Anu looked at Dr.Anjali for fraction of seconds, as she spoke up the bitter truth,

"Aayesha...Sameer ko Blood Cancer hai...Leukemia..."

Aayesha looked at Dr.Anu expressionless,

"Aap sach bol rahi hain?"

Dr.Anu nodded in +ve, as Dr.Varun left, and Dr.Anjali stood up and walked towards Aayesha,

"Aayesha, please, office mein kisi ko kuch mat batana iss baare mein..."

"Lekin..."

"Please Aayesha..." said Dr.Anu.

Aayesha nodded in +ve, as Dr.Anu asked her to leave with her for her cabin, as Dr.Anjali stayed with Sam.

Inside Dr.Anu's cabin,

"Dr.Anu..."
"Yes.."
"Aap Sir ko kaise jaanti hai?"
"Mein toh yahaan ke har patient ko jaanti hunn..."
"Par..."
"Oh...well, i got it...hum log friends hain..."
"Hmm.."
"Hum log friends unke yahaan aane ke baad bane hain..."

"Oh hi!" she said, as soon as she entered the ward.
He just passed her a lil smile.
"So, Mr.Rathore...aapki didi ji ko aane mein 15-20 mins lagenge...tab tak mein yahaan hunn...vaise, myself Dr.Anu.."
He, for the first time had seen such a bubbly Doctor, otherwise, he always thought that doctors were serious.
She noticed that he was blushing.
"Hai bhagvan, ladke blush karte huye ache nahi lagte...par tum lag rahe ho...well, mein bahut flirty hunn..." said Dr.Anu, as she and Sam burst into laughter.
And here was the start of friendship b/w Sam n Dr.Anu.

"Sir, theek ho jayenga na?"

Dr.Anu lifted her face and looked at Aayesha and flashed her bubblicious smile,

"Oye hoye...Sir ke liye itna concern? Kahin pyaar toh ni ho gaya apne Sir se?"

Aayesha returned the gesture,

"Nahi nahi...he's just my senior..."

"Haan haan...doubt toh mujhe pehle se hi tha ki Sam ki koi gf hai..."

Aayesha looked at her amused,

"you are so frank n bubbly Dr.Anu..."

"(chuckles) Tabhi toh yahaan sabki favourite hunn mein..." (winks)

An hour later,
GW 14,

Sam slowly opened his eyes, as he found his Di, sitting next to him,

"Di..."
"Shhh! Chup! Kitni baar kaha hai ki take your medicines on time...lekin nahi...na meri baat sunte ho, na Anu ki..."
"Woh..."
"Haan...sochlo koi bahana..."

He just passed her a weak smile,

"Chote, why don't you just resign?"

He didn't knew what to answer, suddenly,

"Resign toh kal ke kal hi kardenge aap ke ladle bhai...and my going to be *Cough*"

Both of them looked towards the door, as they found Anu standing there with Aayesha,

"Itni himmat hai hi kahaan ki mera kehna taal de..." said Anu, as she winked.

"Par Anu..." said Sam.

Anu : "Nops! Mujhe kuch ni sunn na...Hubby ji...kal ke kal resign kar dijiye..."
Sam : "Acha biwi ji...aur kuch hukum?"
Anu : "Haan...abhi aapko na Aayesha ghar drop kardegi...kyunki mujhe aur Dr.Anjali ko urgent kaam hai..."
Sam : "Theek hai ji..." as he passed her a smile.

"Hubby ji?" asked Aayesha.

The rest 3 people just smiled, as Sam spoke up,

"Vaise hi bulati hai Hubby ji mujhe Anu..."

"Aww! So sweet...inhi adaaon par hi toh fida hunn mein...uff!" said Anu, in style!

Few minutes later,
Raisha,

Aa : "Sir, ab aap theek feel kar rahe hai?"
Sam : "Hmm...thodi weakness si feel ho rahi hai...rest karkar theek ho jayunga..."
Aa : "Sir...ik baat puchni thi aapse..."

Before Sam could reply, Aayesha's cell started ringing. Aayesha parked the SUV at a side, and picked up her phone,

"Aayesha, Rathore kahaan hai?"
"Sir, unhein ghar drop karne jaa rahi hunn..."
"Usse phone do..."

