PART 2

Riya was standing in the balcony lost in her thoughts,lost in the bittersweet memories'it has been 2 and a half years since abhay raichand's demise, her late husband ,the one she loved whole heartedly,the person who turned her love into hatered.

five years back riya and abhay were madly in love,riya still cherished those memories,abhay treated her like a princess..

she remembers the time in goa,playing in water having fun having the time of their life'.1^st september was the most memorable day of her life,she had doned a beautiful red dress with spaghetti straps'she was very confused as to why abhay called her in a museum wearing the out fit she was wearing'.the receptionist asked her to follow her they were in the astronomy section,she gasped as she entered the auditorium'the auditorium was decorated with white and purple lily's her favorite flowers and there was a huge heart shaped cake in the center abhay came from behind and wrapped his arms around her asking ,like it,she leaned and gave a satisfactory sigh and said,like it abhay are you kidding me I absolutely love it.

They both went near the table and abhay whispered happy birthday sweetheart,riya had tears brimming in her eyes,she turned around and hugged him ans said plese don't love me so much abhay,

Abhay said I will and I will love you more than this cause you are the most special person for me on this planet,riya I know I can be rude some times and I am very moody but the only person who can take care of me is you,I only want you in my life sweetheart so will honour me by accepting me for the way I am and being mine for ever please marry me riya.

Riya stood there speechless,happy tears in her eyes and she whispered yes abhay I will marry you because I love you more than anything and anyone in this world.abhay slipped the ring on her finger and asked may I have the pleasure to dance with my would be wife,riya slipped her hand in his.

Abhay switched off the lights,riya was wondering why he did that but soon she got her answers as the ceiling was filled with stars,as abhay had switched on the projector,it was the most beautiful scenario that riya had ever witnessed.she felt blessed.

Abhay was the one person who understood her,made her happy,after she lost her parents when she was just 16 in a bomb blast she thought that she would never find peace and solace but abhay changed everything,he loved her so much or that's what she thought.

The first three months of her marriage were blissful but she did not know what changed after that,abhay use to fight with her for no reason,taunt her , humiliate her,she tried her best to make everything alright he use to doubt her love for him and that hurt her the most,he had become over possessive,he did not like her talking to any other guy even the watchman.he had accused her many a times that she was sleeping with someone else behind his back.she tried so much to make him understand that he was the only guy in her life,but things never changed.

Riya found out that she was pregnant and she was so happy,she thought that finally things would be alright she would get her old abhay back,but she was so wrong.

When she told abhay that she was expecting ,he had lost his cool,he insulted her, abused her and asked her whose filthy kid was she carrying ,riya was extremely hurt,she pleaded with him to listen to her'she even said that he could do a dna test to find out that he was the father and she never cheated on him,but that enraged him further and he took out his gun and aimed at her,he asked her tell me whose kid is this or else I'll shoot you.riya was stumped at this,she never expected this reaction from her husband , but most of all she was scared for her child,she only knew one thing that she had to protect her child so she went near abhay and very softly said please believe me abhay I am not lying,her intention was to snatch the gun away from him so there would be no threat to her baby.

But abhay was quick enough for her he fired the gun and riya could do nothing.she felt blood seeping from her abdomen and before she could register anything that's happening around her abhay shot himself as well.the neighbor heard gun shots and called the police,riya was admitted in the hospital..the doctors could not save her baby.after that incident she came to know why abhay started behaving like that with her,he was having an affair himself and felt guilty and lashed out on her.

She loved abhay but now her love had turned into hatered,abhay was not only her late husband but also the murderer of her child.

Riya had given up her dream to become a cop for abhay but after his demise and her miscarriage she thought the only thing that could make her nightmares disappear was to exert herself,work so much that she would have have time to think about all this.

She felt she had failed her parents because the society blamed her for everything.they called her characterless and accused her for being the reason for abhay to kill him self,but still riya did not give up hope for living,cause she knew where ever her parents were they were still looking down at her she knew her parents blessing will always remain with her.

She picked up the scattered pieces of her life and wanted to start a fresh,she never gave up hope cause she remembered what her mother use to always tell her that never give up and never loose faith in love.and riya was sure that some day she would meet a person who would love her cherish her,she would wait for her soulmate.

But today arjun's words opened her scars her pain that was buried deep with in her,she put her hand on her stomach looked at the sky and whispered a soft I am sorry mumma and papa and I am sorry my baby I failed you all,I am so sorry.

Here arjun was driving aimlessly,riya's words ringing in his head,he knew that there was something that riya was hiding,he had noticed her smile falter sometimes when they solved cases that were related to love and domestic abuse.he wondered what pain was she hiding behind her smile.

He called shree and ordered him

Shree I want personal details of riya mukherjee,shree was about to oppose when arjun cut him saying that shree I know what you are thinking that we should not interfere in her life but I am doing this for her betterment,if we know what she has been through then we all can be there for her when she is low and upset..being her friend you must have noticed that she does not share her problems with anyone,I want that to change I want to rectify my mistake shree please help me with that.

Shree was overwhelmed listening to arjun,he agreed and said sir you will have all her details by tomorrow morning.
