Finally~ at the epi where Megha has joined the cast.

I must say both actresses, while unique, provide a different feel to Rani. From the opening moments, I prefer Megha. There's a certain balanced feel to her delivery and a more nuanced way of providing hijinks moments.

Still have her inaugural epi to fully watch so I won't go into much detail yet about how Megha seems to make Rani a little more relatable. I think I was a little disappointed when Rani (old version) becomes frightened by a mock skeleton. I thought, how can someone who's so brilliant and first in an engineering entrance exam be a caricature at the same time? I get the need for comedy, but everything seemed a bit scattered. Anyway, sometimes, actors tone down these idiosyncrasies as the show progresses and they get comfortable in the role, but something just felt off. I'm also ready to meet the scenes all the VMs and this forum have shared regarding RanVeer 😳😆

Plot thought: Who is this guy calling RaniSa, threatening her, and how did Garry get involved?! Did the mystery caller manipulate Garry? Is Garry in cohoots with Mystery Caller, and his entry as house staff is a Red Herring, a mere distractor?!

KK, so my character thoughts ...

RaniSa, oh RaniSa ... why are you so obsessed with Rani becoming Ramadheer 1.0?! Weird fascination this lady has.

I like Veer's ears adorned with diamond earrings 😳 Okay, the more "deeper" thing I like is how we plays a nicely-balanced, reserved and kind person in a place of power (not only his Prince status but his professional heights, too). I see him ruling people with diligence, without partiality or bias. What you see is what you get. I was wondering what type of physician he is as he beat up Garry and the 3 gundas (Rani get's kidnapped epi) because if he was a surgeon, I felt like telling him, "Please, our NON-toxic masculine and empathetic Prince, protect your hands!" He proceeds to say he's a surgeon in the following epi 😆 I once sprained my thumb, and it was so stiff for 3-5 weeks, causing patient physicals and surgery to be so difficult. I had to explain to all my attendings why I was struggling to unlock scissors 😆🤡

Another thing, I noticed about Veer - he's so good at being sturdy and dependable that I didn't even get frustrated with the medical aspects of the writing. All his words saar aankho par 🤣😳

Okie enough of Veer ... (also yikes, this is getting rambly long); here is my developing take on the other characters thus far 😆

Vijay - bro is rubbing me the wrong way. There's just something minion about his mannerisms and I find him the type to aspire for higher while hoodwinking people. There's a feeling of inadequacy and subterfuge about him

Prince Jai Singh - has yet to ask for Nandini's hand but there's already a sketch feel about him. Perhaps it's because RaniSa is recommending this dude (& it doesn't seem like she matched Veer & Kiara, well 😆), and inclining there's a need for this alliance means there's a power imbalance already in Jai & Nandini's relationship. Nandini will have some kind of deck stacked against her.

Nandini & Vikram - they seem okay! I just feel like they're living a very suppressed life. This feeling of "lonely in a room full of people" echoes in my mind when I see them. I think there is a lot of potential for these characters due to their character's been given the opportunity to have a "layered personality." They would be quite entertaining with a juxtaposed reality ("tears of a clown," "more to the surface," etc etc)

Pinku - is he online learning? 🤣 Kind of curious how he can be away from school for so long

Champa & Shanti - still annoyed. Champa has properly adopted the role of a bully but Shanti seems to flip-flop. Sometimes Shanti feels bad for Rani but then there's moments where it's as if she actively stops this thought, stops her own hope, stops her own curiosity of whether she's living her full potential. I'm thinking back to the scene where she felt bad for Rani being ordered to pick up Kiara's broken acrylic nail but then re-deludes herself by saying "Their fate and purpose is equal to a broken nail" 🤔

Arun - I feel like he's going to save Nandini at some point, that his crush will be able to grow wings and become love

Hopefully this wasn't too lengthy -- I ended up producing a stream of conscious 😆

We had the same feeling like you regarding "illogical" screenplay

It looks like it is my moksh or nirvaana time, as now as we know the end result of this season, so it is easy to express the thoughts more freely and unabated.

The saving grace of the show was

chemistry and acting capabilities of the full cast was great and full of goody vibes, to such a level that noone even hated Ranisa or her first husband or Champa or Jai .... we did not want any character to exit

The scorching chemistry of Megha and Fahmaan as VeeRani (only 7.77% of their chemistry was used for this season of ATBA) and what a seasoning it was !!!!!!!

Frankly Aryan's role in Imlie I am loving it more because he is the ATBA Viewers thought process when Veer was behaving like Aditya

Fahmaan already played a part of the other spectrum as Veer, now he is play the vibes of us viewers. so there is that extra punch effect of his current character in that serial for me

In ATBA, there were instances we felt he did not deserved her, and later there were instances that we felt she did not deserve him .........

