Kunchu dear,
A taut, tense and gripping chapter, that brings out clearly the tremendous difficulties any investigator would face in trying to out think and trap a criminal who is, at this point of time, ahead of him, and has the huge advantage of striking first. That too when working under the emotional pressure of having a colleague in the enemy's hands.
But Arjun's almost inhuman detachment is what will stand him in good stead here, as much as his superb detective abilities. Emotion clouds the mind and reduces ones' ability to think dispassionately, which is why no surgeon operates on a close relative. Arjun, however, is able to shut out all emotion and achieve the Zen-like detachment and laser like focus of his namesake in the Mahabharata.I look forward to seeing how he outwits this enemy, who targets the others only to get at Arjun thru them.
And am I glad that Rathore is back, at least in this story! Would that he would come back in the series as well!
