Guest post by Gorky M : Arjun – The Triple Murder Case
Truth is stranger than fiction. Sometimes I narrate a concept to the channel or a writer narrates a concept to me and it is dismissed as too absurd – until it is revealed that it is based on a true incident.
The case the ETF team handles this Sunday is that of a triple murder and it is based on a true incident. We have of course, fictionalised parts of it to adapt it to our show.
Another highlight of this episode will be a Rawte-Roshni- Sam flashback which we shot for the entire night. I really cannot place a finger on it but the day we are shooting any flashbacks for the Rawte – Roshni track, there is a strange energy on the set (I personally think it has got to do with Samiksha's presence) and everyone including the usually scraggily assistants from the direction and camera department show up in ironed clothes, all shaved and looking fresh!!

We were supposed to start in the afternoon but due to various circumstances the shoot got held up and we only started the shoot by 1145 PM. Starting a scene close to midnight is usually recipe for disaster because everyone is tired after the day and work slows down to a snail's pace – but not that day. We started at 1145 and packed at 7AM in the morning and no one complained!
It was quite tough for Shaleen and Behzaad to get into the groove of something different having completed a long day of shoot. They have been playing tough cops for such a long time that I am pretty sure a lot of facial muscles responsible for smiling and such have just gone dormant – but they did manage to activate them in time!
