Chapter 9
After two days in ETF cafe
Sakshi : I am so worried guys, have to do so many things. Wedding is just two weeks away
Liza : Don't worry dear, we are here naa? Tell me when are we buying wedding outfit?
Aisha : Haan Sakshi, we have to do that soon. If we need any alteration on dress, it may take time.
Sakshi : What are you guys planning to wear? Saree or lehenga?
Aisha : I am planning to wear Saree. What about you Liza?
Liza : yes me too. Why don't we wear same style saree in different color
Sakshi : ya that will be nice
The trio kept on discussing about clothes, jewelry etc . Chotu and Shree entered listening to this talk and they said " we will also take some new clothes.When should we go? We will go together"
Rathore also came there seeing their excited face and when he knew about the topic he said " Mami asked me to take all of you for shopping. She said all of your clothes for Arjun's marriage is her gift. But she asked you guys to choose it. She has other things to do, so she won't be coming. We will go tomorrow. "
Everyone was happy after that.
Next Day
All are ready to go for shopping.
Rathore and girls in Rathore's car and Arjun and boys in Arjun's car.
They all entered a big shop and first went to the wedding dress section.
Boys went to the groom section and girls went to the bridal section
Girls had a plan to choose the dress. Each of them chose a dress for Sakshi and then called Arjun to select it and Arjun chose the one which is chosen by Sakshi. It's a red lehenga with golden work. They selected Sakshi's each dress like that. And then same with Arjun. Four men selected their own choice for Arjun and Sakshi selected Arjun's sherwani and it was the same chosen by Arjun.
And after selecting all the clothes for Sakshi they started selecting for others. Liza selected a green saree and Aisha selected blue color of same style saree. All the other men also selected sherwani for them.
After that Aisha and Liza dragged Sakshi somewhere and asked her if she isn't buying any hotty night wear. Sakshi turned to look at that section and blushed and said
" But guys, he doesn't even love me now.. So all these things are .. You know .. I mean"
" I don't know what you mean. Sakshi , before confessing his love I don't think he is going to give you any pre warning. And at last when the time comes you will regret. So just keep it ready, you will need it some day" said Aisha and winked
" Or may be you can wear this and attract him, you know like those Apsaras used to do in front of Saints" said Liza and they all laughed
" Girls are you done?" Asked Rathore
" That's a wrong question sir, never ask girls if they are done with shopping. They never will be" said Shree
" You are right Shree" so Rathore corrected his statement " girls, I think we are done. Let's go"
Chotu and Shree laughed
" Ok we will buy this tomorrow. Just three of us will come" said girls and they started giggling on something.
No one understood anything . But Arjun understood the matter. When Aisha said something to Sakshi, he saw Sakshi turning to night wear section and blushing. He knew girls are giggling on that. And a small smile appeared on his face.
They left that shop and went to a hotel to have their lunch
After that they did some minor shopping and went back to ETF
Days are passing like anything. Now it's only two days left for marriage.
Sakshi is at her home with Aisha and Liza . They are packing Sakshi's dress and all her things. Today they will leave for Rawte Mansion. Rathore will come to pick them up.
" it's so sweet of Mami that she will be with us for the girl's side ceremony" Said Aisha
" Mami?" Asked Sakshi.." Someone is following Sameer so closely" teased Sakshi
" Come on guys, I am so used to Rathore sir using that name, that's why" said Aisha
" hmm hmm we know what's happening. For now I am leaving you, but will attack you soon" said Liza
They were almost done when they heard the sound of a car. The door was open and Rathore came in.
" Everything done girls?" Asked Rathore and started to load the bags that are already packed. Aisha and Liza's bags are also there. So Rathore asked
" Girls I have a doubt, you are going for two days right? Or are you guys planning to stay there for ever? How many bags you need? I should have called Chotu" said Rathore with a shocked expression
All the girls laughed after seeing his expression. Rathore loaded all the bags and they were ready to leave.Sakshi give the house's key to its owner. She hoped she would never need this home again, she hoped she will stay at Arjun's home for ever.
They reached Rawte Mansion around lunch time. Everyone's mouth opened after seeing that huge mansion. It's decorated so beautifully and the mandap work is also in progress on their lawn. When they parked the car two servants came to take the bag. Mom came outside and instructed them to take the bag to room upstairs. Then she came to them and hugged each of them
" Come inside, you must be tired. You can have lunch now. Or do you want to take rest for sometime" asked Mom
" Let them take rest Mami , they will come down when they are hungry" said Rathore
" nandini, take them to their room" said Mom to a servant " Sakshi beti, if you need anything you can call Nandini.. She will help you"
They went upstairs and was amazed to see the size of each rooms. Nandini took them to their room.. They were about to enter the room when they saw Arjun coming down from third level.
