"Main class ka topper hoon. Rajhasthan board mein first position the meri 10th mein. Painting mein bhi intrested hoon. 12th k baad police acadamy join karne ke baare mein soch raha hoon", replied Sameer with a wide smile, which clearly reflected his pride over his achievement.
"Par Savitri Aunty ka beta to keh raha tha ki tum poetry karte ho aur lane 6 wali ladki k bhai ne use aur tumhe park mein pakda tha! Tumne dukhi ho kar ek poem b lkhi thi. Tum woh poem sunao ge ya mein sunao.", said a elated Chinni. Naturally she was very glad to crash away Sameer's momental rapture over his accomplishments.
"Kya uss Sunny k pet mein ek baat nai rehti chodoonga nai use! Aur woh poem mujhe ab yaad nahi."
"Koi baat nai Laddoo mujhe to yaad haina.", Chinni blurted with twinkling eyes leaving Sameer dumbstuck.
He looked at her with popped out eyes.
"Suno arz kia hai... Arrey Irshad toh bolo...", she almost scolded him being irritated.
Not getting any responses, she smirked and continued with a loud voice,
"Mujhe apni mehbooba se milne ka boht shok tha,
Usse kareeb se dekhne ka bada shok tha,
Ek din khat likh diya usko sabr karke,
Bholi bhali samajh na saki mere pyaar,
De diya usne khat apne bhai kumar ko,
Meine apne piche darya ki badi mouj dekhi,
Jab apne pichhe kumar ki fauj dekhi,
Uske maarne se jism se saaz nikal rahe the,
Muh se agle pichle tamam raaz nikal rahe the,
Logoun ne kaha kis per azaab aya hai,
Dil ne kaha khat ka jawaab aya hai..."She didn't need anyone to praise her because Sameer's insulted face was enough for her! She blabbered in a 'Shayarana Andaaz', "Wah Wah" and burst out laughing, she almost fell upon Sameer. Somehow controlling it she again started jeering the poor soul.
"Achchha yeh bolo Golu jab tum police officer ban jaoge to agar kabhi mein traffic signal todne pe pakdi gayi to kya tum mujhe bachao ge?"said Chinki rolling her eyes.
"Nahi, Kabhi nahi.", he replied fuming, his fair face got red due to anger.
"kyaaa nahi...?"
Now, he was hell bent on changing the topic of discussion to get rid of her taunting.
"Acha Chinki yeh to bolo future mein kya karogi kuch socha hai", questioned Sameer.
"Kya matlab?"
"Matlab jaise aajkal mera bejha fry kar rahi ho future main kya karogi?"
"Wohi jo aajkal kar rahi hoon. Tum jahan bhi hoge wahin chali aaongo...jante ho is year police academy mein 5 cadets less appoint honge"
"par kyun?" asked Sameer innocently.
"arre is saal wahan ek aisa cadet ayega jo ...jo...jo 5 cadets k baraber hoga", she managed to say inbetween her laughs and started running towards Mrs. Savitri's house.
Few soconds later Sameer understood what she said he first became red with anger and yelled, "Damn It".
And then anger turned to a laughter...
"ha ha ha"
