There is little or no difference between the old Radika and the new. The old one pretends to have a little more gruff voice, and the new dyes her hair. She is pretty old, you can tell. The patriarch is losing her vision, she needs to get back into the police force and get rid of the 2 villains in her life, one who took her mother away, and the other her grand daughter. She started her police career very well, by showing she was defeated and then doing an encounter on those villains who said they commited rape freely. It should not have taken her so long to dismiss a pathetic dacoit. Now she is caught with a meaningless balbbering terrorist as well, who's trying to poison her grandchild as well.
Much might have been expected of the younger Radhika in restoring her brother Uday's future after saving him from a 2nd marraige. That was a truly valiant victory. She needs to get her 3 children back together, but the producers don't seem to have that foresight.
