Riya turned back and said, "Riya, aur apka?"

"Rahul Malhotra, naam to suna hoga," Rahul said and winked at her.

Despite herself, Riya couldn't stop from breaking into a laugh at this man.

And that's the way Arjun found his Riya, smiling at a stranger and her hand in his. He felt as if a knife was stabbed in his heart. He had never felt so much jealousy in his life.

He wanted to go, pick Riya up and throw her on his shoulders and run away. But unfortunately he'd have to behave, he was here to prove that he trusted and respected her, behaving like a totally jealousy freak wont help him at all. But still he couldn't take it that his Riya was laughing with another man, and her hand was still in his. He took a deep breath, counted till 10, and when he felt he could deal with his jealousy he approached them.

"Good morning, I hope I'm not disturbing anything," Arjun said with a fake smile. His anger and jealousy reached his eyes, and Riya could easily see them in his eyes. She felt slightly guilty for having been caught at such a way, and when she saw Arjun looking at her hand in Rahul's ones, she immediately pulled her hand back. She was expecting Arjun to make a scene, but after a few seconds nothing happened. She looked at Arjun's face, while Arjun was looking at Rahul.

"Do I know you?" Arjun asked the stranger, with a coldness which could freeze anyone.

"I'm Rahul, Rahul Malhotra!" Rahul said back, and raised his hands for a handshake with Arjun. But Arjun ignored his hand, till finally a bit confused and uncomfortable, Rahul had to lower his hand. "And what's yours?" Rahul asked back.

"Arjun, ACP Arjun Rawte!" Arjun replied back grouchily.

"Arjun is that you?" Rahul said with enthusiasm after a few seconds, "Gosh I don't believe how much you have changed!"

Arjun stared with confusion at Rahul, he didn't understand who that guy was and why was he making as if they both knew each other since long time.

"You forgot me! Remember that skinny and weak boy which you once saved from some drunkards! I was at that time an orphan here, but after some time, I was among the lucky ones to get adopted by a good family. Hence this new name Rahul Malhotra. I was known as "Stick" at that time, since i was very thin!" Rahul said trying to make Arjun remember him. Rahul had always admired Arjun, when years ago he had saved him, and even after leaving this orphanage he hadnt forgotten about him, till finally one day he had seen Arjun's photo as the brilliant ACP Arjun Rawte.

"Stick, is that you? I don't believe. Just how much you have changed and grown up," Arjun said finally remembering a long lost friend. He had already forgotten about his jealousy and all, he went to give Rahul a big hug.

"It feels good to meet friends when one was small," Arjun said with a smile.

Both were so lost with their childhood talks, that they had already forgotten Riya.

"Men talks," Riya said silently, and went away. No one even noticed her going away. She went back in her room, and was lamenting on herself. She had enjoyed seeing a jealous Arjun, though she hadnt done a thing, but instead Arjun and Rahul turned to be friends.

"Typical males," she said looking at her in the mirror, when suddenly she heard someone knocking at her door. She was in a lousy mood, so went to open the door and shouted, "Kya hein?" She was shocked at seeing Arjun right in front of her. He was looking at her with a smile, after all why not. He remembered his talks earlier with Rahul, where he had told Rahul in very straight ways to stay away from Riya, because Riya was his fiance. Rahul had merely congratulated him.

He didn't wait for Riya to tell him to come inside, and just went inside and sat himself on the bed.

Riya was lost seeing him like that, why was he here? What did he want now? Didn't he have anything to say to Rahul? "Oh God! I'm jealous of someone else talking with Arjun, and that too a man! Seriously I must have become crazy completely!" she thought to herself.

She looked at Arjun and told him to go away.

"Riya are you trying to make me jealous?" Arjun suddenly asked.

"Kyun? Don't I have the right to talk with anyone now?" Riya asked angrily.

Arjun stood up and came to stand quite close to her, and said, "Sure you can Riya? But'" he never managed to finish, because Riya had stopped him.

"But what? You think I'm cheating you with him? You think I'm trying to attract him?" Riya asked furiously.

"Nope, never that! I'm just jealous man Riya, I feel jealousy when you talk with other men! And on top when you laugh at them," Arjun said back calmly.

"So you want me to stop talking with people now," Riya asked incredulously.

"Nahin, you are getting me wrong!" Arjun said, but Riya didn't wanna hear anymore, she was turning away to go away. But Arjun didn't want Riya to think so badly of him, he was supposed to win her back, not lose her again.

So Arjun held her by her arms, and pulled her towards him. He looked in her eyes and said, "Riya, I trust you. It's just I don't trust other men when they are with you. Don't you even realize how beautiful you? Do you even know that when you are smiling that dimple smile, how irresistible you are? Your eyes speak volumes of words, and the way you talk? How can someone not fall for you?"

Riya couldn't stop herself from blushing upon hearing Arjun speak so higly of her, that she even forgot what they were fighting for, "Dekho Arjun, flattery wont work!"

"I'm not flattering you, just stating the truth!" Arjun said softly.
