"meri fiance hai..." Arjun said with a smile to which she rewarded him with a smile.
"what?????"
"haan kyon???kya hua? Mein kabhi kisi se shaadi nahin karsakta hun kya??"
"Arjun, agar tum sab ke saamne aise khadoos banke raho ge to koi yakeen nahin karega..."
"to kya karu sakshi... har pal hasa rahun kya??? Tum bhi na..."
"Arjun. Tum na ek number ke gadhe ho..."
"mein aur gadha??"
"haan. Wo bhi ek number ke."
"aur tum kya ho??? Bandar???? Sorry bandariya!!!!"
"Arjun abhi warn kar rahi hun mujhe bandariya mat bbulao..."
"oki bandariya main tumhe ab se bandariya nahin bulaunga"
Irritated she took her bag and started hitting him.
"oye pagli...ye mera office hai... yahan meri koi reputation hai yaar..."
"haan haan... badi padi hai reputation ki. Ghar chalo. Aayi se kahungi to pata chalega mujhe bandariya bulaane ka anjaam."
She huffed and pulled dazed liza along with her.
Shree and chotu were completely shocked at the scene which unfolded before them few seconds earlier. Arjun saw them and barked
"tum donon ko koi aur kaam nahin hai kya??? Jao aur paper work complete karo. Warna Rathod aake tum donon ko kaccha chabajayega"
He stood there and saw entire thing which took place in the conference room. It felt nice to see her happy... smiling and giggling with him...
They were orphaned at a very tender age... he was just 12 and sakshi mere 9.
He still remembered the day when he had given mukhagni to his parents.
He still remembered little sakshi's face which showed deep sorrow, loneliness... he had tried everything to make her happy... but none worked till they were taken in by Raute's.
Money was never a problem for him. hailing from the royal family of rajasthan, he and sakshi was left behind with huge fortune. But who wanted that?
All they craved was love and affection. He had to return back to boarding school soon. Before that he wanted to see his sister in safe hands, where she could get all love and care she deserved.
He had grown overnight. From a school going boy to a responsible elder brother, mother and father to sakshi. Only he knew how difficult it was for him to handle sakshi during those days...
She had build a wall around her... he did not know how he could break that...losing her mom and dad, seeing them die infront of her had affected her too much.
It was then their family friends, Raute's had stepped in. Arjun, who of the same age as sameer had become pillar of strength to both sameer and sakshi. They took them to their home, where sakshi slowly started to smile again. As days of sameer moving back to school neared, he could feel the fear of being alone started creeping in.
Much to his surprise, Arjun had joined to same school and they both left together, starting a new friendship, new companionship...
She was not the same 9 year old girl, who had drawn herself to shell... she was now more jovial sakshi, she smiled, laughed and made everyone around her happy...and he himself had become like what she was all those years bck... just to keep her safe...
The mere thought of her made him smile. But he immediately shook his head and went to his cabin.

The rest of the day passed very smoothly, with just glares from sameer to sakshi and accusing glare from Arjun to sameer.
Sakshi had created her place in everyone's heart. It was her nature.
She was the one who every other person wanted to be with.
She spoke about gadgets with Shree, wrestlers with chotu and about dead bodies with liza. She spoke about all the topics they liked, joked, played pranks...
Arjun sat in his cabin and saw all her antics.
He could not help but chuckle at her antics.
It was almost 7 when everybody started leaving ETF building.
Sakshi was waiting for Arjun to come.
Shree who was ready to leave asked her if he should give her lift till her place.
"sakshi, tumhe ghar chod dun??"
"arre nahin Shree... Arjun ka wait kar rahi thi main. Aayi ko na hum donon ka intezaar hoga... agar hum dono saath nahin gaye to Arjun pe gussa hongi wo..." she chuckled
"tum kahan rehti ho sakshi??i mean ghar kahan hai tumhara??"
"raute mansion... Arjun ke ghar..."
"what??? Tum aur Arjun sir ek hi ghar mein????"
"haan yaar... bachpan se main wahin rehti aayi hun...beech mein years delhi gayi thi studies ke liye...bas" she finished with a smile.
"odi baba... maine ye to expect nahin kiya tha..."
"arre tum abhi tak yahin ho???? Specky sen jaayiye aur liza ko ghar drop kijiye..she is waiting for you..." she winked at him.
"sakshi... don't call me specky sen. Pakka liza ne bataya hoga na tumhe??? Aaj to uski khair nahin..."
Saying so he rushed out.
She chuckled and turned around to see Arjun leaning against pillar, with his arms folded across his chest and a smile on his lips. She went to him and stood infront of him.
"aise kyun dekh rahe ho??"
"dekh raha hn ki tum kitni sunder ho..."
She blushed at his comment
"waise sakshi, agar tum aise blush karogi na to I feel like eating you up..."
"Arjun. Kya keh rahe ho tum???? Kuch to sharm karo??"
"sharm kyun??? Main mere hone waali biwi se baat kar raha hun tum se nahin miss. Sakshi Rathod.."
"haaw... aisa hai na. to theek hai. Apni fiance se baatein karo, main chali..."
She took a step away from him and turned round.
He pulled her back and she crashed to his chest...
"agar tum jaogi to main mere fianc se baat kaise karun?"
He quickly kissed her cheeks and she blushed. When they started to move out, they saw sameer standing there with a grim face.
"abhi bhi waqt hai sakshi waapas chali jao... sirf tumhari nahin baakiyon ke zindagi bhi tum khatre mein daalogi... un dono dinon ki tarah"
Arjun saw tears pooling n sakshi's eyes and his anger flared up.
"agar tum un do dinon ke incidents ke baare mein baat kar rahe ho I need to tell you that she Is not at fault. First time it was mere co incidence that she was resent when SHE was murdered. It was HER choice that SHE saved sakshi and not herself. And the second time, it was both of us sameer... even I was there. You also know very well what had happened both times. If I remember you too were present there... so don't you dare blame her for those unfortunate events in our life. Samjhe ya samjhau!!!"
He pulled sakshi with him but stood still hearing his words
"tum chahe kuch bhi kehlo raute, she is not meant to be here. This place is not meant for her.."
Arjun turned and glared him but chose not to speak anything... he pulled sakshi with him and exited ETF.
Sameer stood back and spoke to himself
"jaanta hun ki uski koi galti nahin hai. Par dar lagta hai mujhe uski aankhon mein aaj bhi mere liye pyaar aur izzat dekh ke... dar lagta hai kahin wo mere paas aaye aur main usse kho dun... I cant let that happen... never... I am sorry baccha... really sorry... sorry Arjun...par wo yahan na rahe to hi wo safe rahegi.. "
He wiped tears that were about to fall and went to his den, his cabin.
shree was back to ETF as he had left back his tablet.
He stood in dark as he heard raised voices of Arjun and sameer. he was shocked to see a furious Arjun dragging weeping sakshi out of the building. He took two steps ahead and heard what sameer told to himself...
He saw sameer wipe his eyes and returning to his cabin. he quickly went and collected his tab and while returning he could not help but think
"in teenon ke beech kya connection hai???? Kuch to choot raha hai..."
His trance broke with an incoming call from liza.
