But i didnt get what the show is about

What did veer do to rani father

The story is about a girl who initially works as a servant but has high dreams.

And as far as her father is concerned then he is in jail because of Veer's mother. She did a crime and he took it on himself being a loyal servant. Veer just told rani that it was him who did the accident to protect his mother so now they hate each other because of that!
