Ch10.

Shanaya sat on the sofa,while the others sat on the floor.All of them were playing Antakshari.Each and everybody sang according to their favorite and also dedicated to their loved ones'.

Shanaya was having a great time.All throught the Antakshari,she smiled and laughed also.Sometimes,she pulled everybody's legs.Shaleen smiled at that thought.

After some minutes,he felt a tug in his hand.It was Shanaya...

''umm... Shaa...mujhe galar ka halwa khana hai... (corrects herself).. Uh uh... Mujhe nahi,mere babies' ko khani hai...'' Shanaya innocently said.

''Shaanu,abhi abhi tumne khana finish kia aur thori der pehle hi kitne saare Cadbury Silk Chocolates khaye hai...itna zyada meetha thik nahi hai... Kal kha lena,please...'' Shaleen pleaded.

Shanaya's face lost its colour and pouted at Shaleen.She turned her face away from him and acted as if she is angry.

Behzaad(in Rowdy Rathod mode): Rawte... Agar Shanu gajar ka halwa khana chahti hai,toh,do na.Dekh,bechari ka mood off kardia tune...

Shaleen thought, ''Ab chalo Shaleen bitwa...tohar lugai ka manane ka pari...''

''Accha,thik hai,Baba... Main lata hu... Maa ne halwa banake rakkha tha fridge... Now,happy?'' Shaleen asked...

A 1000-watt smile appeared on Shanaya's face.This made Shaleen happy.She nodded her head and Shaleen went to the kitchen and brought a bowl of gajar ka halwa made up of shudh desi ghee.

Shanaya immediately took the bowl full of halwa from Shaleen and started having it... She relished it.. After finishing the halwa,she licked her fingers and said, ''Its finger lickin' good...''

Shaleen smiled at his wife's baby like antics and took the bowl from her hands and asked the servant to keep it in the kitchen.He took out a hankie from his pocket and wiped Shanaya's face.

''Thank you,Shaa... Aap world ke best husband ho aur world ke best Papa... I love you so much and will always love you...'' Shanaya said to Shaa with a smile.

''You are the world's bestest friend and bestest wife,and,soo going to become a bestest Mom... I also love you a lot and will always love you like I always do...'' Shaleen said and pecked her forehead.

Tears formed in her eyes and Shanaya hugged Shaleen tightly.Shaleen also hugged Shanaya with the same passion.After they part the hug,everybody gets up to go to sleep,when,suddenly,Shanaya clutches her belly tightly and screams in pain... Shaleen looks at Shanaya and immediately picks her up in his arms and goes to the car.Shaleen makes her sit in the backside of the car with Ritu and Shaleen,while,Behzaad and Shaleen sits in the front sit,where Behzaad takes the charge of driving.Others followed them in another car.

All the while,Shanaya was screaming in pain.She was crying and sweat beads formed on her forehead.Suddenly,she starts to lose her sense.Ritu quickly pats her and somehow keeps her awake till the reach the hospital.

Ch11.

Shanaya was immediately taken to the labour room,where Shanaya's consultant,along with her team of expert doctors and nurses were ready.Shaleen immediately completed the formalities and was pacing in the corridor from this end to that end.

Shanaya was screaming in pain inside the labour room.The doctor tried to calm her down and asked her to push.Meanwhile,Shaleen kept his gaze constant at the door of the labour room,waiting for Shanaya's consultant to come out and give the good news.Meanwhile,Shaleen's mom,dad and Shanaya's mom and dad came in the hospital.They were also equally worried.

Siddharth,Ketan,Ritu,Sheetal,
Mrunal and Behzaad were continuously praying for Shanya and her unborn babies.

After what seemed like ages,a loud,shrill cry broke the silence.Shaleen immediately got up and went towards the door,when,suddenly,another cry went to their ears.Shaleen was super happy and excited to see his two kids' and his wife,Shanaya.

Shaleen and Shanaya's parents' congratulated each other and als congratulated Shaleen for becoming a father of two kids.Behzaad,Siddharth,Ketan,
Sheetal,Ritu and Mrunal also congratulated Shaleen for becoming a father.

After half and hour,doctor came outside from the labour room and congratulated Shaleen and everyone.

''Mr.Malhotra,Congratulations... Shanaya ne ek larke aur larki ko janam dia hai.Bhagwaan ke kripa se sab acche se hua hai.Shanaya thori weak hai,par,thori der mein,hum Maa aur dono baccho ko ek cabin mein shift kardenge,tab miliyega.''

''Thanks,Doctor...'' Shaleen said.

After some minutes,Shanaya and her babies were transferred in the cabin.Shanaya was looking at her babies.A tear fell from her eyes.She took a dash of kajal and applied it on the back of the ears' of both the babies.

After sometime,Shaleen and the others entered her cabin.There,Shaleen saw his babies',sleeping peacefully.His little princess,wrapped in a soft pink blankie,while,his prince,wrapped in a soft blue blankie.

He went near the big cot,where his babies' were sleeping.He bent down to their level and was looking at them,intently.A tear of happiness fell from his eyes.He bent down and pecked the forheads' of his babies'.

''Thank you so much,Shanu,for giving me the most priceless gift of my life... Thank you so much for the feeling of becoming a father. Love you,Shanu...'' Shaleen said and pecked her forehead.

Shanaya felt really happy and now,her family is complete.Both,Shaleen and Shanaya looked at their bundles' of joy,who were sleeping peacefully.Both the families' were really happy for Shaleen and Shanaya... The families' of Shanaya and Shaleen blessed the babies' and ofcourse,the new parents',as well. Even, Sheetal,Ritu,Behzaad,Mrunal,Ketan and Siddharth also wished the new parents' and blessed the bundles' of joy.

After some time,others went to their home to take some rest,while,Shaleen stayed back with Shanaya.They were admiring their babies'.They were discussing,as to,what to call them.

''Shaa,maine socha hai ki kyun na humare babies' ka naam Ayaan aur Anaya rakkhe? I just love these names... Mumma ne kahaan thha to name them by these names... Aapa kya khayal hai?''

''Not bad,Shanu... Infact,maine bhi socha thha ki humare baby princess ka naam Anaya hi rakkhenge aur prince ka naam Ayaan... Love these names... Shanu,thanks a lot for coming into my life.I love you a lot...''

Saying this,he took Shanaya's lips for a gentle and soft kiss.He poured all his love and care in that kiss.Shanaya also responded back with the same passion.After they break the kiss for the lack of air,Shanaya placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes,as she was hearing the best music of the world, i.e, Shaleen's heart beat...

After 2 weeks,Shanaya was released and the naamkaran ceremony was held after two days.Soon,the kids' were christened and they were named as Ayaan Shaleen Malhotra and Anaya Shaleen Malhotra. Both the newborn kids' were blessed by everyone and were given gifts,as well.

Shaleen and Shanaya looked on,as they see their family happy with them and ofcourse,the new additions to their family.

''I love you,Shaa...''

''I love you too,Shaanu...''

Saying this,Shaleen took her for a side hug and pecked her forehead.Soon,Siddharth brought his camera and took pictures of everyone with the newborn babies'.

And,they lived happily ever after.
