I just read all the chapters at one go, and
holy smokes, what an engrossing tale!!!
First of all, I admire your characterization of Riya. She is not meek, rather, she is the very epitome of spunkiness. The show, on the other hand, persists in showing damsels in distress, and I have gotta confess- I am very tired of it. So it was refreshing to read of a woman in law enforcement who gives back as good as she gets.
Second, the dynamic between her and ACP Rawte. Very intriguing indeed. On one hand, he trades barbs with her, and on the other, he expresses concern about her being left behind? I am very curious about the direction that their relationship might take. Also, is their bond going to be platonic or something more???
Thirdly, what an interesting Rathore. His sarcasm is a source of joy. Frankly, the show's Rathore has paled and become a mere prop since his inception, and I am glad to see that you've maintained the essence of the character.
Fourthly, the case. I like your sensitive treatment of the bar dancers, esp. that of Noor, who appears to be a complex personality. Waiting to see how the case gets resolved.
And also the undertones of feminism- with respect to Riya's treatment at the hands of her male superiors and the difficult circumstances that these women find themselves in.
Kudos for a well-crafted tale. And I HATE cliffhangers. So, please do update soon😛
