I liked this even more than Chapter 1. Not just because you are still expertly negotiating the fine line dividing emotional richness from corny mush, but because you have created a new and strong bond of shared pain between Arjun and Riya, a new level of understanding that can only bring them closer together, genuinely and lastingly .

Arjun is still largely living in his past, and a too sudden invasion of his innermost private space by an emotional dependence on Riya will only make him feel that he is betraying the memory of his dead wife, and drive him away from Riya. This is already beginning to disturb him. I loved "uski cheekh mein, mujhe Roshni ki cheekh sunai di thi.." He has to learn to accept this new bond as something that will not subtract anything from his love for Roshni, which will always be part of him, but as an addition that will be his strength.

This will take time if it is to be at all credible, and I am sure you will take good care that it is so.
