Anuj is the worst Martin Sue character ever

Even though Anuj is like the worst Martin Sue character ever yet I used to empathize with him. But no anymore.

I hate Anupamaa for abandoning Choti Anu for her so called reason. But Anuj is so pathetic now that it's better that Anupamaa stays aways from him.

In her defense, I could still find some rational. Like an addict if Anupamaa is way too much into self-humiliation or anything that's her right. No one can force other person to change their ways even if your intention is good.

And in countless show, they show FLs raise their child single-handedly and that too without any kind of support and they are shown poor and traumatized). They are shown to be a good mother and their upbringings are top-notch. They have life time of abuse and they live with social stigma of being a single mother but they do nice job providing for their child.

Yet Anuj is shown to be a failure and loser? In the name of women empowerment (Manusmriti version), they are showing a man is not able to raise his child single-handedly. Even though he has excellent socio-economic background. He could marry and move on easily. What's the problem anyway?

Anuj is totally irrational and pathetic now.

Before the leap, I could feel for him (bahut thoda). But not anymore. And this man goes around giving job opportunities to Toshus of the world and then preach audience about honesty) integrity and hardwork. I have never seen him to actual care about his work. Even the Mills and Boon characters have more layers than him.

And Gaurav Khanna is too insecure to leave the show as he found stardom only through this show. Come on.... His character served its purpose and now he is not contributing anything to the story just like Kavya has nothing to do. Sometimes I think these actors want to stay cordial with Rajan Shahi. He seems to be way too powerful.

Zero sympathy for the majboor table. He's the author of his own misfortune. And he really needs to leave Anupamaa alone instead of running behind her and employing Doshu, trying to buy the restaurant etc. An idiot of the highest order

Eventually, I think his character will end ... Anupamaa ran away depositing Adhya with Anuj. I think he will deposit Adhya back to Anupamaa and then will die peacefully. Of course, those who continue to live and those who watch this wretched tale of women's empowerment will only find peace when this show ends.

I think because he is still a table, right ? A table can be seen and be used for decoration purposes. Once he becomes as good as a speck of dust, he will be blown away. phoooooo...
