Shruti may be jealous or insecure but it still doesn't the change the fact that she gave years of her life to caring for him and his traumatised daughter, almost lost her life and literally lost her parents but he doesn't care even a bit for her and only wants to do love lapata with AnupaMaid. Instead of telling her a clear No and counselling his daughter, this inept and spineless man is actively hurting her at every step in every way possible. Thoo on this despicable man.

It's not very surprising considering his manipulative personality and past history of destroying lives. I don't understand how can people even thirst for such a person

Just like Baa scolded Shruti for applying Haldi cheek to cheek on Anuj, same way here people are fine with not just PDA but nihayat besharmi of an old divorced ex-couple, ek dusre ke arms mein girna, saath mein intimate dance karna, cringe eyelocks, Mehndi se naam likhna, Haldi lagana ek dusre ko….but a fiancée can’t get touchy with her husband-to-be? They are angry at Anuj nlt standing up for Maa….but stand up for what, I simply fail to understand ?

Aur ye jo likha hai in below screenshot, hum bhi same culture ko belong karte hain doesn’t matter whichever country one resides, aur humari sanskruti nahi hai jo bhi Anupama aur Anuj karte hain, especially Anupama with 3 Majnus standing right there all eyeing her 😑 If Shruti is invading his ‘personal space’ then what are Anuj-Anupama doing with Shruti? No one even cares!

Can’t fathom this kind of thinking coming from well educated Janta who support Nibba-Nibbi cringe behavior and instead character assassinate Shruti.

I have no problem in people calling out the mistakes of side characters like Shruti. But highlight the mistakes of Anupama and Anuj too. Just because they are leads doesn't mean everything they do is innocence and true love.

Plus, Shruti's character has been assacinated by makers themselves by making her do PDA and seductive stuff. The character was not introduced this way! It is a deliberate attempt to make her look cheap so that the cheapness of the leads can be covered.
