Playing real life character is challenging, says Shital

Actress Shital Shah, who will soon be seen in a couple of realistic films, says that her passion for painting is such that she paints even when she gets a brief break in between shots.
This Ahmedabad girl, who sometimes paints for 12 hours at a stretch, says, "Even when I get a couple of hours break in between shots, I just pick up the brush and paint. In fact, I just completed four new paintings even though I was shooting for two films simultaneously!"
Shital, who has been a part of films like Kis Hudh Tak and My Friend Ganesha in the past, is currently shooting for The Saturday Night based on the darker side of night life in metros and is excited about her upcoming projects. "I play a corporate girl with grey shades in The Saturday Night and having done my MBA, I know the corporate world well. So, I could relate to my character. But the most challenging role of my life is in ATM (Any Time Money), where I play a real life character for the first time (she plays controversial Rajasthani lady Bhanwari Devi). We have shot at real locations for this film and the way the makers have dealt with a sensitive subject is worth applauding."