" Did you guys have lunch?" Asked Arjun
" No Arjun, we thought we will rest for some time" said Sakshi Arjun nodded and asked Nandini
" Can I get some tea Nandidni ji" asked Arjun
" Haan Haan abhi laati hoon" said Nandini and went away
Arjun entered the room first and asked them to come in.
" I hope this room will be enough for three of you. If you need anything there is a calling bell. Someone will come.If you want to buy something, give the list to Nandini ji, she will send someone. Now you all take rest let me go and meet Sam." Said Arjun and left the room
" When did he learn manners and formality" asked Sakshi
" Sakshi what a house yaar, I feel like its a palace. You are really lucky" said Liza. Sakshi smiled
They all changed to salwar suit and came down to have lunch.
There they saw a middle aged lady in saree. She is smiling at the girls and coming towards them
" Hello girls, all of you looking really pretty. You must be wondering who am I right? I am Sameer's mom, Sruti" she said .Rathore and Arjun also saw her and came there.
" Mami, why didn't you come yesterday" asked Arjun and touched her feet
She hugged him and said
" What to do beta our driver was not well. so why should we trouble him" said Mrs Rathore
" I would have sent a driver" said Arjun
All the girls are amazed to see Arjun's behavior towards her. He looks so sweet and innocent, just like a kid.
" You leave all that. Who is Sakshi here?" Asked Mrs Rathore
Rathore came and side hugged Sakshi and said " This is my sweet Sakshi or should I say future Bhabhi? No I think you will always be my little sister, right Sakshi?"
Sakshi nodded and she touched her feet.
Mrs Rathore hugged her and kissed on her forehead.
" This is Aisha and Liza, our team mate" said Rathore
They also touched their feet
" You girls don't even look like cops, you all look like a sanskari bahu" joked Mrs Rathore
" What did you think about my team Maa. At office they all will become daring cops and at home " pakka bharatiya naariya" said Rathore and everyone laughed
" Sruti..." Called Mrs Rawte " You bring all of them to the dining room. We will have lunch "
" Haan Priya, we are coming"
They all left for lunch and after that all the ladies including Mom's group started talking. It was so nice and no one didn't even realize the time until Mr Rawte and Rathore come inside for their evening tea.
After having tea Mrs Rawte asked Arjun and Sameer to show the mansion to the girls.
" Sameer, please make sure Arjun and Sakshi are never alone together." Teased Mrs Rathore
Arjun rolled his eyes and started walking. Girls are surprised to see the talk between Arjun and Sameer. They have never seen them like this. Even though they are very close, in office they used to maintain a strict professional relationship. But now they are totally relaxed and joking.
When they reached third level Sameer told Aisha and Liza to come with him. He said he will show them " the suhag raat bedroom" and asked Arjun and Sakshi to continue
Arjun and Sakshi were walking side by side, suddenly the light went off. Sakshi got scared and she went little more near Arjun. He felt that she is a little scared. So he held her hand and walked as he know the way even if there is no light.
" I think they are taking the lights to mandap. That's why the lights went off" said Arjun
Sakshi was about to nod but a lizard came crawling and touched her legs. She screamed and hugged Arjun so fast that he lost the balance and both of them fell down
Sakshi's hair and dupatta are covering his face and his one hand is protectively holding Sakshi's waist and the other one is holding her shoulder. Again he started getting that nameless feeling. it was so silent there and the only sound was their heavy breathing sound. Arjun pulled dupatta from his face and tried to move the hair. But the smell of her hair is so intoxicating that he just wanted to lay there and smell that for ever. He moved her hair with difficulty. Sakshi was struggling to get up and with her each movement electricity is passing through his body. Arjun is looking intently at her.
Sakshi just wanted to get up from there. She can't stand this much intimacy. Even though it's dark she knew Arjun is looking at her. She was struggling to get up when she felt Arjun's hand tightening around her waist and then she heard Arjun's husky voice
" Stop struggling Sakshi, your chain got stuck on my shirt's button. let me remove it" said Arjun and Sakshi stopped struggling
Arjun is trying his best but still her hair is coming on his face and is distracting him.
"Sakshi manage your hair, it's distracting me" said Arjun
"I have to stand up if I need to manage my hair" said Sakshi
He sighed and said
"Okay then I think it's better to remove the chain's hook. All your hair is on my face and shirt" and then he moved his hands to her neck. Arjun's almost stopped breathing when he touched her neck but all that intense feeling went away when he heard Sakshu giggling and Arjun got angry
"Why are you giggling now? And for god's sake stop moving"
"You are tickling me Arjun" said Sakshi and giggled again
He closed his eyes to control his anger and moved his hands to the hook, but again she started giggling and moving. He was trying to find the hook when his hand touched her salwar's zip. He rested his hands there and said
"Sakshi if you don't stop moving and giggling this instant, my mom promise I will unzip your top now"
She suddenly stopped moving with a terrified expression on her face. But that instant he unhooked the chain and ask her to get up.After that he removed it easily from his shirt and passed it to her.
Then they both slowly went downstairs in an awkward silence.
