Chapter 3:
(This is sad one. 😭)
"Arjun leave me." said Sakshi trying to get out of his grip, "I have to pick up Raj." She desperately tried to get away but his grip just got tighter but he made sure not to hurt her.
"Kyun? By the way.. I am romancing with my wife." said Arjun, his eyes still closed, "She's my wife I can do anything. And Raj can wait a little longer." Arjun pulled Sakshi on top of him and finally opened his eyes. He loved seeing her first thing in the morning.
"Arjun, if you don't leave me.. I will poison you cutting chai and make sure you get a whole gallon of it down." Sakshi said now annoyed. Arjun just smiled. Sakshi looked too cute in her mood swings. She can go from laughing to crying to be angry and confused in just minutes.
"Arju-" Sakshi was interrupted by his lips on hers. His lips were soft and gentle. They showed care and love. Sakshi also replied. Their moment was disturbed by a phone call. Arjun groaned and picked it up while Sakshi just blushed.
"Hello?" Arjun said. The next moment he jumped out of his bed, "What? But how? I am coming."
"What happened Arjun?" said Sakshi now impatient.
"Raj aj subah khelte hue gir gaya and usey chot ayi hai and wo hospital hai. Chalo." It took Sakshi to comprehend the news. She didn't realise what was happening untill Arjun pulled her towards the door. Sakshi started crying. She was feeling strange now. Now she understood why she felt weird today. She had brushed off the feeling thinking it's just due to pregnancy but now she understood.
Arjun was driving like a maniac. Both of them ran towards the reception and then towards the room. "Raj? How is he?" asked Sakshi breathless. Their neighbour just kept quiet.
"Tell me! Damnit! What happened to my son." screamed Sakshi, "I will murder you if you don't tell me." Arjun hugged. Trying to calm her down.
"What happened?" said Arjun. Sakshi was crying badly. She kept patting her back.
"Raj, fell off the stairs running. He hit his head on the stair. Their was a lot of blood loss and doctors said it was critical." That hit Arjun and Sakshi like a bullet. Their son was in critical position. Sakshi fell unconcious due to shock.
"Sakshi?1?" screamed Arjun, "wake up." Sakshi was shifted into the hospital room. Their neighbour stayed with Sakshi while Arjun waited outside Raj's room. After hours and hours of waiting the doctor finally came out.
"We couldn't save him. There was too much blood loss. Sorry." said the doctor and left. It took Arjun few minutes to comprehend what he just said. He fell down crying. He had lost his son. His Raj. His mini-Arjun. All his memories flashed in his mind; his birth, first birthday, first school day.
He had lost a part of himself. He got up and went to Sakshi's room. On the way he kept thinking how would he tell her and how will she take it.
