The storyline has nothing to offer.

The same plot with different actors/characters. As for TRPs, that ain't happening, not because of likeability of the show but due to sheer viewership/subscription of the channel.

But I believe trp should be affected in some way

Baa, though not involved in schemes, always defends her grandchildren while spewing toxic remarks, shamelessly living off Anupama and blaming or commanding her constantly. The only thing saving her from a well-deserved slap across the cheek is her age otherwise, someone would have delivered it with interest by now!

Baa is most definitely a vile toxic hag no doubt but it is also Anupamaa’s fault for serving her and her family despite their ill treatment. Why can’t she move out of Shah house where she receives no respect whatsoever? Why does she consider this disgusting, abusive hag as her mother?
