Part 7:

Saakshi finally got up and was about to move to Arjun's cabin when Shree held her wrist and stopped her. He hugged her again. Having someone to call his own after all these years of loneliness had taken toll on him and he yearned for more. Saakshi was patting him consolingly as if to assure that she would be with him from now on forever.

Arjun had just come out of his cabin in search of Saakshi to drop her home which by now had become a routine. He would drop her home when they would work till late night and they would sometimes have dinner together which would be cooked by her. Normally Saakshi would come up to him once her work was done. Today she had not come to his cabin even after completing the report which sort of irked him. He was a bit worried for her and decided to check out himself. The sight he saw when he came out of the cabin sought of froze him. He saw that Shree and Saakshi were hugging each other. He knew Saakshi was very close with each and every member of ETF but Shree had always maintained a strictly professional relationship till date or to say he had deciphered so. He had never seen them speak cordially to each other. But today they were hugging each other. From the scene he saw he could say they knew each for a long time. Even though he could sense that there was nothing romantic about it, he could not stop himself from being jealous or envious about Shree's proximity to Saakshi. He could not stand the sight of some other man so close to her.

Shree and Saakshi parted from each other.

Saakshi: Shree. Bahoot hogaya kaam. Time is up.Chalo ghar jaakar rest karo. Aur kal subah aakar baaki ka kaam kar lena.

Shree: Teek hain bhabhi. Mein bhi vahi soch raha tha.

Saakshi: Ek baat aur Shree. Mujhe saab ke saamne bhabhi mat bulana. Mein nahi chahthi ki yahan kisi ko mere atheeth ke bare mein pata chalen.

Shree: Ok. Mein aapko bhabhi nahi bulavoonga. At least jab tak aap nahi kahengi. Good night.

Saakshi: Good night Shree. Did you have your dinner or not?

Shree: Nahi bhabhi. Kaam ki wajah se nahi kaa paya. Ghar jaate samay pizza ya burger kaa loonga.

Saakshi: Kitani baar kaha hai zayada junk food sehat ke liye acha nahi hai. Junk food kam kaaya karo. Par tum meri baat kabhi nahi sunthe ho.

Shree: Bhabhi aap bhi na bilkul nahi bathli waise hi ho. Mein kuch bhi kaa longa. Aap fikar math kejiya.

Saakshi: Ghar chalo mere saath. Mein tujhe kaana baanakar kila doongi.

Shree: Nahi Bhabhi. Mere aapke saath chalne se bahoot sawal ootenge. Hamare atheeth sayad sab ke samane aa jayega joh sayad aap aab nahi chahthi. Par I promise jab mujhe kuch bhi chahiye mein aapko baatha doonga.

Saakshi: Ok Shree. Yeh math boolna ki aab tum akela nahi ho. Mein hoon tumhare saath. Aur waise mujhe tumse ek aur baath poochna tha. Mein iss weekend Pune jaa rahi hoon Shree se milne. Kya tum use milne mere saath aavoge?

Shree: Jaroor aavonga Bhabhi. Hum Saturday Pune jaayenge Shree ko milne. Ab bye and take care. Mere jaayada fikar math kariye.

Saakshi: Ok. You take care as well.

Shree took his bag and swung it around his shoulders and started walking out when he saw Arjun standing outside his cabin.

Part 7(Continued):

Shree: Sir mein aapko woh saare details jo aap jaana chahthe the woh kal subah de dunga.

Arjun: Ok Shree. No problem.

Shree: Good night sir.

Arjun just nodded and shree just walked away. Arjun could sense a satisfied and content look on his face. Was Saakshi the reason for all that he couldn't decipher? He had always maintained strictly professional relationship with all the members of ETF because of his fear of relationship after Roshini's death. So he could now not ask Shree about his and Saakshi's relationship as it was more personal than professional. He could also not know it from Saakshi as she might misunderstand him. Their so called unnamed relationship had certain unsaid vows which neither could break. They would never talk about their past. He never mentioned about his past with Roshini to her nor would she question. She had never tried to cross the border and get to know more about him. It was one of the reasons that he had allowed her into his life. But now suddenly he wanted to know more about her or to say everything about her, her life and past. Even though they never spoke about his past, his life was a open book almost everyone here in ETF knew his tragic past but as far as she was concerned she was still a mystery. No one knew what she had been doing before she joined ETF. Even her official profile lacked any of this information regarding her or her family or her past. This incident that he had seen just now had increased his curiosity regarding her past. He somehow wanted to know more about her but he himself could not decide what had made him restless seeing her closeness to Shree. Saakshi's voice broke the track of his thoughts.

