her waist.
we snapped out and relised sam was no where to be seen. there was a note on the counter. i read it out loud.
"you guys can eat the cake...im not hungry anymore...
i had to leave...sorry...i got a case and i had to go...
good luck sakshi...

sakshi smiled and said. "well lets watch a movie"
we walked into the sitting room and scanned all her movies. i smiled
"lets watch woman in black." i smirked. sakshi looked up at me and shook her head.
i frowned.
"why? are you scared?" i asked her.
"me?...n...no...lets ..w..watch it" she said shakily.
15 minuets in the movie and sakshi shrieked and burried her head into my shirt. i looked down at her and couldnt hold it in anymore.
i lifted her chin up and looked straight into her eyes, then down to her lips. i inched close and smashed my lips on hers. the kiss was filled with love and car. it was gentle and soft and sakshi smiled into the kiss and broke away.
"its 4:00. we should leave for the hospital."
my heart broke into 1000 peices but i nodded and picked her up bridal style. i carried her to the car and carefully placed her down as if she was fragile and would brake with any harsh contact.
we reached the hospital and i smiled at her...
