Sakshi was sitting lifelessly. it had been one hour since he had been taken to OT. the girl whom she saved had left.she was sitting all alone engulfed in fear and guilt. she was cursing herself for all that happened. tears were flowing down her eyes...her eyes were dark red..she was very worried for arjun...ayesha and sameer had not. come yet. with every passing second her fear increased..she was looking continuosly to light above the gates of theatre.
Her trance was broken by the voice of a small girl nearly of age four looking intently and calling ...
"aunty ,aap roh kyun rahe ho?" Sakshi just turned in her direction. she was numbed by the situation. she didn't
answer. when she didn't get any answer she continued "papa kehte hain hume sab kuch share karna chahiye...ab yahann to koi aur nahi hai to aap muj se share karo"...Salshi felt lump in her throat so she turned towards the theatre...the girl understood her gesture and said " ooo... to kisi ko chot lagi hai...vaise vo aapke kya lagte hai?..
Sakshi looked at her feet..tears still rolling down..she was having no answer to her question actually she didnt
know. what to say...
when she didn't reply ...girl started again "relative hai kya?" sakshi slowly nodded no..she continued "phir dost honge"
Before sakshi could clearify her relation with arjun...a nurse came shouting her name and the girl hid herself behind
sakshi but she was still visible...the nurse held her hand and dragged her out
nurse: tum yahaan ho mai tumhe poore hospital mai dhoondha tumhe...
This is when sakshi noticed that the small girl was wearing the hospital uniform..she felt a urge to know more about her ...the nurse turned to sakshi and said " thank u so much...pareshaan kar diya hai iss ladki ne...abhi do din b nahi
huve aur iss ka shuru hogaya...she called the ward boy and told her to take to children's ward and handed him the girl... before leaving girl came near sakshi...wiped her tears and said mama kehti thi ki prayer me bohat taqat hoti hai...ap bhi pray kiyjiye...bhagwan ji aap prayer bhi sunnege...saying this she left with ward boy
the nurse was about to go when sakshi asked her...
sakshi: ye iss hospital me patient hai..matlab kya hova hai isse
nurse: haan ...pichle aath mahine se comma ma thi..parsohi theek huvi hai..observation me rakha ..kal tak discharge hojaye gi
someone wascalling her so she left ...sakshi felt bad for her but she aapreciated her for her optimistic behavior...she stood up from her seat..to the window..looking out at the busy street and trying to calm herself...she heard her name been called from a familiar voice...she turned to see ayesha and sameer ..

She ran towards ayesha and hugged her tight...crying her heart out..ayesha had told sameer about the attack ...
ayesha tried to calm her down and made her to sit and asked her "ye sab kaise huva" (ayesha had been informed only about attack..she didnt know the whole story.) Sakshi told them everything that happened on the road..
this angered sameer alot...he called chotu and told him about the attack..he further told him to search for thoes goons..turning to sakshi he asked " tumhe unka chehra yaad hai..sketch banva pavogi"
before sakshi could answer ayesha stood up...she had already seen his ignorance towards rathore and night's neglecyed behavior was too much for her to handle ...so barked up..saying whatever there was in her mind
ayesha: aap aise kaise kar sakte hain sir..arjun sir abhi ot me hain aur aapko un gundoo ki padi hai i know to track them is important per kam si kam arjun sir ke bahar aane ka to wait kijiye..hum unhe baad me bhi dhoondh sakkte hain...i know ki aap koi farak nahi padta ki arjun sir rahe ya na rahe lekin at least sakshi ka khayal kijiye...u dont care for him but she does...ayesha's words broke his heart in million pieces and lingered pain in his heart...how easily she said thoes words that he doesnt care...
he remembered his friendship days.(.they had got their first posting together...)the day they had their first encounter.
. they both were having mixed feeling of excitment..nervousness and fear but above all they were happy..after all they were together for their first assignment...they both left with their mentor cum boss ..They reached the place and their senior made pair and together again..They entered the godown ..signalled each other of various dangers and overthrowing them , they landed in a bid hall full of boxes and a table having four chairs opp. to each other.
