Mahi tries to widen rift between Rahi and Prem . She instigates Khyati against Rahi . Pari tries to warn Rahi against Mahi’s ill intentions but Rahi ignores. Khyati is worried for Prem More so finding him sleeping on sofa instead of bedroom.
Rahi is offered to join office work by Parag . Rahi is surprised , Khyati intervenes but Parag encourages her. Mahi fumes with jealousy. Later Rahi and Prem have close moments as Rahi apologises for her rude behaviour and offers to kiss him if he forgives. Mahi watches their close moments a fumes with jealous fury .
At Mumbai chawl Preet and Bharti remind Anupama to get her salary or advance somehow as they have to pay the rent else the landlord will order their evacuation.
Anupama reaches Hospital and finds Manohar on the bed . He gets a nasty phone call from his son Tarun and is very upset over the misbehaviour by his son. He is depressed n has no will to live or teach dance or get treatment . He shouts n scares his students away, he shouts at Anupama, rejects her loving care and dismisses her from her job . Anupama is shocked as she recollects Preet and Bharti had asked her to contribute towards Room rent else landlord will throw them out .
Babuji takes the LIC agent into confidence and probes Toshu’s activity and learns how Toshu was trying to usurp Anupamaa’s insurance money.

On the occasion of chawl completing 40 yrs they arrange a variety entertainment programme .Anupama wonders if she should help with the dance steps that will help the dance group win the competition. That prize money with greatly help her. Bharti and Preet financially.
