Chapter 16
Everybody was sitting in the conference hall thinking about what had happened and why it all happened. Arjun walked in the conference hall and sat on his usual chair. Everybody was looking towards him with mixed emotions. They all were angry at him yet they were sad for him too. But he just sat there avoiding everybody's gazes on him and now it was time for to wait.
After few hours...
Everybody was startled to hear the familiar voice. The voice was none other than Sakshi. First of all they all thought that this might be their imagination but when they saw her standing at the door of conference hall, they realized she was really there.
Sakshi: What the hell guys? Why did you do that?
Everybody was surprised to see her there
Everybody ran towards her except Arjun.
Ayesha hugged her first
Shree: I am so happy, you are back. Finally you changed your decision.
Liza: Are you alright. You have changed your decision right or You are not well?
Sakshi: Hold on guys. Stop this drama of yours. This is not done. This is not way to stop someone.
Sameer: What are you saying Sakshi? What have they done
Sakshi: They know bhai. Comeon Shree, Liza or Chotu. Admit your fault
Shree: What are you saying? What have we done
Sakshi: Guys I know you love me but stealing my passport from bag so that I miss my flight is not done.
Everybody was shocked to hear
Chotu: We havenot done anything like that. Trust us. Waise Shree itna brilliant idea humhe kyun nahin aaya.
Shree: Haan yaar Chotu. This is brilliant plan
Sakshi: What the hell guys. Don't lie
Shree: We are not lying. We don't have your passport.
Sameer: Try to remember. Did you bring your passport from your home?
Sakshi: Yes Bhai I checked it and I even checked it here in the conference hall
Sameer: Try to remember exactly.
Sakshi: I met you guys and then I went to meet Arjun and then that peon came to give me my bag that forgot in Arjun's cabin when I was at the door. So that means the passport is with...
Sameer: Sameer finished her sentence. That means passport is with Arjun.
Everybody turned towards him
They saw him getting up the chair with smirk on his face.
Everybody was shocked and surprised was just an understatement. They felt they have heard and are watching eight wonder of this world. They cannot believe this was really happening.
Sakshi was so mad watching him smirk like this.
She went forward and slapped him lightly
Sakshi: What did you think of yourself? Why did you do that?
Arjun: I did that because I did not want you to go
Sakshi was not more furious than before. She slapped him again
Sakshi: If you wanted me to not go, cannot you say it? Is this a way to say? Could not you stop me when I came to meet you at your cabin? You know kya bita hai mujh par inn few hours mein. I was dying every minute. Is this all joke to you?
Now Arjun slapped her lightly on her face.
Arjun: This is joke to you Sakshi, not to me. Whenever you want you come to my life and whenever you want you go. One day you walked to my cabin without knocking and make me shake your hand with you. Since then you have been constantly irritating me. You tried to find different ways to bug me, get my attention. You would get a cup of cutting chai at 3.30 in the morning. You would fake an injury. You would do everything possible thing which made me hate you more and more. I fired you but you challenged me to come back in 24 hrs and you back too. You promised Shree and everyone that you will make me smile. You promised me other day you will always be with me till your last breadth. You helped me in this revenge fiasco. You called Sameer everyday to ask about me. Why Sakshi why? When I wanted you to get out of my life, you stayed there forcefully but now when I wanted you in my life, you decided to leave? Why Sakshi? I thought with every stupid antic of yours I was hating you more and more but reality was I was bonding with you more and more. Tum toh hamesha meri har baat bina kahe samaj jaati ho, toh phir iss bar kyun nahin samaj payi. Kyun Sakshi. Kyun iss baar tum meri aankhen nahin pad payi?
Mere dimaag neh mere dil ko samjhane ki bahut koshish ki, ki you deserve much better in life. You deserve someone who will be able to love you truly. But at the end, being human I became selfish and I could not let you go. Yes Sakshi, I could not let you go. How can I? derr se hi sahi, meri dil neh iss Sach Ka Samna kar hi liya ki woh tum hi ho jo mere dil mein basne lagi ho. Woh tum hi ho jiska chehra mujhe baar baar dikhayi deta hai. Woh tum hi ho jiske saath mein apni baaki ki zindagi jeena chahta hoon, who tum hi ho jiske saath mein apni life ki saare dukh aur sukh baatana chahta hai. Woh tum hi ho jisse meh bahut pyaar karna chahta hoon aur tumse bahut pyaar lena chahta hoon. Woh tum hi ho jiske saath mein zindagi ki har doop-chaw mein chalna chahta hoon. Haan Sakshi hum dono ke laak mana karne or rokne par bhi, humara dil ek dusre ke saath mohabbat kar hi baith. Aaj mein tumhe apni zindagi mein wapis lane ki liye apna kadam bada raha hoon. Yeh mat sochna yeh meh kisi ke kehne par raha, nah hi Sam ke kehne nah hi Ayesha ke kehne par, Yeh meh sirf apne dil ke kehne par kar raha hoon. You are very strong girl Sakshi. Tum meri khushi ke liye mujhe chod kar bhi jaane ko tayyar thi, par mein itna strong nahin hoon Sakshi. I need you, I want you in my life. Tum meri zindagi aur jeene ki wajah ban chukki ho, please mujh se woh wajah mat door karo. Please Sakshi. Please stay because I love you. I really really love you and I cannot live with you. Mein ek minute ke liye nahin, ek din ke liye nahin, ek saal le liye nahin balki umar par le liye tumhe apni zindagi ka issa bahana chahta hoon aur tumse pyaar karna chahta hoon..I love you Sakshi. I love you so much.
Sakshi was so overwhelmed after hearing this from Arjun. This was even beautiful confession than she had even imagined after reading fairy tales or after watching hindi movies. They say reality is stranger than fiction and for her it turned out to be more beautiful than fiction.
First time she was experiencing which everybody says khushi ke aanso. She quickly ran and hugged him and Arjun hugged him back. She was finally in the arms of her man. The man she yearned for. The gesture and the magic was there that she hoped to see one day. The love in the eyes of Arjun for her was clearly visible and every word he uttered was pure bliss for her.
Everybody else reaction was no different. Shree, Chotu and liza hugged each other and Sameer and Ayesha hugged each other. Sameer eyes were watery too. Being a chief of ETF, he might get embrassed if seen crying but being Sam, the best friend of Arjun and Roshini, he had no shame in shedding your tears of happiness. Finally both of his very dear people have found happiness. Arjun had finally found home with Sakshi and Roshini must had really found peace today.
No one knew the conference hall of ETF, where always crimes were discussed will ever witness such a beautiful confession and that too from ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte, the kadoos and Akdu second in command of ETF. Who could have guessed, this conference hall and the team of ETF will become witnesses of the beautiful love story of Sakshi and Arjun. They will remember this for life time.