They were really confused as their informer had told them that their criminal would be inside as they had to crack a deal. before they could understand what was going on, firing started at them from back. they both along with their team ran for a safe place. sameer hid behind drums and arjun adjacent to him behind boxes. after a lot of firing three of them were killed . as per their calculations their were four men. sameer came out of his hiding place ..pointed the gun towards last one and pushed the trigger of his gun but it didn't shoot. he tried several times but in vain he realised that bullets are finished. the goon in front raised the gun in his direction and shot at him. sameer stood still and closed his eyes..when he didnt feel pain he opened his eyes to see arjun in front. he was shocked to see him. no doubt they helped each other through ups and downs but hurting him for his own life.. he could never think of it. he ran towards him .took his gun and shot the goon to death. he picked arjun with the helped of his team mates and brought him to hospital. after several hours of waiting doctor came out saying he is fine and sameer can meet him after some time.
after an hour..he went inside and saw him lying on the bed and called out "rawte" .he opened his eyes slowly and smiled at his friend who had a frustated look on his face. it clearly dipicted that he had cried alot..his eyes were still wet..Sameer seeing his smile and barked." hass kyun raha hai..tera dimaag to theek haina.. saale ye karne ki kya zaroorat thi..agar kuch ho jata to..arjun said still smiling mai theek hoon sam dont worry ...aur agar kuch hojata to tu haina sambalne keliye." sameer looked away from him ..and he continued "aur apne muh ki kya halat bana rakhi hai..koi dekhega to kya sonchega ki sameer dhamsingh rathore apni girlfriend se ladai karke aaya. hai aur ab uski yaad mai ro raha hai and laughed . "shut up rawte" tumhara har topic ladki pe kyun khatam hota hai" and gave him a distressed look which soon broke into a laughter. arjun always teased him for girls as he had mentioned that he will not date anyone in any condition untill he got a perfect girl for himself..
his memory lane was broken by voice of ayesha. he turned to look at her and saw her talking to doctor. who had probably came out now
ayesha: doctor , sir kaise hain
Sameer also joined the two..
doctor: he is stable now. hum unhe ward me shift kar rahe hain aur unke hosh me aane ke baad aap unse mil sakte hain ...saying this he left
they let a sign of relief and sat down. waiting to meet him. By the time shree and chotu reached hospital..it was alredy morning and they asked the trio to go home and assured that they will manage in the hospital.At first they all denied but when told that they had to be in office sameer agreed and so did ayesha but sakshi was not willing to leave arjun she wanted to confirm that he is fine and promised to leave after meeting arjun
sameer and ayesha left for home separately and then met in office. they talked less to each other and spoke only about the case .
Somewhere in the outskirts of city:
man1: aagaye ...kaam poora huva
man2: vo...vo boss humare maarne se pehle hi kuch logo ne uspe hamla kar diya
man1: mar gaya ya abhi bhi...
man2: nehi boss mere admi ne bataya abhi zinda hai
man1: abhi bhi zinda hai...bohat sakt insaan hai acp itni aasani se to nahi marega...mere hi hato maut hai uski...(looking to the man in front) aaj sham ko hi uska qisa khatam kardo...agar vo aur zinda raha to tum maut ka samna karoge...
the man left.
man 3: boss ek baat poochu ...his boss nodded...so went on..ab itne mahine ke baad aap usse marna kyun chahte hain...mera matlab aap usse uss din bhi to maar sakte the
man1: maar to sakta tha vahi galti hogayi laga ki uski pariwar ko marne ke baad vo mera peecha chod dega lekin vo abhi bhi mere peeche pada hai..lekin ab vo zarror marega..and he let a evil laughter

In the hospital
it was evening but arjun had not gained conscious yet. all three of them were worried but doctor told them it was the effect of medicine and no need to worry about it. meanwhile sameer called shree and chotu as they were needed in the office he told sakshi that he will send liza or ayesha but she denied and assured him that she will manage alone and so he agreed and they both left for office.
the sun had already set. she sat outside arjun's ward and rested her head against wall . she was very tried and draibed out. she closed her eyes and within no time she drifted to sleep. her sleep broke by the sound of breaking of glas she opened her eyes and looked around but their was no one and she realised that noise had come from inside the ward.
