Anupama is Maya 2.0

Now there is no difference between Maya and anupama .both of them abandoned aadhya

Both claimed someone else husband as their own .

Maaya abandoning Adhya CANNOT be put in the same sentence/paragraph at ALL.

In my honest opinion, Anupama got the best (worst) combination of erstwhile Kavya and Maaya.

Difference is Maya redeemed herself by saving Anupama’s life and giving up her own.

And Maya leaving CA in an orphanage cannot be compared to Anupama abandoning CA and running away, Maya had her own valid reasons, she saved CA’s life in a way, by leaving her in orphanage.

Also Maya apologised, Anupama Gaslights by saying Aapki khusi ke liye chod kar gayi thi

Anupama is Kavya 2 - she is a homewrecker. She is in Vanraj’s house, thinking about YD and romancing with Anuj and confessing her love for Anuj to Devika, she is leading all 3 men, thankfully Vanraj has matured and is a bit smart - speaks a lot about Anupama’s nonexistent character!

I think homewrecker is a big word. She is not trying to get close to Anuj despite Anuj wanting to. Also, Anuj and Shruti aren't married yet.

Anuj and Anupama never fell out of love so it is justifiable that they feel for each other. It will be wrong only if they act on it. She can get Anuj by her side anytime she wants and Anuj will be more than willing to do that. But she isn't doing that. Remember Anuj even begged her to come back in America.

Also, she isn't thinking about Yashdeep in a romantic way. Come on, he proposed her but she refused. I think we can't label Anupama as morally weak. She is everything else but not morally weak.

But I think you are trying to be sarcastic here. I also don't like it when she serves Vanraj but she clearly doesn't have a loose character in the sense of men. And she is far from Maya and Kavya in this category.

I know you are being sarcastic and playful here but in the sense of men, I don't see Anupama as weak. She has tried to stop Anuj's advances all the time. She is still in love with Anuj so she feels for him but she doesn't act on it. I don't see having feelings as wrong especially when they never fell out of love.

🤔 Accepting a saree, the kitchen and living room "Uff Uff uff" moments, open romances at Kapadia House notwithstanding that there is a bedridden fiancée/friend being nursed, "Mae aaj bhi aapki khusboo pehchaanti hn, mujhe Yasdeep saar ke yaha chodiye ne", the not so rare girte-padte-hug karte rehna, jaane ko kehne ke baad bhi wahi ruke rehna.

Infact Jab se aamna saamne hua hain aur uske baad jab se Kapadia House aayi hn Anupama ji, (not anymore) "MaAn" laddoo hi paros rahe hn.

Anupama cannot be Maya. Maya’s leaving Adhya in Orphanage is no way comparable to what MAA did. And AnupaMAA can be compared to Maya once she chooses to die like Maya did to compensate for her mistakes.

Anupama also cannot be Maya in terms of dancing skills.

AnupaMAA can only claim to be ahead of Maya is in hypocrisy and bhashanbaazi. Maya didnt do both.

I am not being sarcastic neither exaggerating anything that Anupama has done so far. Yes its not wrong to have feelings for someone, but Anupama and Anuj didn’t just stop at that.

She keeps falling in arms of random men, sometimes YD, sometimes Anuj, the way she has multiple times danced and lead YD is enough proof how and why he felt the need to propose her, there is a limit of friendship and professional relationships (Maryada in Hindi - Anupama’s favorite word) but for Anupama, there are never any boundaries in any relationship.

She agreed to stay in Kapadia House in the US for the sake of Aadhya, but I don’t recall a single scene where she tried talking to Aadhya calmly or apologising to her, she was busy with Competition and her own dukh dard, then restaurant opening etc., and in between all this she started playing a wife to Anuj, wiping the Flour on his face with her Pallu, having close moments with him, attending video calls with him like his wife with Shah family, multiple trip and catch moments, eyelocks - and then we say she is not acting upon her feelings?

Very well knowing he is engaged, and I have no hopes or expectations from Anuj, but Anupama being the Sanskari Orat that she claims, or any woman for that matter has a 7th sense to know what a man feels for her or gauge his advances. Anupama knew and had heard from multiple people what YD feels for her, still she kept on leading him. She made a sad puppy face each time she saw Anuj Shruti together or holding hands. Intruded their private space.

Anuj had publicly pleaded to her to come back, still she didn’t maintain a dignified distance from him.

And homewrecker - she absolutely is. She is the reason for Shruti turning negative. That woman was bedridden, took a bullet for Aadhya who happens to be Anuj Anupama’s adopted daughter whom they both left for their cringe romance in their 50’s while she is just a teen, Shruti saw everything infront of her eyes, Anuj fighting and getting rude each time anything was said against Anupama, Anuj trying to bring Aadhya Anupama close and taking extra efforts to assert that Anupama knows him and Aadhya the best, efforts to make her happy and celebrate small things for her, while this girl was still bedridden struggling to take a glass of water on her own.

He told her clearly she won’t be coming to India and Aadhya and him will be going leaving her alone, Anupamaa saw all this happening in front of her eyes, what did she do to ensure she is not the reason for their relationship turning sour? Infact when Shruti asked her to leave she firmly said a No, made Aadhya an excuse to extend her unwelcomed stay and still shamelessly continued to stay. An absolute shameless woman with no character and a homewrecker.

Yes she is far from Maya and Kavya in any category, they turned out better than her, one gave up her life for redemption and another stuck with the man she loved thru all his thick and thin, unlike Anupama.

Anuj doesn't love Shruti. In the last five years, Anuj could never love Shruti. Also, Anupama never tried to get Yashdeep close to her. If she really wanted that, why would she reject his proposal.

Also, Anupama didn't try to get close to Anuj. It was unfortunately Shruti who kept calling her for her wedding preparations even though Anuj tried to stop her. She came to stay with Anuj, Shruti and Adhya because Anuj and Shruti requested her. She did her job and left. In fact, she was late for her first day because Adhya had period cramps. She also took care of Shruti.

Plus, it wasn't Anupama who invited Anuj for Dimpy's wedding. Also, Anuj asked Shruti to join for the wedding which she refused.

Maya groped a married man in a close room. Then she went on to get Anuj stay with her. Kavya broke a marriage. Please, let's see the difference here.
