Chapter 8

Arjun POV

Arjun went to terrace to cool his mind. How dare she do that? How dare she tries to listen my personal talk and then come to me and sympathize with me?

But she said she was not trying to sympathize with me. I don't think so. She was making all that up. I should not have talked to her like that specially about her family. I don't why what happened to me.

He said following sentence little loud: She totally deserved that.

Suddenly his chain of thoughts were interrupted by a voice

Sameer: She does not deserve that at all. Tumhe ho kya gaya tha Arjun

Arjun: Tum yeh keh rahe ho Sameer. Yeh jaante hue, she listened to my talks with commissioner and then she came to me to sympathize with me.

Sameer: She did not intentionally listen to your talks. We all were in conference room when she realized she wanted to talk about something with Commissioner sir, so she went to talk to him and then she might have heard you talking with commissioner sir.

Arjun: Then also she does not need to come and talk to me. What she thinks she will say few words and I will forgot my sorrow or something. I don't care about her.

Sameer: What is wrong with you Arjun? She was going to tell you she might be able to help you in getting information about Sikander.

Arjun : 😲

Flashback Start

This morning

Sakshi: Sameer Can I come in?

Sameer: Come nah Sakshi

Sakshi: I wanted to talk to you something important. Actually one of my informers called me and told me that big drug dealing is going to happen in Mumbai soon and Sikander might be coming for that because it is really important level meeting or something. I told him to keep a tab on it and let me know exact date so that we can make some plan of action.

Sameer: You did right thing. As soon as you get some information, let me know. I will ask Chotu too to activate his informers.

Sakshi: I know that Arjun is looking for Sikander too. Should we tell him that too?

Sameer: Hmmm I will inform him.

Flashback Over

Arjun was shocked beyond limits.

Sameer: Aur waise bhi tumhe ho kya gaya hai. What is your problem with Sakshi? I am noticing from so many days that you are behaving so weirdly with Sakshi. I admit she came to club other day but it was wrong of us to stop her from coming at the beginning itself. She is in ETF because she is qualified for that job. We cannot judge her like that.

Arjun did not respond to any of that.

Sameer left to go downstairs.

Arjun was now more frustrated. Sameer was right. I don't know what happens with me regarding Sakshi. He went downstairs and went to his cabin. While passing, his eyes fell on Sakshi's cubicle and he saw she was not back.

Everybody went home after finishing their work but Sakshi did not return for rest of the day.

Next Morning

Everybody was sitting in the conference hall. Arjun entered the conference hall and his eyes immediately fell on the chair where Sakshi used to sit. The chair was empty. She was not here yet. He knows he passed last night tossing and turning. He really needed to talk to Sakshi. He was feeling very low after saying so many mean things about her family to her. He needs to apologize to her.

Suddenly Sameer's phone rang and he took the call.

Sameer: Guys we have a new case and for that we have to go to Delhi.

Ayesha: Delhi sir?

Sameer: I know. Its case of Raizada's and you all have heard about Arnav Singh Raizada, he is also family friend of mine and he have requested commissioner sir to give us his case and he wants ETF to handle it. Shree book tickets for all of us and we are going to Delhi today itself. Everybody go home and we meet at airport.

Shree: lekin sir Sakshi is not here yet. Should I call her and tell her to come to airport straight.

Sameer: nahin shree, She is not coming. She called me last night and said she needed leave for 2 days for some personal work.

Arjun was highly disappointed that he would not be able to talk to her for another 2 days and his expression does not get missed by Sameer.

Shree: Sir tickets are booked. We have to meet airport in another hour or hour n half and then we will be able to catch most recent flight.

Sameer: Ok guys see you all on airport.

After few hours

Sameer and whole ETF team reached Raizada mansion.

Sameer: Namaste Naniji. Kaisi hai aap

Naniji: Mein teek hoon, Sameer bitwa kaise ho aap

Sameer: Mein teek hoon aur yeh meri team hai. With that he introduced each one to all of them

Anjali: Humhe toh Arnav neh bataya hi nahin ki aap log aa rahe hain. Chote bhi nah

Sameer: Haan Arnav ka phone aaya tha ki he wants us to handle the case.

Mamiji: yeh toh Sameer bitwa tumne acha kiya. Ab aap hi isi problem ko Hello hi bye bye kar sako ge.

All the team was amused to see her talk.

Sameer: Naniji gudiya kaisi hai. Ab toh kitni badi ho gayi hogi. Mujhe toh usse deke kitna waqt ho gaya hai. I won't be able to recognize her. I still remember her calling me Sam bhai and will come to me whenever Arnav will try to scold her on something

Naniji: Woh achi hai beta.

Suddenly Arnav walked in

Arnav: Waise hi hai Sameer. He shaked hand with Sameer and all the team. Thanks so much for coming Sam.

Sameer: No problem Arnav..

Their talks were interrupted when they saw a small girl running down the stairs and a girl was running after her.

Girl: Pari ruk jao. Pari ki bachi mein tujhe chodo gi nahin

Pari: pehle catch me..tabhi toh chodo ge..

Girl: Pari

They both came to where everyone was standing and a girl suddenly stopped looking at all of them. The girl was none other than Sakshi

Sameer: Sakshi what are you doing here. You requested leave for 2 days.

Sakshi: Arre why all of you are here?

Naniji: Sakshi beta aapne inhe pechana nahin, yeh Sameer hai, Nisha aunty ka beta aur Sameer beta yahi toh hai gudiya

Sakshi: OMG Sam bhai...I cannot belive it .

With that she hugged Sameer.

Sameer: I cannot believe it. Your name said Sakshi Singh. I should have thought about it. I should have guessed you are Sakshi Singh Raizada

Arnav: Hold on if you guys did not recognize each other, then how come you know each other.

Sakshi was caught...

Sakshi: Woh bhai..bhai..

Arnav: I am waiting Sakshi

Suddenly Arjun spoke.

Arjun: She works with us in ETF.

Sakshi just turned around and glared at him

Anjali: Gudiya tumhne ETF join kar liya and you did not tell us.

Sakshi: Jiji I only joined ETF as investigative reporter. I don't do any stunts. Don't worry. Then she looked towards Sameer with puppy face so that he can help me. Aap ko mere par barosha nahin hai toh Sam bhai se pooch lo

Sameer: She is right...

Sakshi muttered a mute thank you to him for saving her.

Arjun: Can we work on case now.

Sakshi: Come with me. I will explain you what's going on
