Ch5.

''WEDDING DAY''.
Location:Ayesha's House.

Wedding preparations were going on full swing.The Shubh Muhurat for the wedding was scheduled for the afternoon,at 3pm.

Every single soul residing in Ayesha's house were running from one corner to the other,checking the preps made by the wedding planner.

Zebbie's friends,Alekhya,Divya,Vidya,Pinku and Kaveri came early in the morning,so that,they can help the elders' with their work and also to get Zebbie ready for her wedding.

Scene changes to Rathod Mansion:

The ETF boys' were enjoying a good time and discussing about future plans.Meanwhile,Arjun's sherwani came and also his Pagri.
Arjun went to washroom to change it.
During this time,Rathod,Shree and Chotu also changed into their attires.
Meanwhile,Arjun's friends' also came.It was a very big surprise for him.
Arjun was really very happy to see them.All had a group hug.All thanks to Rathod,Shree and Chotu.

Suddenly,Rathod's Mom came up with Pooja ki Thali and did the Tilak of Arjun.She ordered Rathod to tie the ancestral chain around Arjun's neck.Then Chotu's Aai came forward and tied the ''dhaga'' around Arjun's forehead.

Arjun was looking devilishly handsome in that creamish golden sherwani with a red pagri.

Now,the ''Baraati'' was ready to leave for Ayesha's home,where the wedding will take place.


Scene changes to Ayesha's home.

All decorations finished on perfect time.Everything has been checked carefully,two times.

Mandap ready...
Jaimalas' ready...
Everything ready...

Only,the Bride and the Groom has to come.

After carefully inspecting the haal area,where the Mandap has been set,everyone went to their rooms to get ready for the wedding.

Time: 2pm.
Location:Ayesha's home.

Baraat has come.Rathod,Shree,Chotu and Arjun's friends were dancing in front of the Ghori,in which Arjun was sitting.

Arjun got down with the help of Rathod,Shree,Chotu and his friends'.

He came forward of Ayesha's mom.She did the tilak and did the Aarti of Arjun.She placed a small amount of Mithai in front of Arjun's mouth.Arjun,happily took the mithai,and,in chance,Ayesha's Mom pulled Arjun's nose.

After the Aarti,Arjun was allowed to come inside.He went directly to the mandap.

Everybody was waiting for the Bride to come.

As the Bride had some more time to come,the waiters' served snacks,juices and other snacks to the guests.

Divya,Myrah,Pinky(Chotu's 11:30 wali),Pinku were roaming around and planning to steal the shoes of Arjun.And they succeeded in doing that.

Finally,the Panditji announced to Ayesha's Mom, ''Kanya ko bulaiye''.

Ayesha's Mom happily nodded her head and asked the girls' to bring Zebbie down.

After 10 minutes,the spotlight went to the stairs.Four girls,holding the dupatta from each corner,were coming down the stairs,with the Bride in the centre of the Dupatta,with Vidya and Alekhya holding her both hands.

Everybody were looking at Zebbie.She was looking tremendously beautiful.She was wearing a Creamish Golden Lehenga,with the Shagun ki Zevar,the ''Ancestral Nathni'' and other jewels adorning her forehead and neck.

Arjun just kept looking at her.As if he had seen an Angel,descending from Heaven.

As Zebbie was coming down the stairs,
BG music:

''Dulhe ka sehera suhana lagta hai,
Dulhan ka toh dil deewana lagta hai''...

She was now brought up on the mandap.A long white cloth was brought in between them.The ''Jaimalas' '' were given to both of them..

As the Panditji chanted the Mantras,slowly and slowly,the white cloth was pulled down.Now,Arjun could see his Bride.She was looking purely an Angel.

Panditji: ''Var Kanya ko mala pehnaye''.

As soon Arjun was about to put the Mala around Zebbie's neck,Shree and Chotu pulled her up.This made Arjun glare at them.But,Shree and Chotu didnt budge.
But,suddenly,Arjun felt his friends' pulling him up and thus,Arjun put the Mala on Zebbie's neck.Same with Zebbie,took place.

Atlast,the Jaimalas' were exchanged.
Now,the Pheras'.

Myrah came forward and tied the Sacred Knot.

Panditji asked for Zebbie's parents' for doing the Kanyadan.Zebbie became sad and tears were forming on her eyes.Arjun saw this and squeezed her hand with his.Zebbie looked at him and nodded.He signalled her to look,who is going to do her Kanyadaan.

She was amazed that her boss,ACP Sameer Rathod and her friend,Ayesha will do the Kanyadaan.