Saakshi: Chale Arjun. I am sorry meri wajahse tume sayad time hogayi.

Arjun: It's ok. No problem. Is there any problem? Agar aisa ho tho tum mujhe baata sakthi ho. Mein sayad tumhari madat kar sakoon.

Saakshi: No Arjun there is no problem. Agar hain tho mein tume zaroor batavongi. Can we start?

Arjun: Yes let's start.(To himself) Don't you trust me enough to share your pain and grief with me?

Saakshi (To herself): I know Arjun, You want to know what is the matter between me and Shree. I can't share it with you now. It's not that I don't trust you. You are probably one of the very few people whom I have gotten very close after my tragic past. I trust you very much and I know you will do whatever it takes to get things right. It's just I am not in a position to face my past. Sorry Arjun. I am really sorry. Whenever I am ready to face it, you will probably be the first person with whom I will share my grief. As of now I can't share it. Ab se hume tho saath hi chalna kyunki humare manjil ek hi hain They reached Saakshi's place and had their dinner together and Arjun left to his place. The case was eventually solved next morning due to Shree efforts, Saakshi's timely inputs and Arjun's out of box thinking. The entire week passed and it was weekend and time to start to Pune to meet Shristhi.

Saakshi and Shree started to Pune Friday night and reached there Saturday morning. Saakshi had not informed Shristhi as she wanted to surprise her daughter. It was morning and all the kids were playing in the hostel play ground as it was a Saturday. Saakshi was very excited to meet her daughter after a month's gap. She slowly entered the play ground premises and went stealthily towards her daughter and was followed by Shree. She went near Shristhi and kneeled down and closed her eyes from behind and asked her to find who it was. Shristhi first acted as though she didn't find and then eventually her happiness of meeting her mother after a long time got the better of her and she happily yelped. Saakshi slowly released her hands from Shristhi's eyes. Shristhi turned and hugged her happily and Saakshi was so overwhelmed meeting her dear daughter after so much time that her eyes welled up slightly. Saakshi came of the hug and lifted her cute pari and kissed her all over the face. Shree was silent spectator to scene unfolding between the mother daughter duo. He was really happy to see his sister happy and contented after a long time.

Shristhi (Happily): Mama aap aa gayi. I missed you so much.

Saakshi: I missed you too beta.I love you.

Shristhi: I love you too Mama.

She just looked over her mother's shoulder to find an unknown person standing and watching them.

Shristhi: Mama. (Pointing towards Shree) Ye kaun hai?

Saakshi: Ye Shree hain.Mere matlab Shreekanth sen. Mere bhai jaise hain. ETF mein mama ke saath kaam karthe hain. Tum inhe Shree uncle bula saakthe ho.

Shristhi: Ok mama. Hai uncle.

Shree: Hai Shree. How are you? Mujhse dosti karogi?

Shristhi looked at Saakshi and she nodded.

Shristhi: Ok uncle. Friends.

Saying she forwarded her hands and shook it with Shree. Shree soon lifted her and kissed her cheeks. Soon they started chatting and playing together. They bonded well instantly. Shree started teaching her to play games on his mobile and both were enjoying each other's company. Anyone who saw them who think they were long last friends who met after a long time. Shree had a unique content on his face and Saakshi only hoped that it would last forever. Soon he would start living his life together. Now Shristhi had forced Shree to play hide and seek with her and Shree's mobile was ringing for quite some time now. Saakshi ignored it initially but eventually picked it up.

Caller: Hello Shree. Mujhe tumse kuch urgent kaam hai. Kya office aa sakthe ho?

Saakshi: Hello Arjun mein Saakshi bol rahi hoon. Wait a second mein use phone deti hoon.

Saying that she called Shree and gave him the call. They spoke for a while and cut the call. Arjun was again shocked to know that Shree and Saakshi had gone to Pune for some work together.
