Kunchu my dear, you are again in top form here, in a brooding dark fashion.

It is as if a grey fog, of grief never got over, and of memories that cannot be erased but have not been safely quarantined either, hangs over the whole narrative. And it is not just Arjun, where one expects it,but Simran and Karan as well. I am sure that unlike the way in which we were shortchanged over the backstories in the serial long before it (literally) went up in flames, here you will fill us in, even if only in bits and pieces, as you, and we, proceed.

The open anger and bitterness in what Arjun says to Coelho was only to be expected, though it has not been made clear what the department did when Arjun was accused of having led his ETF colleagues to their fiery death. The serial too fudged that issue. I hope you will make things clearer here.

What interested me in that segment was more the hesitant protectiveness Coelho feels towards Arjun, and his hope for a guardian angel to keep Arjun from self-destructing due to excessive rashness induced by blind rage. Who is cast for that role, I wonder! As of now, the only credible candidate seems to be Anjali.

This brings me to the amazingly perceptive and thoughtful exchanges between Anjali and Arjun. She is the daughter he never had. She would have taken care of him, scolded him for neglecting himself, looked after him, and thawed out his frozen heart in a way no one else could. And I loved the double entendres in their conversation; for all that she is just 8, she is in some ways a dadiamma-turned-IT whiz. .

Next mystery: Anjali's Mumma. Why is she so wary of Arjun associating with her daughter? Intriguing, as it should be.

PS: When is the series slated to go off air? When one watches the old episodes on Star Utsav on Sunday evenings - at 6 pm till recently, now at 10pm - one realises afresh what a mess the CVs and the channel have, between them, made of a very promising concept and an excellent cast.
