CHAPTER 4:

"Mein…kaise..wo tho Ri ki duniya hai!! Mein uski jagah kaise le sakti hu?? Use mujhse cheen liya..ye kafi nahi tha kya??"

Whole night was Sapna was disturbed..neither she could sleep nor cry… she was just numb…..

Morning by 8 am she was in her chief ACP Zakir's cabin. He was so proud of his officer. He knew her capability. Though initially he was reluctant to have a female officer in such a big post under him, she proved him wrong within first few days of her job. " you are really lucky to have this opportunity Sapna.ETF is one of the best investigation team one could wish to work with. their recent works are really great."

"I know it Sir more than anyone else" she told herself

"whats the matter officer, are you not happy to join them? anyone will be thrilled to join ETF. Any problem? Or is it that you already miss your team?"

"I already miss myself Sir…what else can I miss" . her heart said.

"Sapna?? Can you hear me?are you alright?"

She snapped out of her thoughts…"yes sir…ya I am fine..sorry…"

"whats the matter…is there anything that I can do?"

"no sir, thank you. Its all happening so fast…that…"

"its ok officer…a sudden change is difficult I know…but you know…life should go on… right?? "

She was shocked to hear this from him. Yes he was a great mentor. Was a bit different from Ri's Rathod Sir. He was strict but had a different attitude..

"yes Sir you are right…life should go on…So when should I move?"

"as you might have heard ETF lost one of its member, actually their research specialist recently…one Miss Riya Mukherji.."

She didn't want to hear more…

"it was a very brave thing that she did…consuming the poisonous bacteria…and saving everyone…very brave…" she could see the proud feeling in his eyes..she was doing her best to control her tears…

"so they are in need of a new member..our commissioner recommended your name for their team… I am sure you will have a great experience there.good luck…"

He shook her hands, everyone congratulated her…but she was burning inside…she just wanted to go away and burst out…at last she went home and cried her heart out….

Whole night she couldn't do anything else…

With morning rays she was looking at her Ri's photo…always smiling…as if giving all her energy and support to her by just a smile..

"mein a rahi hu Riya….thumhare duniya mein…thumhare ETF team keliye…par mujhe patha hai ki mein kabhi theri jagha nahi le paongi…bus itna try karungi ki thumhe sub zyada miss na kare…. Please be with me… "

Sapna was ready to move on…as her chief said…Life should go on….

CHAPTER 6-A:

He came in with his majestic walk. A girl was inside with the team. She couldn't take eyes from him. Black shirt was stunning on him. "rawte this is Sapna.new research specialist..and Sapna this is ACP Arjun.team ke second in command".

"good morning sir" she said.

He just nodded. He was not sure how to read her face. many emotions were there in her eye. As if hiding a big secret..a great pain..

"shree inhe inki cabin dikhao" rathod said.

"but sir.. waha Riya ke kuch personal things hain..tho.." shree said

Rathod thought for a second. "unhe nilke sambhalkar rakho..she will need the cabin.or…."

"nahi sir…." She almost cried aloud. All were surprised. "I mean wo nikalne ki zaroorath nahi hai.."

"but you will need the space"

"pur wo kisike yadeein hai sir… use mittayiye math…" she said slowly. All were shocked to hear her.

"yaadein dil mein hothe hai Sapna.. cheezon mein nahi.. or thum kise yaad karogi waha? Tum tho use janthe thak nahi thi na…?" Arjun shouted.

Sapna was just shocked… didn't know what to say..

"Rawte stop it… aaj uske pahla din hai.. or aaj hi..? shree take her .." Rathod stopped him.

Arjun just looked fiercely at her and walked out. Shree took her to the cabin. He stopped at the door. "this is the cabin.. um….make yourself comfortable.. koi help chahiye tho bulana..ok?"

"ok". He was about to go but he stopped and said " Sir ke bathonke bura math manna.. wo hum sub ab bhi.. adjust nahi kar payi hai…" it was almost a wisper.

"its ok shree .. I can understand..no problem… take your time… I hope we can be friends soon…"

"ya.. ok …sure… milthe hai…" he smiled and left. "sub tumhe bohot miss kar rahi hai Ri…" she said to herself.

She slowly went in. it was really neat and tidy. Everything kept in order. After all it was Riya's cabin. She kept moving touching her table, her cabins, her files, and of course her Bappa's idol. Sapna couldn't take it any more. She sat on the chair and opened the cabin to keep the file. And there she saw it..the Coin.. 😭the same one she that she kept so safe. She took it and kept it close to her heart. She could feel her eye burning…

Suddenly someone knocked and shree peeped in.. "hai sir bula raha hai.come fast" and he ran off.she kept the coin inside, composed herself, took a file and went to the conference hall.