Aayesha handed the phone to Sam,

"Rathore..."
"Kya hai Rawte?"
"Tum theek ho?"
"Hunh...mere theek hone ya na hone se, aaj tak tumhein farak pada hi kahaan hai Rawte..." said Sam, as he ended the call.

Aayesha looked at him amused.

2 minutes later,

"Sir, ik baat puchun..."
"Do baatein hain puchni waali..."
"Oh...toh pehle mein pehli waali baat puchti hunn..."
"As your wish..."
"Sir...I know, it's your personal matter...par..."
"Anu, sirf meri friend hai..."

She again looked at him amused,

"Aapko kaise pata ki..."
"Bas...pata hai..."
"Sir,"
"Hmm..."
"Aapke aur Arjun Sir ke beech mein kya problems hain?"

He looked here n there, as he tried his level best, to control himself,

"Hogi Roshni Verma (imagined name) meri hone waali bhabhi, par ab, woh meri best friend bhi hai..."
"Aur mein aur Ameesha?"
"Tum dono jao tel lene!"
"Abe kamine! Sam! Rukk tu!"

"Meine kuch galat pucha Sir?"

Ameesha looked here n there, as she searched for him. He was no-where to be found.
She walked towards the mandap, and bent down, as she enquired the couple, Arjun-Roshni about Sam,
"Tum dono ne Sam ko bulaya hai na marriage pe?"
Arjun turned and looked at her,
"Haan jhalli, off course bulaya hai..."
"Haan Ameesha, Sameer se baat bhi huyi thi meri...woh toh keh rahe thay ki woh pakka aayenge..." said Roshni.
"Acha? Chalo, mein dekhti hunn..."
Few days later,
"Sameer, aap kyun nahi aaye humari shaadi mein?" enquired an angry Roshni.
"Sorry Roshni..."
"Sorry se kaam nahi chalne waala, Itne time tak Roshni ke contact mein tha...par hum dono se kabhi baat nahi ki..." said Arjun.
"Woh mujhe urgent kaam hai, mein chalta hunn..."
Roshni tried to stop him, but in vain.
"Yeh kya ho gaya Sameer ko...Arjun, mujhse bhi dhang se baat nahi karte...bas do second darwaaze par hi khade reh kar baat ki...aur chale gaye..."
Arjun looked at his wife speechless.

"I'm sorry Sir..."

But he was still lost in his thoughts,

"Sam...Sam...mujhe...mujhe Roshni ke paas jaana hai Sam..."
"Arjun, Roshni humse bahut durr jaa chuki hai..."
Suddenly, Ammie ran into the room, as she finally found her lost bff, Sameer Rathore there, after so much time,
Am: "Sam"
Sam : "Ameesha hum log agar Arjun ko sambhalein toh zyaada better rahega..."
Arj : (hugs Sam tightly) "Sam...Sam mujhe meri Roshni ke paas jaana hai Sam...Sam...meri Roshni...mujhe meri Roshni ke paas jaana hai Sam..."
Sam hugged him back and patted his back, as he tried to console his friend,
Sam : "Arjun, sambhalo apne aap ko...Roshni hum sabse durr chali gayi hai...bahut durr..."
Arjun stepped back and pushed Sam, as he shouted,
"Seedha seedha kyun nahi kehta ki tu mujhe Roshni ke paas nahi jaane de raha...tum dono...chale jao meri zindagi se dur...durr ho jao meri zindagi se Sameer aur Ameesha...just get lost!"

"Sir, sir...sir!"

Sam turned and looked at Aayesha,
"Kya huya Aayesha?"

"Sir, hum log pahunch gaye hain..."

He bid her good night, as he left for his place.

As soon as he opened the door, he was greeted by Aarav,

"Mamu!" said Aarav, as he ran into his mamu's arms.

"Tu soya nahi abhi tak?"

"Nahi...neend nahi aa rahi thi..."

Sam passed him a smile,

"Pakka games khel raha hoga...chal jaldi soja...kal school bhi toh jaana hai..."
