Chapter 4:
(LAST)
Arjun slowly walked into the room. His eyes were red. He felt empty. Sakshi was impatiently waiting for him. The moment he walked in she jumped out of the bed and ran towards him.
"Arjun? Raj.. is he okay?" said Sakshi, "Why are you crying? Is Raj okay? What did the doctor say?" Arjun just hugged her. And started crying. His silence was killing Sakshi. She couldn't stand it.
"Tell me!" she demanded holding his shoulder, "Tell me where is my son?"
"Ra-a-j.." Arjun started, "Raj left us.. he's gone." Sakshi stood their in shock. She was paralysed. Her brain stopped working and her heart was beating fast. The words he's gone... left us.. Raj kept riniging in her head.
"Nahi nahi nahi!" Sakshi screamed,"He can't leave us. He can't go. Raj can't leave us. Tell me you're lying. Tell me it's all a joke. Raj is alright, isn't he? Arjun just shaked his head in negative.
"RAJ!" Sakshi screamed and fell towards the ground but Arjun caught her. She was clinging to him. Both of them were crying their eyes out. When life was getting all good now. When things were starting to change. Destiny had to bring such a day.
"My fault. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have let him go. I shouldn't have. I should've said no. Arjun it's all my fault. I killed him. I killed my own son.. my Raj." cried Sakshi.
"No. You didn't. You didn't know. We will have to move on. For our new member." said Arjun touching her stomach, "Raj won't forgive us if something happens to our unborn kid."
"Move on? MOVE ON? ARE YOU TELLING ME TO FORGET ALL THOSE 5 YEARS I SPENT WITH MY RAJ AND MOVE ON? OR TO FORGET THAT WE EVEN HAD A KID AND MOVE ON? FORGET HIM? I CANT ARJUN! I CANT. HOW CAN YOU ASK ME TO MOVE ON? DONT YOU LOVE HIM?" yelled Sakshi.
Arjun was super angry aswell. How could she doubt his love for his son, "DON'T LOVE HIM? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND. I LOVE HIM. HE IS A PART OF ME AND I FEEL LIKE A PART OF ME HAS BEEN RIPPED OUT!" Arjun calmed down, " I am not asking you to forget him. I am asking you to find Raj in our new member. If it's a boy we can name him Raj. But we have to be strong for him and for Raj. I am sure Raj will be watching us and he would never want any tears to come in our eyes. He wouldn't want anything to happen to his sibling. Are you understanding me Sakshi?"
Sakshi just nodded and hugged him tight. Both of them stood there and no one wanted to disturb the mourning couple, they needed their time.
*************Sakshi and Arjun stood strong and moved on. It was hard but the knew they had no other choice. After eight months, they were blessed with twins this time. A prince and a princess. A prince to cover the loss of their first child. They named them Raj and Adya.************************
5 years later.
"Adi! Raj! Utho!" said Sakshi, "Time for school." She took each of them to the bathroom got them showered and dressed for school. In the mean time, Arjun freshened up and got ready for another.
"Good morning papa!" both Adya and Raj screamed seeing him. He picked both of them up in his arms. and kissed them, "Papa, ap ka case solve hua?" asked both of them. Arjun smiled and answered,'Nahi abhi nahi bus hone wala hai."
"Lagta bade hoke police wale bane ge ye dono shaitan." said Sakshi who had just walked in.
"Hmmm.. that's good. Raute family ki tradition ban jaye gi." said Arjun and all of them laughed.
Maybe they had finally found their happiness again. The family had found their smiles again. Raj would be happily watching them and laughing aswell on their jokes.
