I know I shouldn't say this, but I don't like the constant movement of hands while talking, neither in reel life nor in real life.

and one more thing, pointing one finger towards the person to whom we are talking matlab jisse baat kar rahe hain uski tarah ek ungli dikha kar baat karna, jaise kuch bola toh just uske face ki taraf ungli kar di, aaisa lagta hai ki saamne wale ki aankh mei abhi ungli ghusa denge, I don't like these hand actions.

But these conclusion are given by yourself na. That he is insignificant to the story, ultimately he will marry Shruti.

Hain na woh sab abhi bhi show main. Infact, parallel lead bana diya gaya hain na.