Everybody became happy.Arjun wiped the tears and leaned forward to place a kiss on her forehead.

She mutterd, ''Thank You,Arjun.I Love You''.

Arjun happily nodded...

Soon,the Kanyadaan was done.

The Panditji asked Arjun and Zebbie to stand up for the Pheras.

Arjun held Zebbie's hand and started the Pheras.
With each Phera taking place infront of everyone and keeping the Fire God as the witness,they promised to be with each other,through,thick and thin.

BG Music:

''Taare hai baraati,
Chandi hai yeh baraat,
Saato phere honge ab,
Haatho mein leke haath,
Saato phere honge ab,
Haatho mein leke haath,
Jeevan Sathi tum,
Diya aur Baati Hum.''

Continuation from Ch5.

As the Pheras were done,everybody clapped for the couple and showered flower petals on them.

Panditji told them to sit.Ayesha and Alekhya helped Zebbie to sit on the wooden table.

Now,it was the most beautiful moment.

Panditji held a plate,which had a Mangalsutra and a Box of Sindoor.

Panditji: ''Beta,Vadhu ke maang mein Sindoor bhardo''.

Arjun nodded.

Vidya stepped forward and slightly moved the Maangtika away,so that Arjun can apply the Sindoor on Zebbie's forehead.

Pandiji chanted the Mantras',where as,Arjun applied Sindoor on Zebbie's forehead,Zebbie closed her eyes to feel that moment.

Everybody clapped again and showered flower petals.

Panditji: ''Beta,Vadhu ke gale mein Mangalsutra pehna do''.

Arjun took the Mangulsutra and leaned forward to tie the Mangalsutra around Zebbie's neck.

''Main,Arjun Suryakant Rawte,aaj sabke samne aur Agni Devta ke samne tumhe apni Ardhangini ke roop mein sweekar karta hu.''

As he was tying the Mangalsutra around Zebbie's neck,he told this in Zebbie's ears softly.

She looked up at him and their eyes' met.They shared a beautiful eyelock.

Again the crowd clapped and showered flower petals on them.

Panditji: ''Yeh Shubh Vivaah sampan hui. Aaj se Arjun and Zebbie pati patni hai...''

Everybody,present in the wedding were really happy for Arjun and Zebbie...

Arjun and Zebbie stepped down from the Mandap to seek the blessings' from the elders.

Zebbie went infront of Rathod and bent down to seek his blessing,but,Rathod pulled her up and said, ''Mera aashirwaad humesha tumhare saath rahega.''

He then placed a kiss on Zebbie's forehead and placed his hand on Zebbie's head and said, ''Aakhand Saubhagyavati Bhava''.

Zebbie smiled and hugged him.

Rathod: Arjun,bhale Zebbie meri khoon ke rishte se behen nahi hai,par,humdono ka dil ka rishta se behen bhai ka rishta ho chuka hai.Aaj main tujhe apni Guriya ko soph raha hu.Isse har woh khushi dena,jiski woh haqdaar hai.Humesha isse khush rakhna.

Arjun: Main vadaa karta hu tujhse aur Zebbie se,ki,main humesha isse khush rakhunga.

Zebbie smiled and gave a side hug to her husband,Arjun.After that,both the friends' hugged each other.

After the family lunch and some photography sessions,it was the time for Bidaai.

Alekhya held the thaali of Rice and held it infront of Zebbie.

A teary-eyed Zebbie took a handful of rice and threw it backwards.Ayesha,Ayesha's Mom and Vidya spread their Aachals' of their sarees and the Rice fell on it.
With each step,Zebbie repeated it.

BG Music:

''Banno re banno meri,
Chali sasuraal ko,
Aakhiyo mein paani degayi,
Dua mein,
Mithi Gur Dhani Legayi...''

She ran upto Ayesha's mom and cried her heart out,hugging her tightly.

She went towards Myrah and Pinky and hugged them tight.Both,Myrah and Pinky cried with her.

Afterwards,she went to her friends,Alekhya,Divya,Kaveri,Vidya,Pinku and Pari.She engulfed them in a group hug and cried.

Atlast,she took blessings from everyone.

Alekhya and Divya helped Zebbie to sit in the car.Arjun bid everyone goodbye.Before leaving,he handed over the Nekh money to Alekhya and his Saali Sahibas', for the Joote Chori Rasam.

Arjun sat in the Car and held Zebbie's hand.He nodded sideways and wiped the tears from her eyes.
Zebbie bid everybody Goodbye from the Car's window and left the premises.
