Sometimes, I think that Sakshi's character is not so well etched out. She is not a well-rounded character.
In a professional setup, especially a high pressure one like law enforcement, you cannot be so informal and lackadaisical.
I am not implying that people shouldn't make friends or be cheerful, but some lines are just not meant to be crossed.
Cops often stick well with their partners and co-workers, it is a cliquey thing. When you work hours with someone, you do tend to get close with them.
But for an outsider who has just joined the force, Sakshi's chirpiness is sometimes annoying.
Maybe I am a Riya fan and I am prejudiced😊. But i will admit I also like Ayesha.
Her characterization has been done better. She contributes to each case, has slowly built a rapport with her colleagues, and asks intelligent questions.
Both Ayesha and Riya before her, seem to know the seriousness of what their job is, are aware they have to deal with life and death situations on a daily basis.
But Sakshi is just not interested in being productive. For her everything is a big joke. I can see why Arjun gets angry with her. As a media person, her lack of inputs is very disappointing.
I did like the way they humanized her by showing her dad's condition. If they added some more facets to her character and make her a little more...real, for the lack of a better word, I am ready to accept her.
I have the same complaint with Lisa as well. She is the forensic specialist, but Arjun ends up doing most of her job! Waiting to see her rapport with the team, esp. Shree.
NOTE: The post is just my P.O.V. regarding the writing, the characterization. Not the actress or the role that she is playing. I am not bashing Mrunal, I think she does a lovely job.
All I am suggesting here is that the writers should work on delineating Sakshi's character a little more seriously. I am taking Ayesha and Riya just as examples to show that the writers can do a better job, and I am not comparing their relative merits/demerits in any way.
