EVENING TIME
Everything is set! The decorations are done. Food is set. Guests have arrived and party is in full swing. The dress code was RED for girls and Black for boys! Our ETF members were looking stunning in their party avatar! The party had not officially started, so the music was very soft in the background. The guests were entering and our heroes were attending them.
All of them were looking very nice. Our trio were standing in a group when Riya suddenly saw someone and shouted in joy. All of them, saw toward the place where Riya stared, shocked. Arjun also looked and saw a man standing there grinning from ear to ear. He turned to find Riya running across the hall and jump into the man's open arms and he spun her around. Seeing Riya in another man's arms pinched Arjun. He suddenly felt angry and wanted to break the man's bones. He turned away to control his feelings and composed himself.
Arjun: (ye kya ho raha hai mujhe. Mujhe itna gussa kyun aa raha hai. Hey bhagwaan maine Sameer ki baat kyun maani? Kyun aaya main iss party main?)
Meanwhile, Riya's 'friend' had put her down and she was leading him back to where Chotu and Shree were standing. When Riya reached the shocked duo, Aisha, Rathod and Arjun also joined them.
Riya: Guys, meet Abhimanyu aka Abhi. Mera friend. Abhi, these are Shree, Chotu, Aisha, Rathod sir and Arjun sir!
Abhi: hi everyone.
Arjun: (FRIEND! Haath to aise pakda hai jaise vo iski property ho! Ye ladki hamesha se hi bacchi thi aur rahegi)
All (except Arjun): hi.
Shree: vaise Ri, Abhi, ek baat poochon?
Riya: haan Shree, bolo.
Shree: Sirf dost ya kuch aur?
Riya: Shree, Shut up!
Abhi: are Ri! Kyun daant rahi ho bichaare ko. Shree, right?
Shree smiles and nods)
Abhi: to Shree, filhaal to sirf dost hain but agar Riya chaahe to os status ko change kar sakti hai. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai, kyun Ri? Vaise humaari jodi to kafi sundar hai... bas Ri ki haan ki der hai.
Abhi winks at Riya who playfully hits his arm with her free hand. Arjun on the other hand is getting more and more angry at their closeness.
Aisha: Wow yaar Ri. Tu to badi chupi rustam nikli. Tere is aashiq k baare main kabhi bataya hi nahi.
Riya (blushing): stop it guys! Aisa kuch nahi hai. Abhi, mere dad ke ek close friend ka beta hai aur mera bachpan ka dost. Iski to aadat hai mujhe pareshaan karne ki.
Abhi: aye haye! Teri issi ada pe to main marta hoon Ri. Abhi bhi der nahi hui hai. Tu haan kahe to abhi bhi tere ghar baarat le aaon?
Arjun couldn't bear anymore and he went away. Rathod followed him. Riya watched Arjun go and felt sad but she couldn't do anything. But before she could ponder over it, her thoughts were pulled back by Abhi.
Abhi: bol na? chalegi?
The other three people watching them were finding their chat quite amusing.
Riya: Mr Abhimanyu! Mera dil jeetna itna aasaan nahi hai! Bahut mehnat karni padegi.
Abhi: ooh wow. A challenge? Mat de Ri.. pachtayegi!
Riya: pachtaana maine zindagi main aaj tak nahi seekha!
Abhi: to theek hai. Ho jaye?
Riya: oh please.. carry on!
Saying this she turned and walked away to get herself a drink. abhi walks away too. In the mean time, Arjun and Sameer walk back in and stand with Aisha, Shree and Chotu. Sameer had managed to bring back Arjun. Suddenly, the lights dimmed and music played in the background. A spot light landed on Abhi, who was now on the stage.
Abhi: this one's for you Riya!
The spot light goes off and the lights come back on. Abhi starts to sing and dances along the song.

He finishes the song and everyone claps. He bows down and when he gets up, he smirks at Riya, who is standing with the rest of the ETF. She in answer, raises her eyebrows. Arjun, on the other hand is even more irritated by the song and the dedication but is also confused by his feelings. He thinks about the reason for feeling this but doesn't understand it. His mind waveres over to the conversation he had with Sameer when Sameer had followed him out before.
Arjun: (Could he be right?)
(FLASHBACK)
Sameer: Arjun! Arjun! Sun na! kahan bhaaga ja raha hai?
Sameer catches up with Arjun and holds his arm to turn him around.
Sameer: kya hua? Gussa kyun hai?
Arjun: ye ladki kitni besharam hai? Dekha toone? Kaise hug kar rahi thi osko. Aur phir haathon main haath!
Sameer: vo oska bachpan ka dost hai. Aur possibly oska future husband. Tune suna nahi, onke parents ne to onse shaadi ki baat bhi ki ha. Par tujhe itna bura kyun lag raha hai? Kahin tu Abhi se jealous to nahi hai?
Arjun: Jealous? Main kyun jealous hoonga?
Sameer: mujhe kya pata? Shayad tujhe Riya se pyaar ho? Hai kya?
Arjun: tu pagal hai kya? Main Riya se pyaar nahi karta.
Sameer: to tujhe kyun farak padta hai k Riya Abhi k saath ya kisi k saath bhi kaise behave kare?
Arjun: kyunki...
Arjun is silent. Sameer smirks.
Sameer: Arjun, tu maane ya na maane, symptoms to tujh mein bhi vahi hain jo mujh mein the.
Aisha ke liye. Tu aaraam se sochle!
Arjun: kya faltu ki baatein le kar baitha hai tu. Chal! Andar chalte hain!
(FLASHBACK ENDS)
Arjun: (Kya Sam sahi keh raha hai? Par agar vo galat hai to mujhe kyun farak padta hai Riya ki baaton se? oski harkaton se? oske Abhi k paas jaane se? Shayad Sameer sahi hai! Shayad mujhe sach main Riya se...)