Now I am there at least to thank their work, as they are the ones keeping us more entertained

VMs what I love is they take a close up view of the video and do the representation, and also add both Megha and Fahmaan's voice to the videos.

Honestly enjoying the journey & yes, I feel like I’m undergoing a Guru-Shishya moment with everyone 😆

The vibes of the show are honestly very fun and uplifting, and a break from the Star Plus & Ekta usuals. There is an absolute charm to ATBA and I find myself smiling, laughing, loving the chemistry & ogling Fahmy e v e r y episode

Most shows don’t show this simple physicality anymore but it’s actually butterfly 🦋 flutters inducing. I love how Veer is respectful by keeping his hands away from touching her…literally just up in the air😆. This man is so wholesome

also, let me talk about plot - gals, at this point, I don’t know who Ramu-kaka is taking the fall for …. Vikram, RaniSa, someone else 🧐

Vijay kinda redeemed himself but they’re really using him as a switch player … when he showed up at the bazaar, I said “I knew it!!” But then Gary showed up 😲 So many twists and turns 🧐😭🤣 Real q, how did no one notice the Queen walking through a simple bazaar ? 🙄😂

I also saw a flash of that royalness when Rani, during Jai’s first dinner, sat at the table and everyone got up so quick. Their expressions were so offended that I was kinda shocked since they’ve been crushing on Rani. But then again, they haven’t had a Rani in their home before 😬

It’s pretty late on my side of the world so I can’t remember everything I thought of but I do want to mention 2-3 last things … Veer’s expression after RaniSa rails into him for not “watching” Vikram during the mehndi was so sad. I felt for him 🥺 Second, Megha is amazing as Rani. I can’t see anyone else being her … she owned the role in 2 epis and she matches much better with Fahmy. Teesri baat udhar (FK’s moniker in Imlie 😆) bc I can’t remember what I was gonna say 🤣

Every character is playing their role so well. It’s amazing 🤩

As for the other characters:

Champa - ugh, this lady 🤢

Prince Jai - this nasty man. He should get everyone’s jooti for being such a creep 🤮🤮

Everyone but Champa in the staff - good and nice people. Yes! Even Shanti 😆

I actually don’t have an IG or Twitter, either, but the creativity of these users is so amazing. Like literally! I would like to see some more of those artsy posts and such regarding the show, like I see shared in the other forums. I’ll go through our forum posts soon to see any of the VMs, twitter & IG posts. Everything is so neatly done in this forum, too. Not cluttered and it seems like it’ll be easy to catch up with the chats, here. It’ll be nice to see how the posts and fan feelings progressed

On a side note: I really felt for FK when he joined Imlie. He entered inbetween a very ardent, passionate, and at times senseless fandom BUT he’s weathered the storm and has been getting the accolades he deserves. I’ll try posting his recent interview soon but something that struck me is that he is so emotionally intelligent and in-tune. 🤧 I admire that.

I wonder what all these actors are up to now. I hear RaniSa gets a different actress after a while … I’m sad to hear that ☹️

We all admired the same things about Veer! He was always so respectful. In fact him and Vikram are the only ones who can kind of see outside of their royal bubble (where I would give Vikram more credit frankly).

Veer's crave for Ranisa's love is honestly sad. Poor dude. Also crazy how Fahmaan can depict all these things through his body gestures and eyes, without saying a single word. UGHHHHHHH It's something about his emotional understanding and range.

Megha is the best Rani!! This role was meant for her. And her chemistry with Fahmaan is awesome. One of the things we all loved was how well every actor fit into their character.

Yes! Considering Veer’s issues with RaniSa, his desire to be accepted and loved by her, and his sentimentality… it’s amazing he has unopposed compassion for all. I must say, he’s a physician, so inherently, one expects a doctor to be altruistic, giving, and involved which Veer is. Although many expect surgeons to be definitive in action, brash, and egoistic, which by experience I feel is necessary due to the gravity of work, but surgeons also care a whole lot. Their work is a reflection of them and their advanced skills. Their role in the human body fixates on identifying a problem, fixing it, and observing a somewhat immediate turn around. Knowing Veer needs to be pretty self-confident and confident … the grace and humility he shows is mind blowing. Like I’ve mentioned, wish some of my colleagues were like him (w/ Fahmy’s personality mixed in, too). 😳

Vikram, yes! This guy is actually such a sweetheart and down-to-earth. I liked that he told Veer during the Mehndi that Veer is changing but not for the best. He was trying to tell Veer that it’s okay to desire acceptance but not at the cost of his own humanity and feelings. Solid brother and prince we have, here.

I remembered another thing I found fun: Kiara finding the triangle in her hand to be “Modern Art.” 🤣 Like LOL, ROTFL, LMAO … all of it. She’s actually a cute bratty 70% of the time 😆

I found the blowing sindoor being shagun a little too much too soon 😆 why does the needle get stuck on marriage in every iTV show 😆
